But I did not renew today for several reasons. I will be back when some of them are addressed.

1 - Crafting is a broken mess

2 - Sieging does not work.. so I would rather wait to get to 80 when it does. This was the highlight of the game for me, so it not working is a major issue.

3 - Dungeons like the Main System are a miserable experience. Hard to get a balanced group for it (all players need to be within 5 levels); the elite mobs hit you for YOUR level, whatever level you are - ie, no point going back when a few levels higher. as they will scale with you, but the drops and xp will not. They are public.. meaning there can be some fun pvp, but getting even to the second boss can take hours. And respawns are intense, so one wipe and you have to start the whole dungeon again.

4 - Travel times. Well, this is more a question of taste, but there is so much travelling to get all the limited content that it gets old fast.

5 - Stats still a total mystery and probably do not work.

6 - Itemisation still limited (for my HoX at least)

7 - Excessive class imbalance. Tempest of Set are raid level mobs. It's a travesty of a class.

8 - Stamina system means it takes longer to run around the higher level you are, and makes melee progressively worse against casters.

9 - Solo content slows down considerably.

10 - Performance has been declining for the last three patches or so.

11 - No real community evolving, because of the zone instancing

12 - No PVP rewards, lack of PVP incentive.

13 - Almost no fun sidequesty things to do... missing a sense of life and polish past 40 or so.

14 - Instances are boring to look at.

15 - Zones need work. They are very variable. Some zones, like Thunder River, are fantastic. Others are really unpolished.

16 - Too much grinding. My whole guild is now grinding one high level zone. It is not alone in this. Its a travesty when grinding is deemed for fun than dealing with the horrors of dungeons.

There is a lot to like in AoC; its just not finished. I hope these issues do get addressed, because if even some are fixed I will be back for sure.

5. on last monday's patch they enabled stats making the game much harder but more fun.

8. they have stats that keep this from happening if you are willing to envest your pionts in to them.

9. this isnt a solo game...the game is suppose to support having a strong guild relation after level 40

Some of your things about AoC are very accurate and NEED TO BE FIXED while others have already been fixed or are not a problem.

1. aion- it could be a good game or it could be a stupid asian grander with better grpahics you never know coming from ncsoft.

2.mortal online- it could be the best mmo ever made or it could go bankruft and never release

3.WAR-it will be the #2 MMO (posibly #1 but doubtful) (and #2 acording to sales) out when it releases it will take ALOT of WoW player base and it will be a fun game (but i keep hearing to much grind from beta people)

And how about GW2, stargate worlds, champions online, TWoTLK, darkfall, and earthrise? did all those games magicaly disapear (darkfall might lol)

i would say your right and this is pretty much the only thing funcom hasnt  admitted is wrong with there game everything else they relized that they are either dumb asses for doing or just missed (alot of) bugs.

if they do fix this is will be after all the major stuff is worked out (they have got about half the issues worked out)

expect this game is be 10 times better just as they release the xbox360 version because it WILL happen that way trust me every complaint will be gone because they wanted more money from console players than us because there are more of them.

this game is going to come back completly when they redo all the graphics for the game it will be considered in the top 5 MMO's of today once it happens. And will be considered the #1 sci-fi mmo (with an avatar) on the market. (if something truly amazing happens before the revamped world releases.

this update will happen at the end of 2008 probably competing War and WoW and AoC (even though aoc was made by the same company)

if they dont release the revamped world then it will die.

lol when i get rezed it isnt even a loading screen its a screen that automaticly fated as soon as i press the rez button AoC is made for people with good computers.

the biggest Mrated games at the moment for kids are GTA4 and COD4 kids like the most mainstrian games ever made (before those it was halo 3)

NO ONE on this forum will ever recommend Age of Conan other than me everyone here hates it for some random reason so when you see thousands of i hate age of conan posts here that doesnt mean its a bad game.

lol this is what i think and when i buy the game in a few weeks this is what im going to do....next time level slowly enjoy the game and other games and your real life, if you level up fast when a game first releases no matter how spooth the launch you will be disipionted....in other words the devs put polish on the first 40 levels because they know that these levels are more important because 80%-90% of players it takes more than 3 months to get past these levels so once the game releases they will have more time to fix these issues..........here are your options

1. make more charcters and level up to 40

2. suck it up

3. come back in 3 months

have fun

P.S.      Aoc is the best mmo ive ever played

i like the story of the beginning its fun only annoying part is you have to know what class you want to play.

here are options for a person like you...

1. WoW pve server

2. LoTRO

3.Age of Conan Pve server

4. runescape

5.tabula rasa

go with #2 or 3 i say though (#3 is the best)

ok heres the thing i have seen MANY beta leak videos for War and am in the closed beta for AoC and i can say that they both will do something for MMO and will have about an equal number of players but this post is about where those players will come from.

Now judging from what ive read, heeard and watched about War im guessing that 97% of its players will be a former WoW player (arnt we all)

also on lanch day of War WoW will loose im guessing about 1/5 of its customers (im saying that low of a number because of the WoW expansion) and about a year later about in all half gone.

AoC i will say the people will come from  Wow guessing only 65% on this one though. and on AoC lanch day im guessing about 1/10 of subscriptions for WoW will be gone (i know mine will) but AoC will bring Many console playing people to this genre (also because it comes out for xbox360 in september) by the time War is out AoC will start to be a threat to WoW also because by then people will release that the open beta all together was a screw up (closed beta was very good though i was in it and still am).

so in all AoC is going to bring MANY MANY for new MMO players than WAR will but most likly WAR will have a slightly higher number of subscribers

ps. WAR may not do as good as we think though because of the little kids with level 70's in wow dont want to leave them and want to be lvl 80.

i olove darkfall (im a fanboy of it) but this guy is a dumb ass......better graphics than AoC??? since when ive played AoC and looked at DF screen shots a million times and i can tell you for sure that AOC GRAPHICS ARE BETTER

also just so you know if they dont make there 2008 time frame then they will be competing against mortal online

Without this, what is stopping griefer from griefing? He fears nothing case he has nothing to loose.

And there is no way he can be punished... Why should he ever stop? You can bring 100 people looking for him. He will die few times , so what ? He gains triple from taking gank opportunities and easy kills.

AoC (just so you know the closed beta is EXTREMLY STABLE  and i have only run into 1 bug and it wasnt major)

also im not an aoc fanboy (im a darkfall fanboy) but still you have no idea how buggy the real servers will be its people like you that make fake review to make AoC go down the toilet.
