I am not sure where this talk about broadband getting slower. Comcast keeps making my line faster every year for the same price. As far as Broadband penetration, have you ever seen the size of America? Obviously much easier in Japan to give it to everyone when they live a country the size of Texas. |

Hate to break it to you, but this game came out in 1999. You are years behind. I do hope you find joy in it though, because I did from 99-03. I just think you might find it difficult to accomplish what you are looking for. |

Looks meh. Watched a panda bear(??) wizard cast fireballs over and over and over. Then watched another video of a guy with a sword that was taller than him swing aimlessly. |

Come on now. Roleplaying a king? Well then I guess we shuold also have Civilization on here too. OH and Battlefield 1942 too. Its multi player and I can RPG a soldier. I mean come on! |

This looks like every other Shaiya, Aion, L2, etc etc game. It should be F2P or it wil fail big time here. There are too many games coming out like it that are F2P. Other than that crazy AOE targeting system, there is nothing new to see here, Another yawnable fantasy asian game. Move along...

I think this game will get bigger and not smaller like others. The hype was so low that people are now learning. I beta tested this game and didn't like it cause of the setting. I just purchased it and am downloading as I type this. I just need some sandboxy. |

I signed up beta the first day you could do so. I have yet to receive a beta invite. If they need people so bad, then invite some people other than those who plunk down pre-order money. Thats why I refuse to pre-order games. |

Aion has +/- 5 million subs vs LOTROs 200k. I don't think they are really close. |

EQ never led you around to quest hubs by the hand like everything does now days. Other than my epic quest, I never worked on any quests in EQ. |

They most certainly will not use VG for anything like that. They need the lore and appeal of Norrath and its world to make a big splash. |

Everquest by far and away. Thousands of hours logged over many years. No MMO has held my attention for more than a few months since.
Favorite RPG of all time: Anyone remember Pool of Radiance (AD&D) . I played it on a C64 but it was available on other systems. |

Can anyone please explain how a game like Aion with 4 million + subs is a FAIL? I am missing some logic here? I do not understand.... |

Again the game has +/- 4 million subs in Asia. They didn't take those from WAR or AoC. They took them from WoW. Even if they hold 500k here in NA those will come from WoW and not many from the other games. Cripes AoC only has 75k or so subs and I doubt they are going to get 100%. |
