I would have to agree on Dekron on the Father issue. This has become a real sore spot with me over the last few years of this popping up on the news, especially when it involves child care payments. All of the choices for the father are completely null and voided over the right of the mother. Father wants to keep the child but the mother doesn't = Dead baby Father doesn't want to keep the child but the mother does = Live baby, plus the father is paying child care payments for a kid he didn't want. Where is the Fathers right to choose? I realize there are some shit head parents out there and they would take advantage of the system, but no system is perfect and you have to take the good with the bad. If people are so adamant about equal rights, then boths sides have to be looked at as well. |

Mags, books an what not were passed around then usually sent to the USO station/community center after they were not wanted. Some folks even sent us a ton of handmade scarves, socks, hats and gloves. I still have a few sets I brought back with me.
Oh, by the way...don't send porn. One sure way to get a troop in trouble. |

I realize that they are reproting that but if they took this kind of hit in Q3 and another loss in Q4 that has got to get them thinking about saving $$$ and the bottom line. I sincerely hope they are going to continue with TSW, this report just has me a little concerned. |

I didn't do it rudely (I wasn't a disgruntled vet at that time. The permaban sure sped up that process though). How is that against the rules?
You mean they didn't tell you what rule you broke? They just up and banned for suggesting a game return huh? If thats the story you want to stick to thats fine. |

Gee what a shock, the Fringers come in to complain about SOE business practices, folks could set your watch by you guys. Entertaining, but as usual wrong. People go on SOE and other sites, totally ignore any rules concerning moderation guidelines then proceed to whine bitch and moan when the rules are enforced and folks are banned. Of course then the alt accounts pop up with claims of bias, defensiveness and blacklists. If folks follow the rules set up by the site owner, all goes well. Its really not that difficult to understand.

Nice art, I like it. I had to laugh when I saw the guy that was holding the phaser was in a red suit. The first thing I thought was "That could be a bad omen". Seriously though I hope this is what the Star Trek community was hoping for an hope they enjoy it. |

I think betas are useful for both the consumers and developers. For the developer side, they can use this opportunity to gauge the communities reaction of their nearly completed project, market their MMO to the masses with a taste of what is to come and attempt to find and eliminate bugs before or shortly after launch. For the consumers its an opportunity to become familiar with the game they have been waiting for, help developers locate and remove bugs and help the community grow through word of mouth (or forums such as this).

Fixed the link, but for your reading enjoyment:
"It looks like Carrie Prejean spoke too soon when she called her recent sex tape the "biggest mistake" of her life. Either the seven other sex tapes that have just surfaced aren't actually salacious, or else the former Miss California has a little more to atone for. |

"In the U.S. military courts martial are subject to the same law of double jeopardy, as the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the military, superseding the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Nonjudicial punishment is considered akin to a civil case and is subject to lower standards than a court martial, which is the same as a court of law. However if a non-judicial or NJP proceeding fails to produce conclusive evidence, the commanding officer (or ranking official presiding over the NJP) is not allowed to prepare the same charge against the military member in question. In a court martial, acquittal of the defendant means he is protected permanently from having those charges reinstated." |
