This is the ONE thing I've been waiting over a year for - the character model revamp.

And I have to say that they SUCK.

SOE requires you to enter your credit card information (billing method) when you register a new account. Almost every MMO company is the same.

You get 30 days free because they don't charge you until a month has passed.

It's pretty much the same process with all MMO's.

You get 30 days free, but you still must put in your credit card details upon activating a new account.

But to claim that without decay the crafting system is "worthless" is kinda silly.

As a crafter I've always liked the idea of decay (repeat business) and I liked it as a role player (keep my 'special' weapons at home, and use them sparingly), but it's actual value as a valid function in the game is questionable at best.

I don't think it actually hurt crafter income (on most items). Never hurt my business, especially when you consider how looted items hurt crafting for real.

This update is yet another step in the right direction.

Verbal abuse is rampant. Verbal abuse, sadly, all-too-often has become the norm, not the aberration. From a television show like Jerry Springer, upon which it is hard to find a guest that isn’t verbally abusive, to cell phones with cameras and video cameras that are everywhere showing us 24/7 on cable news networks everywhere how impulsive humanity has become, verbal abuse threatens to be so common-place as to be taken for granted.

Even with all this wide-spread and continually proliferating public verbal abuse it seems we, as a species, aren’t paying near enough attention to the intimate verbal abuse that is exploding in relationship after relationship in moderate suburban homes and expensive homes everywhere.

if you care to look around you will see that in fact being verbally abusive is on the rise and in fact considered to be WORSE then physical abuse due to the lasting psychological factors and is considered to the victim to be just as dangerous if not moreso then physical abuse. Now there is even information on verbally abusive clientelle and seaking counselling in the workplace so i think you need to rethink this stuff and saying that they are paid to take it and should take it blah blah blah

i'm not going any further but I see a true resistance to just look and possibly realize that your showing exactly why there are issues and why this guy seemed to think its okay to post openily about being verbally abusive and why you think its okay that workers must take it as he is upset. You called me wrong when I said they didn't have to put up with it and I corrected you on this issue. your talking abuot a real world issue and how to treat human beings.

Also accusing someone of lying is in fact calling them a liar. You can try to hedge your way about it but the fact of the matter is your just playing with words.

please rethink your attitude to this because no its not okay and your defense of it is in fact something that should not happen. Are we done yet or are you still going to continue to try to justify abusiveness as being okay in some way because you know "i didn't hit her" ..

anyhow this is pretty much making me want to not deal with this board at this point in time as you see humans for what they really are at times and it truly looks like you think its okay to insult people and call them names as its not as bad you know because "at least I didn't hit her" they say with pride "i just called her names"

You do realize that bullying by females is in fact all verbal and is considered worse and more damaging then bullying by males dont you?

its pretty bad when this stuff comes to light but the bottom line is please stop trying to justify what is fundamentally wrong with todays society and why verbal abuse is in fact increasing as result of viewpoints like yours in the present "me generation" which is why its getting worse and worse and worse.

Actually, informed opinion puts the game at around (75 thousand subscribers). That is not impressive (even sad) but it's enough to keep it going. Don't forget that the Station Pass can also float this game indeffinately.

Just continue to love the game you love to play and don't look back.

I am of the opinion that they will never make that mistake again (not listing to us). Look at Vanguard and how they are doing everything the players vote for. Also, Smed outright apologized for the NGE (which if you think about it is amazing coming from a major corporation head).

That being said pics are not going to prove anything stroke the e-peen all day but you and I know this is the internet, it can be searched, downloaded and copyright infringe on a daily bases. Getting a pic of SWG pre-CU is like going to get the mail you know something is going to be in there.

My name is the same. Are you joking? I have litterally hundreds of pre-cu pics. Not to mention plenty of people who have been in this board for over 5 years who know me here and knew me in game back in 2003.

Here is a pic of my wife and I on the Bloodfin server back during pre-CU. We were in the Imperial guild VEA, which a friend of mine told me on the phone a couple months ago is still going 5 years strong. Anyone remember GeorgeW.Bush, the leader of VEA?

How old is your account?

It might only be for people who either pre-ordered the game during beta or who bought it in the first month or so.

If your account is from early last year maybe it IS open and just does not say so on SOE's website. Try logging in if you haven't.

I have a feeling SOE is going to buy up this game. Thats what they do you know. They wait until the company is near bankrupt and then they buy it for cheap. I predict FE will end up on the Station Pass.

Nope, $20.00 bucks for the complete adventures thing (not sure if the GameStop here has it any longer since I haven't gone there in months). I think it's BS that a new player can get the game plus all the expansions for 20 bucks, yet I have played for 5 years and they won't give me the Mustafar exp for free.

Also, Houston, Texas (where I am from, now living in East Texas) is the fourth largest city in the US. Some of you sound like you imagine Texas to be some kind of 'backwards' territory.
