As of right now its just the shoulders that add the +10% bonus to xp.

I would imagine that they would add a couple more pieces that do the same, but i doubt they will make it so every piece gives a bonus.

The new Bind to account chest armor is giving a 10% exp buff that they have confirmed will stack with the Shoulders exp bonus.

I just think they should let you freakin buy exp with the badges you earn from heroics, why not its basicly what you are doing with the armor.

They already let you buy honor like this.

Well lets not forget the invite a friend they added in.

I myself exploited that...wasn't hard.

Get a buddy with the game already and invite his email adress

He gets the trial account and you both level two brand new characters up wildly..i think we got from 1-40 in a matter of a day.

When we hit 60, he then bumped my 30 rogue up to 60 (another perk from it)

Then he transfered  his character from the invite a friend account to his.

Bam, I had two 60's he had one new 60 and i got a mount out of it at the cost of like..30 bucks.

What they need to do is not have DK's start at level 55, drop those suckers to level 1. Letting people at higher levels has killed off the old zones enough, you don't need to kill it completly.

That would require to much effort on blizzards behalf...the DK is only built to start at level 55...they would have to create a whole lot of new shit for the DK for the 54 prior levels.  So having a DK start at level 1 isn't going to happen

I know it will never happen, but it should have been that way from the start.

I agree

It still doesn't make a whole lot of sense..

I mean a lan game can be from what..anywhere from 2-12 people?

Oh no big loss there.. Not to mention if any of them actually want to play online..they need their own CD key.

It seems like they're just squeezing pennies out now.

Btw the game looks great..but really its pretty much starcraft with revamped graphics and a few twists.

As of right now its just the shoulders that add the +10% bonus to xp.

In the next patch they are adding in PvP experience....

You will now recieve XP from killing other players in BG's.  Not sure about World pvp tho, not like it is as big of a deal as it used to be.

Yeah that was the lowbie alby one.

I had a max level heretic which i loved playing.

I also have a VW at like 43 or somthing

And a 50 thane.

But by far i loved my heretic

Stack your twink with all the account-bound badge gear and rock the bg's every single day.

I do agree that I couldn't miss out on zones like BRD and ZA...but im going to kil myself if i have to run another wailing caverns.

And plus ever since the DK's emerged Hellfire Peninsula has become even more of a nightmare then what it was before.

I used to always go to mithra at level 10.

I loved that zone!

Actually they are implamenting somthing like that next patch.

However, I think it just pertains to the XP gain from PVP'ing that they are introducing as well.

Blizzard is making a huge mistake allowing you to virtually level to 80 by staying in the BG's all friggin day, there goes the content out the window.

Absolutely ridiculous...really what is Blizzard thinking?

Here

is the article..

This may not be the massive zerg vs. zerg game that the MMO gaming community is so used to, however I would imagine there would be a large general world with a mass ammount of other players in to which you can form your groups, clans, so on and so forth.

So just because the majority of the game is small, team based, pvp or pve doesn't nessecerly negate it to be an MMO.

I highly doubt that there would be one character per account.

However it'd make sense for there to be restrictions on playing Imperial or Republic on the same server.

Also--

I don't mean to pry, but the smuggler is a very light armored class that rely's souly on cover and quick attacks.  When you stated that a smuggler being able to spec to tank, I just had to say somthing.  But i get the point you're trying to get across.

(Also it isn't Commando, its Trooper).

I would like to think that there wouldn't be a need for tanks, per say.  Trying to make a more star wars "realism", I doubt they would have one specific class of human size to be able to take hits from a rancor for very long, it just wouldn't seem very realistic.

This may integrate the use of other tactics, such as bots or shield walls or just simply taking out mobs from a distance, or blowing the hell out of them with something.

And when it comes to talent tree's or skill tree's, there will ALWAYS be one specific spec that is better then the rest, its damn near impossible to avoid.  And everyone would want to be like that.

However, that being said I would imagine that they could put in something that gives certain skills or talents tweaks, so where that specific ability is more useful in some situations, and not in others.   To further advance a sense of individualism and the desire to be more useful in some areas then others.

Are you aware that Battle.net has been free since it's creation?

That the games hosted by Microsoft on XBOX Live will cost you just over 1/4 the price (yearly) of a single MMORPG and includes access to all of the hosted games on XBOX Live (that you own)?

What about PSN access for every online game on the PS3 being free (once again that you own)?

I bought Counter-Strike and TF2 on Steam and have been playing both without paying an extra dime for years now.

Why not pay a monthly subscription for the same thing? Well, we haven't in the past. Why should we now? Just because a bunch of morons said, "Ahur-hur okay I'll pay for that," and now every greedy developer thinks they can charge for it too? Yes, let's allow the idiots of the world control the way companies charge us.

Well MMO's do have to pay for some GM's, server maintenence, facilities, electricity, and of course so the fat ass executives can keep a $90,000 bottle of wine in the cabinet.

So I agree that the monthly charges are a little on the expensive side, but throwing them away completly would be a little radical.

So in a sense any server that can hold a mass ammount of players can be considered an MMO.

REDICULOUS.   Any server, that make people fight  15x15 or stuff like that, is not massive.   There are nothing MASSIVE in 64 players in a map. We already have Battlefield 2 maps with 64 players, and we don't call  BF2 a MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER GAME. Is just a MULTIPLAYER GAME, because tehres nothing massive in 64 players.      500 players? we start to call. 1000 players? sure. 5000 players, a good server.  10.000 a small town.

Please, stop tryiing to play with the words to make.. whatever you have in mind...  live under the name of MMO.

Ridiculous...  Is actually the proper spelling of the word, also Trying and  There's.

If you're going to try to make serious reply at least have the will to make yourself seem smart by using the automatic spell check that underlines any miss-spelled word in red.

Anyways--

Just because some of the instances are not enormous, does not mean that the game isn't an MMO. It would be far to much stress on a server to have 500 vs. 500 pvp combat in one specific area.

I would imagine GA will be clustering their servers for PVP.  Nevertheless, I still consider Global Agenda to be a Massively Multiplayer Online Game.  Just because it has an FPS label on it, and how some aspects of the game need to be adjusted from other classic MMO's for a much smoother and enjoyable game, doesn't classify it as an MMO imposer.

You're right I don't consider 64 players to be a massive ammount.  Evenso, Global Agenda hasn't released server population caps; so enough with the ignorance, if you don't know somthing for sure don't say that it is.

I'm stumped as to how people can actually accept these games as MMOs? There is ZERO real map land in any of these mmo's. It's all instanced arenas that have been mocked up to "LOOK" like an mmo. Hell, even the descrptions for most of these games (primarily Huxley Online) EXPLAIN to the common individual that these games are nothing but DOOM with "mmo elements" like character information saves & stat allocation.

For some reason when he posted this I wanted to strangle babies.

First of all MMO is an acronym for Massivly Multiplayer Online.

So in a sense any server that can hold a mass ammount of players can be considered an MMO.

Also-- Global Agenda isn't all instanced, it has its own general large world.  And it would make more sense for this particular game to have more instances, then to simply run around and kill spiderlings outside of the city all day.

Well lets put in an example shall we?  Planetside.

That was an MMO First person shooter. That all you really did was pick up a gun and go kill shit and take bases.  I thought it was really fun for a few months, but then decided there really wasn't reason for me to keep paying $14 a month for a game with little progression.

As for Global Agenda they happened to implament  "story lines" , quests, and promote teamwork for a common goal that is reasonably obtainable.

Yes First person shooter MMO's aren't like the classical Fantasy RPG.  Nevertheless, its a genere of MMO that should be accepted and not criticized by schmucks who are completly convinced that nothing but elves and fairies can make a bloody MMO.

I haven't really looked into Huxley or Crimecraft so I couldn't sit here and try to stick up for them.

Any mini game really that can inspire a sense of motivation to play the game besides just leveling and pvping would be an excellent element to have in any game, expecially this one.  Final fantasy has to live up to their name in mini games and all.

If you really want a game that you can just solo through, and you can have pvp at the same time...

Guild wars would be an excellent game for you.  However tho I felt that the game came to a screeching halt at 20..but its very easy and its free to play.

I never really could get into EQ2 or Vanguard, the crafting system in EQ2 was really good though.

However, you may want to consider an upgrade to your current PC for some of the upcoming games; 2 gigs of ram just doesnt cut it anymore.. tigerdirect.com has really good deals, and if you now how to put a computer together, then you're in business

Blitzball would be fantastic, I would buy the game just for the reason to play it against other people.

But it would have to be the original FFX version of Blitzball, and not the FFX-2 Version which sucked.

Actually, DAoC pre zerg is really fun.

Mostly the 20-24 BG's is where a good portion of the DAoC Community stayed in.

Then came the twinks...
