Why would I want to try a class that is an exact replica of another races class?

They use the excuse it's easier to balance that way, but we all know that is shit answer.

That guild stunk awful in DAoC.

I canceled my WAR accounts.  I found the game borring. Nothing like taking empty keeps and no action. Scenarios are crap and get old real fast.

 

The whole thing is down even the website. It will not even send me my confirmation e-mail.

 

 

 

Tone infantry down before the game dies completely.

 I hate being spawn camped in the towns after we take new spawns. The learning curve is great , I like the challenge , I just get frustrated is all as a new player.

Next they will have to cluster the servers because of the steady loss of subscribers.

A city takes alot more people than what normally constitutes a grind.  Not to mention grind means you can do it over and over again easily and back to back which is not and has never been the case with City Sieges.

I do how ever agree that WAR has grinds like any other game.  MMOS regardless of level base, point based, open world whatever all have grinds.  MMOS are Grinds period anyone who thinks there is some mythical game formula for MMOs that makes it non grind is .. quite frankly ... stupid. 

Level Based = Grind

Gear Base = Grind

Open World UO type game  = Grind

All MMOs (repeats) have some sort of grind.


 

WAR is losing subscribers by the 1000's every day.

Somthing better be looked at and fixed. Most of these people are leaving because they are sick and tired of the same ole scenarios and PQ's. Having gear that everyone else has and looks like is getting old as well.

I can RVR naked I have proof from my 2001 naked Bedlam screenies from DAoC.So don't even attempt to say "I lack RVR skills because I want more gear to mix and match with", I have been in the best guild in DAoC for over 7 years and WAR.

Raiding empty keeps is boring.

Open RvR needs to provide the best gear in the game and that gear must make a difference. The more epic the open RvR encounter the better the gear must be. And such gear must make a difference in the game mechanics.

Mythic has made alot of bad game design choices but all of that would have been tolerated much longer by many more if they had the carrot of awesome gear on the horizon. Instead, there was no such carrot and so people scratched their head saying why should I endure this when there is no point (meaning there is no gear).

People that returning to WOW are going back because they know they can gear cool gear. Its as simple as that.

Everything you said about gear sums up perfectly why I quit wow and will NEVER go back.  I dont have the time, or desire to farm gear for hours and days upon end.  I want to play and enjoy the game and jump right into the fight.   I have a job, I have a girlfriend, my game time is limited.  WAR fits in perfectly with my playsrtyle and I love the pvp, the classes, the races and the two factions.  Cant wait for future patches and expansions.  Have fun doing the wow grind for the next 10 levels, its just not for me.

Sick and tired of Scenarios already...  This is what happens when you dumb down MMORPGS for the casual players, you end up with some bland repetitive PVE and PVP.

 

I am in a great guild with 120 members and good leaders. I have 2 lvl 40's and I find it very borring and haven't been logging in lately except for a few mins. I didn't expect a complete game content wise . I did however,  expect PQ's and Scenarios to NOT be so freaking repitive and borring. Crafting is a joke and lacks any real arm grabbing content.

 

 

HEY!  Lets go siege and take some empty KEEPS!!!

 

There is not much to look forward to with WAR...  I'll go back to Beta testing Stargate Worlds and Star Trek O.

Nope they were not on follow at anytime ,they just had nothing but overpowered Am's played by people.

Saw a guild named Hello Kitty

Just ran into some at lvl 21 ,we have 10 people and a good mix of builds and classes. They are unbeatable.

They are impossible to beat. I fraps'd it and its otw to Mythic as of right now.

was the best?
