no skill up through using starter weapons is the only part i dont like

just so you know the hacking is a problem but not a huge one ive only ever seen 1 person hack, also just because the people running the game are retarded it doesnt mean the game sucks the game is really fun.

I was asking questions relating to technical problems I was encountering in-game.   I've played the game off-and on since day 1.  I havent been hard core because RL has kept my somewhat busy, but that's irrelevant.  Assuming I haven't played the game because I bash it or praise it is just an underhanded way of trying to discount my opinion.

Welcome to the Darkfall Forums on mmorpg.com, where the only way fans can handle any negative opinion of the game is by falling all over themselves trying to dismiss it by bashing the poster at 100 cliche's per minute.

You got the most common ones right out of the gate... You're a "WoW playing" "carebear" who "hasn't played the game"... and "an idiot"... And all on the first page! Pretty good!

Exactly my point, his whole "counter argument" to me biting into his previous MMO experience is that the ONLY one he listed was UO. I'm sorry, but you need to hang around the MMO-pool just a teeny-bit longer before you make outrageous and un-educated statements about a game.

There are over 20 Free-2-Play korean grinders that are SEVERAL times worse than any main-steam released MMO's that got bad wraps. The worst one so far has been Dark&Light, that ironically, within the past 8 months, tanked it's servers completely

ive already started to buy other spells but i dont have the ingredients for them at all so i use mana missile

darkfall matches all of those except in america but you can move over when they make american servers but you cant get the game as of right now

If Aventurine is going to charge you a recuring fee of $15 after the initial free month runs out, they need to provide a way to cancel your subscription before the free month runs out for people wanting to avoid this charge.

Or are you trying to tell me that after the 30 days are up, you'll have to re-enter your CC info again to subscribe?

im leaning towards mahirim  because once they fixed animations they will look really good running (also on 4 legs)

By the time Aventurine gets their act together (if ever), these macro'ers / exploiters will have gathered all they need and by the time the majority of the gamers actually manage to get in and play, they will be griefed to death by these fully geared, rich and high skilled up players, till they get fed up and drop the game.

I really hope for their sake that Aventurine manages to address the exploits and cheaters, ban them and remove all their data from the server.

And if not.... well then I hope they gonna launch a new server a.s.a.p. for all the locked out players to get a fair fresh start after all.

 

with the current track record, I don't think I'd count on it.

the only differnce in this game about macroing is if someone saw you doing it they could kill you easily.
