what are you talkign about. The only people that couldnt log in today are those that didnt add there subscription info to there account.....

i disagree 100%. i think the launch was awesome!!! other then long queues which was expected, my game has been extremely stable and enjoyable!

1. theyve already played it.

2. Bioware made it easier to leave the starter worlds.

Its not bad, ut it could be alot better.


1. the can give you a wider rail boundary


2. make the animation movements better.


3. Intergrate it with Flashpoints or operations.

i agree. he is just trying to throw out some slander because he knows he is about to take a hit. Not to mention that this is the first game that may actually hurt his sales, well between SWTOR and Rift





 

well if its not for you, then its not for you, but be understood that this is a stress test beta weekend. Your not supposed to have good quality... but i would expect the performance to get better from one weekend to the next.

i think it will grow above launch numbers and here is why:

Granted i think that there will be alot of people who wont like the game... I know the ros and cons well.. I think still most peopel will play it because aboev anything else, it is fun to play. What will really keep them above water is the fact that they are going to make so much money off this launch that they will be able to Keep a large staff on which in turn will kick out product alot faster... 

wife and i have been in beta since August, and teh game has never been that bad at all. There have been tiems where story quests were broken, but it never stopped people from leveling because you can level from Clas quests, reg. quests, PVP, Warzones, Space combat, flashpoints, heroics, world boss kills.... FYI, ive never seen a game at launch have so much content.....

As far as end game is concerned. When you get to end game, u can use Hard mode on all flashpoints, which automatically bring the flashpoints to level 50 Also currenty there are nowhere near enough level 50's in beta to have a good experience with world PVP, especially in Illum, which is humongous by the way. That planet is atleast teh size of tatooine from SWG.

2.2m is too high. It will be over a million for sure. As of nov 12th there are 865,669 preorders for it. It hasn't updated yet and I assume it is over 900k. My guess is with the way numbers have been going 1.2m

Thats US and Box orders only, not digital downloads. last year downloads accounted for 40% of the mmo sales.... he could be right..

 

At this point, i have leveled trooperto 50, JC 28, and Jk to 36 
 
1. character creation: Sucky... but i think you guys already know that, lol.... i would really like to see more options. As it stands now. there is just too much clonage...
 
2.Music: Awesome... if you guys can only fix whatever bug is stopping the music from working sometimes, we would be in heaven.
 
3. Republic starter worlds. I like them both, but i really felt like there should have been more emphasis on getting LS/DS points.... Make more side quests change there endings due to LS/DS options and make the rewards reflect it. I can say i liked Ord mantel better then Tython. As much of a Jedi fan i am, i didnt feel like there was enough teaching about the force on that planet. needs more codex's about the what it means to be a Jedi on That planet.
 
4. social points, LS/DS points: I love the idea of them.. but i dont see the real benefits of them in game.. i dont see any vendors with a good options that really make me want to rack up social points. Same thing for Ls/DS points... The vendors are very poorly Stocked so i see no reason to focus on this other then by the way i want to play.
 
5.Class quests: Incredible... you guys outdid yourselves. granted i wasnt a fan of the consular class quests. but thats because im more of an action guys... So trooper and JK was awesome
 
6. Side quests: Really kind have the same feel about them that i did in the starter worlds questing. We need more LS/DS options and the loot should really have better reflections on blue and purple gear.
 
7. Planets. i loved them honestly
 
8. Space ship: love the interior of my Space ship, but i dont love the exterior. i think the jedi Ship is ugly, i think the trooper ship is pretty cool.
 
9. Space combat: Its ok... that the best i can see.... Its serves its purpose as something to do when you dont want to do ground combat.... but its very mediocre from a gameplay perspective. It needs more control over the ship while in between the rail.
 
10. Combat: overall i like combat alot, except for the ability queues.. my only concern is Melee vs ranged.... I leveled trooper first, then a JC, then a JK and i can say without a shout of a doubt, that the either the team that did jedi knight didn't really like melee classes or it was there first run, and there creative juices weren't flowing. I cant understand for the life of me why you guys built the guardian and Sentinel the way you have, especially the Sentinel.. Classes that iconic should be wreaking with iconic combat abilities and simple ways to close gaps from ranged classes... they should need to be micromanaged... Melee vs ranged.. very disappointing.
 
11. Flashpoints: they are half and half in my view. At 50, the flashpoints are awesome, but in between they get a bit mediocre. Flashpoints like Athiss, Hammer, are sad because they dont have the same social activity through story. what really hurts them is the Lack Of xp. i could level way faster by doing warzones then flash points.... And to be honest.... i don't see enough good loot dropping in them.
 
12. Warzones: They are fun, but i think voidstar has become an annoyance from the defender perspective. I also feel like they have the potential to give too much xp.
 
13. Vendors: i dispise them! Its the only thing in this game that truly upsets me. The vendor stock have no point to them. no good sorting, no full sets of gear, and all teh variety is for level 50 gear.. not happy about this at all.
 
14. Crafting anyone who knows me, knows that i am not a crafter...until this game! Im a huge fan of the crew skill system, and the crafting system. My only beef is that there aren't enough modifiable items..... Modifiable items are too scarce in my opinion.
 
15. Character customization: i feel the base of it is great... if you get modifiable gear you can really look how u want for as long as you want it, the problem is there isnt enough modifiable gear period. Im not sure if this is due to no one going hardcore on crafting, but i can say this.. at whatever level of performance crafting is being done in beta... there isnt enough modifiable items coming from it at all.. More then anything... there needs to be more variety in gear. As a level 20 jedi, i could only find 3 robes that i could wear and only one was moddifiable. that's not good at all. and im in Flashpoints, often.
 
16. Loot: i think loot can be distributed much better..... i dont feel like im getting anything good from it honestly. lets be real.. modded gear is where its at. people want that freedom and customization. So your loot drops and quests rewards should reflect this more!!
 
17. PVP: Open world PVP, for the most part, it is fun, but there needs to be more objective based open world pvp. Illum is not enough. It will get boring very fast.. tatooine is cool but its not objective based. Its just a big death match, lol[/COLOR]
 
18. UI: not a fan, but its doable.......
 
 
Overall im please with the game. i think you guys have made a base that will really make for an incredible game in the future. i do wish that there was a bit more innovation in teh core functions.. but im still pleased.
 
what i would like to see:
 
1. Space and ground flashpoints
2. co-op space
3. mini games
4. more RP activities (chat bubbles, sitting down, more movable emotes, option to make events)
5. player housing
6. customizable UI
7. PVP and crafting planetary control of the neutral Planets with perks
8. smuggling based off of planetary control
9. random NPc attacks on NPC cities

No wonder you didn't find much to do.  

 

i was going to say the same thing... maybe he just doesnt liek grouping.. or doing regular quests..  or space combat...well i can understand the space combat, lol...... to each his own.if the main things that attract you to a game dont work for you, then your not gonna like it no matter what.. but i have to say that this is the first game that ive played where i know there are so many different ways to level, that i dont even have to think about it.

this area is awesome.. whats craziest about it is that its even same faction pvp.... teh only people green on yoru screen are your teammates.

been using this thing for years.. cant play games without it, lol

if i understand correctly, tattoine is where you want to be then if your looking for some rvr...... In the dune see its literally same faction killing. the only people that are safe, are teh oens that are on your team.

Man 99% of early access will say they never seen the game as good as this. Just because it takes much more to understand is it good MMO or bad. SWTOR is pretty mainstream themepark MMORPG, so it's exactly what people want. At least at the first glance. So pre-orders won't drop drastically, if at all.

After my first 5 days in beta I was hooked as a 16 years old lad after sex with Megan Fox. And I'm an EVE and Darkfall freak...

gotta agree here. iw as teh same way when i played.... The game isnt for everyone, but it damn sur will be liked by alot.. my only scare is there progression on endgame... if they can keep the endgame on point, and add some extra stuff for players to do outside of combat thats engaging, well this will trully be a wow killer.
