no idea of the nda rules...i just heard that they went out and I was curious if anyone had heard the same thing....not necessarily if they themselves have gotten an invite, just maybe they heard that it was true.

Did anyone get a beta invite to stargate friends and family beta? ...I heard that some may, just trying to confirm it.

Its a dell and it is almost 3 years old.

How do I know if it is 2.0 complaint?

My hard drive is kind of full and I was thinking about going to grab an external hard drive to put AoC on and play it from there....can I do that?

I'll come back to play when I get my letter of apology and a check for $50.00 from mcquaid.

This is a good game that got put out by a terrible team.  I think that VSoH HAD the opportunity to be a great game and it failed...Does that mean that some might still enjoy it, yeah sure.  But bottom line is that it is full of false promises and the things that have been put in were implemented poorly. 

I, honestly, wanted nothing more than for this game to pwn all other mmorpgs.  I played from first day of beta to 1 max level cleric and many other toons through their 30's....on all types of servers.  This game has been given every chance I could possibly give it then I gave it one more.  It, for me, is an EXTREME let down.  I would in all honesty give this game a 3 out of 10.  The only major props I can give it is graphics, it looks good.

I played alb/guin for a long time.  I had a ton of toons...Tymana, xollo (and other forms of the same name) jinxu (other forms of this name)...I am sure I had tons more, but I can't remember off-hand.

Anyone that feels bad that this game has failed...don't.  I played the beta and it was a terrible game.  Just be happy that you didn't waste your money on it at release.  Although Perpetual failed (hard) and lost money, atleast they had the common curtesy to halt the project and inform the general public that this game wasn't going to happen.... I mean they could of just as easy pulled a "mcquaid" and promised a whole bunch of stuff that wasn't going to happen and released a product that wasn't finished just to steal our money.  

I say   to perpetual for doing the right thing and keeping their good name alive.  Although I am not interested in the Star Trek game ...if I was I would give it a try because the company was honest to the public and didn't hose us for money.

PS:  To brad mcquaid...you owe me $50.00.

I understand they are very different types of games but it is all time I believe.  If it were just computer platform I would kick mario for EQ.

Hell yeah!  I am going to buy this one no matter what, so why do I care when I pay for it?  The bonus of getting to test the game before it comes out would just be a bonus.  I have been in a lot of beta's now and I feel that the WAR beta will be very ready and fun to play instead of a disaster like most beta's.  I understand that beta's are supposed to be just that, beta, but some games you can tell are ready and some aren't.

WAR = ownage of MMORPGs

Just trying to bump this up...sorry.  I really want to know how i can find out about some video game events that are coming anywhere near South florida.  I have checked on the net (google) and can't get anything of substance.

I am absolutely going to make a buff bot account if possible.  I am not sure how the buffs will work though, concentration based or timer.  If they are on a timer i will rethink my stance on starting up with 2 accounts.  I usually like to play a buff bot as well when i am bored or just feel like helping out some guildies or lowbies.  It is mindless fun to just buff people up and chat while they grind away.  Either way (2 accounts or 1) i will have a buffer class for sure. 

I do hope that they do it like DAoC, I love my buff bot on my one account, she is my most 'decked' out toon I have ever made.  I started off just thinking I would "/stick" her to a main then i realized i liked playing her.  I think playing one, or a healer, is a great way to get to know a game or a good introduction to mmorpg's in general.  You always can find a group and you learn about every class from standing back and observing.

I think it will be pretty much 50 50.  I usually find myself with the "good" side so to speak.  That said, I am pretty sure I am going to change gears and hit up the "evil" side this time.  I think it just comes down to preference and I think that will be about 50% on both sides give or take a couple percent here and there. 

Different times of days and different servers will tell different stories for which side appears stronger as well.

I am wondering if anyone had a good website that listed all of the major video game expos that take place?  I know of some, but I am mainly looking for something in the southern states.  I live all the way down in south Florida and don't hear of anything in the area and would really like to.  So if anyone knows of some events in south florida or just a website with a list of whats going on where, I would greatly appreciate it.

Personally it is between AoC and WAR.   Since they will come out atleast 3 months from each other I will play AoC til WAR, then try WAR....then make a decision. 

Darkfall isn't coming out anytime soon if ever......although it looks good, but by the time it comes out it will be the norm.

Tabula rasa is not for me but sounds and looks good. 

Potbs looks like trash imo.
