2} FFXIV isn't designed to play only one class.  You really should play a selection of them, because as I just said above, you can play every class on one character thus unlocking skills and abilities to be used on another class.  For instance you never get the ability to use cure on say a Pugilist or Lancer, but after you play the Thaumaturge and Conjurer to a certain lvl and unlock those spells you can then equip said spell on one of those melee classes if you ever play them.  Some skill and abilities greatly enhance other classes and make them not only more robust but more fun too!

4} No, not at this time.  You'll have to wait until 2.0 before the entire suite of housing options become available.

5} That list is old and no longer accurate as all classes had substantial rework done on them.  Read the 1.20 patch notes here, that include the new class skills and abilites in post #6 & #7.

6} Point allotment have been abolished until a later time.  For now they're auto added to their appropriate stats based on the class you're playing.  They are coming back eventually but probably not until 2.0, though I keep thinking I read that the new jobs have a bit of control over points, but I could be wrong.  Ask in game.

Thanks for the fast reply , the information you provided wis great , one question  you say you can play more than one class on a single character , How? do you switch between them at a trainer  how can you pick what classes you want to level on your character?

Hey all I am new to this game any have a few inquires about the game

1: Buying extra Character slots "are they a one of fee?"

2: I play aThaumaturge  but a few guides I have read say level a conjurer as well? to gain access to there spells , does this meen level a whole new character of can a Thaumaturge gain access to Conjurer spells another way?

3: Are The Lalafell just the cutest character's ever in a MMO  :)

4: Just got my Apartment & was wondering can you Furnish it the way you like ?  like in EQ2

I got lvl1 Thunder , lvl2 Parsimony , lvl4 Blizzard - these seem to be Conjuer spells but my charact is a Thaumaturge & has none of his class spells like Phantom Dart - Exaltation - Scourge  why?  is it because I started in Limsa Lominsa instead of Ul'Dah where the Thaumaturge Guild is ?

6: Point allotment - when & how do you get these  at my level I have 0 points to allot

I didn't play GW1 but after reading & seeing videos of GW2 it looks like a fun game I would like to play , My only question is is it just PVP ? or do they have PVE servers

I have never really been a PVP player & for good reason "I suck at it"  I panic & most offten I seem to hit everything but the enemy  :)  plus bening not that good at PVP I would get ganked alot & no matter how you look at it thats now fun .. well maybe for the ganker it is.

I played for free , the character creation is limited to certian types you can play for free , to open up others you pay ..

Currently Playing Star Trek Online ,  Good gameplay , Use of Brainpower required to play , & of course its FTP  so gow can you go wrong  :)

Good Soloing MMO

1: World of Warcraft - can solo for lvl 1 to Max level "Monthly Sub"

2: Lord of the Rings online - easy to solo "Free to play Model"

3: Age of Conan "Free to Play"

But if you really wan't a good Solo type Game  , I recomend getting "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim" while its not a MMO  it the best RPG around  with great storie line & immersion

You need a None of the Above Button , I would live a MMO based on "Might & Magic World of Xeen"

1: The Greatest MMO Ever Made : Asherons Call , with Skyrim Engine

2: Lands of Lore

3: Might & Magic : World of Xeen

SWTOR will not Fail  , No hyped MMO will ever faill  even Rift didn't fail , why ? well its simple there zero risk  all these major MMO spend what ? 20-40 Million developing the game  & guess what , they make that back on day one with over hyped Box sales

Here an idea if your really sure you have madethe best MMO ever to be released  Make it free & rely of monthly subs for income

To get me to spend money on a Game is a feat in it self  But Skyrim did one better , Not only did i get the collectors edition  But I purchased 2 nice Frames $20 each for the 2 Maps that came with it  so now there hanging on my wall infrom of me  there a good size to  about 80cmx60cm  with heaps of info one one  & the other just looks great

Skyrim is how a RPG should be , a open world full of adventure & excitment at every turn , NPC that taunt you calling you a wussy  made me lol so hard .. the only thing I dislike (well at least dont love) is the interface  but thats because it was made for Xbox360  its not a great PC interface  but thats why we have a mod community ..  Now If I can just get thru this 640 page Official Game Guide  :)

This was inspired by the Immersive Interface Mod of Oblivion. The devs of TES realized that people who play their game for years (and not for days or months) try to achieve more immersion--that is, they play the game because they love the world. So they take immersion mods like Immersive Interface, Real Hunger, etc.

The fading of the UI was the key feature of Immersive Interface--the hud will not bother your vision and you will feel as if you're fully connected to the gameworld.

Question : Interface - Can you have you  Magicka-Health-Stamina showing in Numbers instead of just colored bars  & can you have your HUD info allways on screem ,  & why no Minimap ?
