War, its such a let down from DaoC

I am so glad I did not buy this game after beta. I was hoping that it would get better over the next few months but now I think I just pass on it for good.

I did the return to war trial thing, the game still has major issues. I see no real reason to stay. this game has major design flaws  and no amount of window dressing is going to fix that. the game should be closed and reworked from the ground up and released in a year.

Its one of the main reasons I left War myself, I think I ended up changing servers 4 times  and still could not finsh public quests or find groups. after a while you just give up and do something else

I voted No becuase the art style did not appeal to me, its basic gameplay is sound  and  I am sure that will do ok overall.

I played WoW off and on since beta but i got bored with the  game and most all mmos this summer after I took a life drawing class. I spend my free time drawing and painting now. I have done 3 betas over the last two months but nothing has made me want to start playing again. I would like to find a game to play once or twice a week but nothing jumps out at me right now.

I think this review is spot on, at best I would give some of the games features an 7.5 to an 8. Overall though its lacking and a 6 to a 6.5 is what I would rate it

I hvae tried turning firewalls off, and closing down my antivirus , and I stll get booted out of the game about every 5 to 10 mintues

I think I will pass on this game , it looks ok but nothing new and the crashes just annoy me to no end

I am having the  same issues. My frist impression  is its not worth buying. I am starting to get very Jaded  where it comes to new games. If a game starts out with major issues I will just drop it and go do something else or back to whatever I had been playing

You will need to have a key

The chances that we will see a true DaoC 2 are slim to none, but its nice to dream!

I played DaoC on and off for the last 7 years, so yes I would love to try a DaoC 2 . I finally quit about 3 months ago, I just got tried of waiting for Mythic to do something with it.

I enjoyed the beta but have decided to wait  a few months or more before playing. I think many of the issues folks had with the game will be worked out by Christmas. Till then I will just follow the game forums to see how things progress. I am sure that they will have a free trial sometime next spring and that might be the time to start.

I was expecting Champions to be a super COH and its not, they have a lot of things in common, but Champions is its own game and has its good points and bad.

the barrens, I always level my horde toons there.

I played for a few hours this morning, I enjoy the combat, but the cel shading is not my thing, its ok but very bland. I will give it the rest of the week but I am leaning towards not buying it.

they posted a fix, but it hasnt worked very well for most of us who tried it, and there website keeps going down as well.

For me the game just wasnt that much fun, I played almost every class to to the low 20's trying to find a good fit for me and ended up likeing none of them. It really did feel like a single player game  90% of the time.

Fallen earth is not seemless by any means, it does have instances.

I dont raid becuase of time, I dont enjoy sitting at my computer for hours on end doing any game be it online or offline. The most time I will send in game these days is 45 min to an hour and a half. Past that I have other things to do, play with my kids, read a book, work in my garden, go for a hike and so on.

There was a time a few years ago I did raid and I would stay up late after the family was asleep but after  not getting enough sleep the rest of my life began to suffer and games quickly lost thier shine  for me.

I dont envy raiders thier uber loot after all the cost they paid for it in time is way to costly for me.

What if you could break raiding up into smaller chunks, like an hour here and hour there, even extend the reset timers so that you could complete a single raid over multiple weeks and multiple but much shorter play sessions?

That would be an idea I could go for
