I agree Sandage, and agree with the post. But I had to give up the game after I hit lvl 50 and was really ubered out. The new content was more of a grind then anything else....and a lot of grind.
Then It really seemed to me that all LOTRO cared about was being next to warcraft, and some big popular for 10 year old kids type game...they are adding balrogs and completly destroying certain things about Tolkiens lore, which I have been a life long fan of. Maybe ill check it out again someday. |

I really agree with you somn, I really think it would be great if he just geared up and busted ass, it could really be a great game, and if its live and kickin in 1-2 years then ill give it another try. I didnt like EQ2 much, but after all the constant improvements its now the game I play. Also I dont care who gets mad at me for saying these but im sick of you little WoW noobs always being so negative about everything. |

I personally think EQ2 has really busted ass in their past years. While game like Warcraft continue to slack off (I sadly played for 2 years) and continue to get millions of subs, EQ2 had to keep improving their game to get their sub rate up, and they really have. Not many other games can compare with the amount on content. EVE comes to mind and beats EQ2 out...any other ones? |

oh yeah, make it maybe 20x harder and I will feel accomplished when I hit lvl 70, which was sadly pretty damn eazzzy

The world of MMOs is densley populated with noobies, and just like the rest of the world, about 80% of all people are just not that smart to be nice. So lately, when you read reviews off MMO's (in the past year or 2) I have been seeing these little Warcraft newbs reviewing games. Left and right you see, "this is what warcraft does, and this is what this game does" and I am so sick of it. How dare these little noobie ass game devs give games worse scores because they dont act like warcraft does? For an example read game informer, apparently the biggest game magazine or whatever, and read the review of vanguard SOH, and then read the review of WoW burning crusade. Both the reviewers are currently in WoW newbie land (yes I hit lvl 70 blah blah blah just to say, and prove my point)....and in wow newbie land they are just pro WoW, and are such newbs that they cant give anything else a fair look. Why cant we get some MMO vets on the scene, who dont play WOW???? Go to any site, any magazine and most of these damn reviewers are WoW newbies! WHY? Plz tell me some old school gamers are feeling my pain. I have been playing games my whole life, and MMO's since 1998 so this isnt just some anti WoW ramble. This is just saying that the reviewers are noobs, have a hard time getting good at harder MMO's and dont review them fairley because they suck, then they go back to WoW, feel all good and give a better game, a dishonest review. And if you are one of these reviewers, please explain to me your arguments.
