Two other points which play a Big roll.
The movement of your Character and attacks are very fluid
The User Interface is very clean and customizable, especially with the recent update it makes setting options a dream compared to some other games
A third point it is *very* casual friendly.. blizzard has been adding more and more content to appease to the masses and its worked, they may have lost some Raiding / Hardcore fans like my self, since its changed alot from what it was at 60, but Blizzards a company and they're goal is to get the most people playing the game and they do it well. |

Id say give the City of heros / villians 14day trial a go. The games pretty fun and you could play that for months and have fun because its alot differnt then your standard mmo. |

There will be raiding, you will get better items for *pve* from raiding, but there will be items from PvP rewards / crafting that will be better for *pvp* but wont cut it in raiding.
I belive thats what AoC's going for. correct me if im wrong |

Well for one thing AoC does pretty much have Player Owned Cities, no house's that i know of but a guild city is good enough if not better.
And another reason is what gameplay aspect does player housing really bring to the game? its a nice little added o, ill go afk in my house or maybe store items in there or something but really id rather have a developer work on the gameplay aspects such as combat, dungeons, crafting before any player houseing was involved.
And if you really want a player house go play sims, you can buy furniture, set people on fire, murder your family it's a fun game if you want to buy a new sofa and put up some pictures.
Also about the whole MMO's no longer virtual worlds there geting more virtual then most previous MMO's, look at DAOC, and there RvR, and new AoC's upcoming Seigeing (should be alot of fun or a flop, well see) |

Id suggest you read this. Very very interesting and I personally can not wait till we have MMORPG's of the same depth as the one described in the link. http://www.guildcafe.com/Vox/04073-Smith-Dynamic-Worlds.html
edit *fixed the link* |

Ya, i've had some kind of opinion just few of my friends have strong dislikes for vista guess its just rubbing of on me. Im just going to look up a some comparison shots of DX9 v 10 and see how big of a difference appears. And like you said I could just throw up XP on a differnt partition and load my old games on that one. Much Thanks

I'm trying to decide if all the pain and agony expressed over Vista is worth it for a more *finished* game. Ive gotten very accustomed to Windows XP, and just keep hearing bad things and the occasional "Vistas not to bad". Long story short with planing on upgrading my comp which has not been upgraded it in 4 years except for replacing a blown power supply, trying to decide if buying Vista is worth it for playing any of the upcoming games, most of my Interest's Lie in AoC, and WAR. I also do a bit of Photoshop and movie editing.
What's everyone else's thoughts on this? anyone else had a similar dilemma. Thanks for the posts (if i get any
