I rated it all a 10 except role playing in the rating meter here at mmropg.  I think the lack of voice chat , and the lackluster normalsee of /guild,/group,/yell commands make the roleplaying lackluster.  Only time will tell if roleplaying will get better.  I know my first night i loged in , i was going throug the quests, and i ended up grouping with a group that was full, but no one was chating, no voices, no typing, no nothing, i was like wtf, what is this, single player world in conflict or half life 2, but even so...That was the only part i didnt mark as exceptional.

I was watching some of the latest footage that were put up on youtube for the launch yesterday, witch were most all great, ea players know how to make great youtube vidoes, any way,  people that are geting there copys of warhammer, make sure to post videos for us unfortunates that dont get copys of the game to drool over.

After watching the latest interview my spirits have been re-ignited.  I think the cryptic team has a firm grasp on this ip as they say.  so with that said... i would like to express a gameplay idea.  an exploration system...one that would have players earning skills, badges, like we had in star wars galaxies... i earned a 125 badges in star wars galaxies, and it was fun looking at everyones acomplishments like they were some job resume.  I want the feeling when im exploring in star trek online like I was the first person to ever reach this part of a solor system or planet.

My mum has a friend that stayed over at her house the other day and she lives in Las Vegas, Nevada where the unvieling of STO was supose to have taken place this weekend.   People that got to go what was it like, was the cryptic team confident, aragant, straight forward?

Theres been alot of discussion on timeline opinion's but define witch series would best be compariable too if the game were released now from fighting sequences, dialog, feeling and for what reason.

I keep looking at the release date on mmorpgs homepage and it keeps telling me its coming, its coming, but damit when!!!

Im glad to see Vanguard doing so well.  Sigil must have some aces under there sleves that they recetnly used.  Now i just need to find a copy of the game and install it

Where is all the warhammer fanbois posting posts on here, id expect more publicity for this, like AOC had, are we not coming near to the release of it?

I chose deep space nine because I think being on a space station is where a big portion of the game should be played at, like maybee makeing living courters avaiable for each races on there own space station, and having that be the starting point of the game.

Star trek online finds a new developer to make the game

If you missed out on the CES show stuff witch is acutlay still going on untill the 10th then heres one of the goodies I pulled out of the plefloral of gadgetry thats being unvielded in Las Vegas.  Its an LCD that cant realy do it justice untill you either take a look at a picture of it or see a video of it.

"Alienware put on what it termed a "technology statement" in Vegas tonight with the aptly named "curved display." That's its unofficial name. It also has no price yet, and no release date more specific than "second half of 2008." What we can tell you is that after the brief minute or so we spent with this monitor, we think high-end PC gamers are going to be excited for it.

The specifics are that it's a rear-projection DLP screen that can run at a resolution of 2,880x900 pixels (wider than a 30-inch LCD, but not quite as tall). Alienware also said it was running off only a single, midrange ATI Radeon HD 3870 graphics card. We only sat down (crouched, really) in front of the curved display for a minute, but we were instantly impressed by the level of immersion. The panoramic screen encompasses your entire line of sight, including your peripheral vision. The effect eliminates almost all visual distractions from your gameplay.

As weird as it may sound, this is actually the most practical panoramic display we've seen. You can see from our picture that the screen will fit relatively easily on a desktop. We expect it won't be cheap, but whatever the price, we imagine Alienware will get plenty of interest from the high-end gaming community once the curved display becomes available."

It might be that its just late here in Nebraska where im currently at but is the members growing at an abnormaly fast rate in the last few months here at mmorpg.  The last time i glanced up at how many there were it was like around 560,000 but its nearing 750k now.  I bet its all the titles coming out being affiliated with movies like star wars,stargate, lord of the rings, conan...

If it didnt say in the few quotes from the paragraphs i listed above these models wont be available untill q1 of 2008.  Also fyi the keybard as well as all the other lit up parts on these models can change to any color you wish with software provided by alienware some what like the dell 1700 series thats already out now, so if you want your keybard orange in the morning to wake you up and maybee brown at night to put you to sleep you can!hah
