Like I said theres only that issue of lack of players on the server to do stuff really, yea the bugs are annoying, the class balancing act has been delayed (good sign btw - shows Mythic listened to our issues with the 'healing nerf', now are testing the whole system without the 'nerf' for 1.06 ), but the main thing is the populution needs crustering from 50 servers to about 20 THATS finally happening.

For a 2 month old game facving off between two games expantions WAR is still doing well, all those heading back to MoM and WotLK, just pop back after Christmas when the final classes have been put back in (or new in the case of the Dwarf Slayers woot) and 1.1 hits, it's still got a lot of growing pains to go thru but at least this game isn't broken beond repaire. WAR is still a good alt choice.

Slayers have been confirmed that they are being added? Not sure if i will re-sub, but if they are, well its is tempting

Like somone else posted, I'm pretty much indifferent to the game now. I got to tier 3 on numerous toons, didn't setup a sub when my free trial ran out, as i found the game not what it was sold as...

I'd try changing your server, It wasn't until i found a good full server, that i really started to enjoy the game, up until then it was all a  bit meh.

I rolled a healer (runepriest) yesterday, and so far i'm having the most fun i've had in warhammer

Sure enough, things can get frantic keeping people alive, but its much more rewarding knowing you're actions have made the difference in winning battles, maybe your team wouldn't of won if you hadn't been there.

Oh and i get the occasional grief from tanks who don't know how to play there class, running into the opposing team on there lonesome...no amount of healing i can dish out is going to be enough to keep you alive

I think mythic said they weren't putting dwarf slayers into the game, i can't remember the reason why...but yeah I'd still love to have one

I think he meant the same thing as I mean.   I wanted to RvR, but i couldn't because there was nobody else in the area.   You either do PvE or you do Scenarios... it's not by choice. 

Exactly the problem i've got...Want to RvR, but where is everyone?!?!

Just wondered if anyone else has done this. You dont even have to wait for end game guild cities or gear to siege or sign up and wait for weekends and times to siege unlike other mmo's its 24 hours non stop.

 

I have seiged and defened keeps in T2 and T3 with our side being anywhere from 15-24 and once or twice 30.  And the other side having usually 50% higher at any given instance.  Except for one time we just put a huge zerg (for order with a low population, ie. 2 warbands) together in t2 and ran all over the place taking keeps and kill destruction.

 

I would not be playing on the server I play on if my guild and a couple other like minded guilds hadn't decided to take keeps.

 

I would have re-rolled to higher population.  If I hadn't played Open Beta I most likely would have quit.   If our guilds had not had the initiative every keep would be owned by destruction and they would have never encountered one ounce of resistance.  The fact that Destro can take all keeps with no opposition and has everything else easier combined with the fact that RvR would have been spotty at best and often dead at worst.

 

If I had not been on a full OB server I would have thought the game sucked and did not work right.  And once i hit T3 the huge increase in quest grinding required and lack of any other options would have driven me away.  No scenarios, PQs empty, destrcution swarms you 6 on 1 immediately in RvR.  Nothing to do but 1000 quests per level.  The best thing about WAR is the options.  On many servers there are no options and very little RvR.

 

Unfortunately Mythic wil not fix this in time and will lose many customers because of it.

Exactly what its like on the server i'm on...I'm sure I'll like the sieges etc.. if i  get a chance to do them

Didn't read thro the thread, but i have to AGREE with the OP.

I've got to r15 with my chosen, and while i was having fun to start, now i'm starting to tire of scenarios, which i have been mostly doing to level as i'm finding the pve lacking.

RvR i haven't had the chance to try, not from want of trying Maybe i'm just unlucky but evertime i head off to do some RVR, theres either no one there or its a gankfest.!

The PQ's are ok, but become stale very quick. TBH i bough this game for the RvR, maybe i will see more of that when i reach tier 3/4. Thats if i reach that tier before my first free month's trial expires. I'm in two minds to making a subscribtion (leaning towards no atm)

Glad to hear you enjoyed it I haven't had the chance to play myself, even though i did buy a pre-order box, there was no way i could dl the 10 gig on this poor internet connection

this game was on my must buy list a while back, never got around to getting it  though, maybe thats a good thing from what i've read on the forums.

torn between rolling a dwarf or a Orc, haven't decided which yet, maybe i will roll both!
