Was shutting down SWG LA's biggest failure yet?
General Discussion « Star Wars Galaxies 4/21/12 9:14:22 AM
Originally posted by hipiap Get over it? I did. I no longer give SOE anymore money. Judging by the state of their MMOs I'd say I'm not the only one. Anyways, the title of the thread is "Was shutting down SWG LA's biggest failure yet?" That opens up other possible answers. |

Analysts predict just a 450k drop in Subs until Q1 2013.

Sorry, but I don't put much stock in "analysts." These are the same bozos that are always making economic and budget predictions for our government that always turn out being false. |

Did they just make healers and tanks irrelevant in PvP?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 4/19/12 2:39:55 PM
As a player that plays a tank, I say no. Granted, I'm a juggernaught and can't speak for the other tank specced classes as I haven't played them. But my juggernaught does really well in PVP. Far as the sorcerors go, the ones that I see that actually knew how to play their class are still having fun playing them. The ones pissed about the changes are angry because they can't faceroll people anymore, which is not what healers should be doing anyway. |

Bioware Level 50 restriction dropped

Reviews & Impressions « Star Wars: The Old Republic 4/19/12 1:16:18 PM
Glad that you are enjoying your time back, however I wouldn't be holding my breath on player housing or anything else that you like from SWG making an appearance in this game. Bioware has made it very clear that this is not going to be that type of game. Just saying. |

Did 1.2 make FPS performance worse?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 4/19/12 12:50:28 PM
I don't know what it was, but last night was really tough. I've had no problems with the game running on my computer up to now, but last night for some reason I got kicked off twice and suffered some lag spikes. I hope those new kinks got ironed out when I go home to play tonight. |

what was your favorite swg game moment
SWG Veteran Refuge « Star Wars Galaxies 4/19/12 12:16:09 PM
My favorite moments were bounty hunting. There's nothing like making a force sensitive pee his pants when one minute he's enjoying a chat in the Eisley Cantina and the next he's facing fire from two bounty hunters. And the hate tells were icing on the cake. :) |

Originally posted by Denambren Some of you guys have a very weird standard for failed MMOs. I guess all the people I see in fleet that are queing for Warzones along with all of us that group every week for operations missed the memo that TOR has failed and we should save our money for whatever MMO meets your guys high and mighty standards. What MMO out there should we all be playing? |

I agree. but I will have to say that it's always going to be easier going back and doing what you've already done. When you first play it, the game is fresh and new and you don't have your playstyle down pat yet.Once you've leveld up a main and go back with an alt, it's always easier because you're used to how the mobs work and you're more familiar with the game. I have three characters that started on Koriban and it was easier every time I did it and that was all before patch 1.2. |

Unfortunetly I lost all my SWG screenshots when I tossed my old computer. Had some nice screenshots of my bounty hunter kills as well as the hate tells that came after. Good times :) |
