Don't like to schedule my life around a game.

I do not play games to make friends, do not like voice apps, etc. Most of the people that play games ( especially WoW) annoy me.

Raiding just isn't my thing.. repetitive and boring to me.

Pre-cu SWG was the best gaming experience I have ever had. Many classes were fun to play... I got jedi the old way, but had the best times as Weaponsmith,  CM, Rifleman, fencer, tk, etc.. The game was very unique... all mmo's today are more or less the same.

People are saying "fail" way too much lately.. and it annoys me. "hai" and "l0lz" bothers me as well

I don't hate it. It is fine by me that others don't like it. I personally hope that most of the WoW people stay away from it, so they don't ruin the community :o

I bought the first Warcraft game around the mid 90's without knowing anything about it. Game was pretty good, bought the 2nd and 3rd. Probably played each of the games for only about a week each... was never really into it that much.

I was playing SWG before WoW came about. I went on test center to test the combat upgrade and I knew that it would ruin the game for me... WoW and EQ II were coming out. I chose WoW. Played it since launch off and on. Waiting for a decent mmo to come out....

Realistic with a bit of a twist. Aion/ Guild Wars = yes. WoW= no.

Pvp is horrible atm. It has always been bad, but it seems bad even for WoW lately. Wintergrasp sucks and it lags horribly. Bg's are pretty much dead, and I hear Arena is even worse than it used to be. Game is all about large pve raiding and gear grind again..

WoW = Shaq. Biggest, but dumb and ugly.

I think it is silly how people think WoW used to be so much better or something.. I have had it since launch and I think it's pretty much the same. Now if you look at SWG, I can understand where people are coming from...

I think Aion will be good, but no "savior". Bioware's star wars game or the morrowind mmo will probably be big hits.

Yeah, belongs in Off-Topic. Tarja is the best of those imo.
