After years of development and a long beta period, the date you've all been waiting for is at hand. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will open to hordes of fans in Europe on the 18th of September 2008, simultaneously with the North American launch.

Mark jacob said ( on WHA forum ) that tere will be a huge news this week but not gonna be the release date so im guessins NDA will drop with newsleter or open beta date .

This, and to be more specific he said the newsletter should be coming early next week. I think it's going to be NDA drop and he will announce when open beta starts at either PAX or the event just before it. (Just my opinion of course.)

Tough they said that when "open beta begins", it is not typical open beta in sense that it gonna have NDA. Maybe they changed it.

*cough* Umm, I'm not completely sure what you are trying to say but, yes open beta isn't going to be like normal betas where everyone can get in, and it is never gonna change. All open beta for WAR means is there is no NDA, so it's no longer 18+ restricted and your comp specs don't matter.

I already knew that.

I hope they keep there word for you DIE HARD FANBOIS I really do i hate to see one of you guys hurting your self if  this isn't  true    These guys really want your money i don't care how you look at it. The sad truth is some of you Fanbois won't see that until you ready.  BTW where is the DX10 the BIG Selling point on this game LOL.

How many people do you think are running Vista?

Point is not that who is running vista, but why advertised features not exist or is not enabled during release.

It will success.

WAR has what WoW maybe did right plus much, much more. Yeah I know that WoW didn't invent those features but it was first MMO what I really liked to play until my character reached max level.

I just wonder what people is looking from AoC guilds, this is not topic to recruit or look guild.

So what you are looking from AoC guilds?

Personally I'm trying to be in guild what is mature, strong and accept different people and not just their 100% ideal.

It gonna be quite big factor to be in big strong guild when thinking stuff like player cities what cost fortune to do and their bonuses what they bring to guild. Also bigger guild can give easier to to find good party to reach common goal during quests etc. Way to form online friendships and more.

Hopefully my rusty staff and spell book will find good guild eventually if I'm not already in one good guild.

Thanks from letting me to join.

I have now registered to forum with username "Fatum Exitium".

It is good move of them since those who gonna play WAR beta in current state probably get so interested from game that they don't even think to cancel their pre-orders.

I sent my recruitment application, I join to this guild if application gets accepted.

If guild keeps growing and guild can deliver what it promises, I gonna stick with it.

To not get biased review, it would require guy who get WAR and AoC or even more MMO games same time, try them all equally one month (activating them all about same time) and writing review from them all after month playing. Also he must not be fan of any series where MMO is based or otherwise it ruins entire idea of reviewing them.

DIrectx 10 support is in retail version from game. Shader model 4.0 if game support that in Directx 10 mode, game gonna look sweet.

Well, at least they can't just flee from combat. However making class weak in what class is specialized is weird.

This is excellent guild where everyone should try to join, if interested.

It would be nice if weather effects did do something like. Going against heavy storm wind slow you down but going opposite direction actually make your character faster. Ranged DPS classes would be able to turn it benefit.

Let's say other side has 4000 order players logged in and Chaos has 1000 players logged in. Then just buff 1000 chaos players to equal 4000 order players. Meaning Chaos players get quite buff.

However that causes also own silly things, like then you would need also buff based to that your side NPC guys. Now part where it becomes silly is that every PvE quest related guy in area where enemy can attack you would also need to be buffed not to make quest way too easy to player and dominant side would be way too weak to beat even NPC alone without teaming up.
