The in-game guild option list many guilds that are recruiting, most guild are very helpful with many players that have low lvl alts that I'm sure will be more than willing to help you out in the dungeons. So join a guild, it's the best way to go in Vanguard. 

Both games are fine...VG now after it has had time to find its footing after the sad launch, it really has matured into a worthwhile PvE MMO and AoC is also a fine game that has had a better launch than VG for obvious reasons, I recommend both as fine games, simply because they are.

Body improvements are going in once update 5 is implemented.

Enjoying it a lot...the tempest will settle once GU4 is out and all are acclimatised…but it will heat up again as usual when GU5 is about to come out. VG players are an intellectual lot who love to express themselves. No need to get scared…just join in the fun and drama.  

Generally I'm impressed...the Kojani style looks amazing. Overall very pleased with the result.

Explains why there are more folks in the low lvl areas and the continents are buzzing with activity...good to hear.

AoC is a heavily PvP oriented game with a different playing style directed towards players that want that  particular style of gameplay...though AoC is turning out to be a great game it will unlikely be everyone's cup of tea.

I find the state of the game as stable with a healthy and steady influx of people who are staying. The guild I am in on the Halgar server has recently reached maximum recruits and is not taking in any new members for the foreseeable future if that is any indication. Travelling across the continents I encounter travellers, adventures, crafters and diplomats in most every place I visit, prior to December this was not the case. Many folks have returned and are pleased with the state of the game; also new people are joining at a steady rate and liking the challenge. Some are finding it difficult however due to the games complexity, but that is the games charm…some may like it – others won’t. Some people prefer playing a good game of chess, others a game of checkers.

For those who have not tried it yet and don’t want to invest economically yet, I’d recommend waiting for the free trial island to become available – which shouldn’t be too long in coming. Otherwise if you can’t wait, enjoy an intellectual challenge rather than being spoon fed…and you have a descent rig to run it, you should give it a try…you might find it very rewarding.
