Well there is this one games, about Heroes in a City. Perhaps you have heard of it?

And there was this game called... What was it? Ryzom? Came out years before the Heroes of City one did?

While The Saga Of Ryzom did implement a quest making system, it was a very poor attempt. I dont know how it is now but the player actually needed to be online that created the quest. Then u needed to be grouped with him. So, as far as i know. City of heroes was the first to come out with it. Then SWG. Still i dont care what game implements it, it widens the player content.

well one good thing is it isnt based on first come first beta key. They keys will be giving out im sure at random to various computer types and locations.

I would move your characters before you cancel. Your characters will be deleted, if im not mistaken, if you dont transfer.

Yes this is the model for evey mmo out there where you pay to play. If you pay 14.95 on the 1st, and cancel on the 2nd, you play your entire month.

WE are actually the most hated characters. Again i will state that this isnt a 1 on 1 game.

PS you cant twink characters in this game. This is due in part to 1. You gain xp for killing people which makes u level and 2. you are viable in each zone at any level due in part to bolster. If you are level 1 and enter a pvp area you are bolstered to level 8of 11 for teir 1. T2 is bolsered to18  t3 is 28 and t4 is 38.

This keeps you high enough level to pvp without being destoryed. Its not just more health and a level, your skills are actually increased to that levels damage.

Again i agree low level content is ad due in part to 1- no free trial and 2- no people re rolling new characters.

I have a level 40 WH and it is crazy easy to kill anything so long as u know what you are doing. If you picked a WH because you played a WOW Rogue and expect to sneak attack someone and kill them in 2 hits... this class is not for you.

WH dont have alot of armor, but we do get a skill called "Get Thee Behind Me!" which reduces out damage taken by 50% for 15 sec and the refresh on this is 30 sec. So half the time if u keep an eye on the skilla s i do u take 50% damage 50% of the time.

Another skill you should use is called "Silence The Heretic" this does 225+ damage and stops casters from being able to cast for 3 sec. This is a nasty skill to use on a healer use this after you have shot them with "Blessed Bullets Of Confession" which will reduce their ability to heal by 50% and its game over for a healer.

I dont know what level you are cause you fail to state that, but what i will say is take a look at your Master Paths and find a good combo. http://www.wardb.com has great character tools for all classes and it will help u alot. When it comes to stats i went Weapon skill and strength. Weapons kill ignores armor and increases your parry, and strength ups your damage. I currently have 553 weapons kill, this increases my parry by 11% and ignores 45% of my enemies armor.

Also at level 36 and 37 you go on epic quests which gives you 2 kick @$$ weapons. 1 called the Ironwind. This sword has a chance to proc (so far i find it procs 25-35%) for an additional 300 damage on top of your current skill or auto attack. And yes it does proc on normal attacks. I would use scrolling combat text add on from curse and u will see it, an time u see 300 pop up it was the proc and the proc is called "Concusion IX".

The second item i got from the other epic was a Pistol called "Justice". Same proc rate (25%-35%) which removed -800 armor from target for 10 sec. That is crazy! Not only do i ignore 45% armor already due to weapon skill but then i can remove -800 more! Thats a huge amount. look at how much you have at level 36 no matter the class, minus 45% of your armor, then remove 800 armor points more, i can garuntee your hitting them -75% or more if not removed all armor.

All i can say is learn to play your character. People in my guild cheer when they hear me coming. Do i still die... of course! Do i take out 3-4 before i do so... most of the time yes! And also please remember that this is not a solo pvp game, this game was created for group pvp not solo. So please take this info into consideration and do more home work on a class. There is not a useless class in this game, and they al have their weaknesses. But each classes weakness is made up by another class, which is why ill say it again, this is a group pvp game.

Ps - To those WH splitting builds between Blastics and Strength. Please stop :) you only get a bonus to maybe 5 skills which are your 4 executions and your normal ranged attack. the rest is all melee, so ignore balistics, balistics is more of an enginer thing.

i regesterd an account at game n game .com, i then log into the asda site useing that account. i then click where it sayd click here to play and nothing happens.

Ive been trying for a few days now to create an account and have yet to be able to log in.

I created an account at the website and downloaded the client but i have no ID to log in with. I have tried my email address i used to regester since it says its my id but it is to long to fit in the area provided.

Any ideas or help would be nice :)

If you enjoy the game now, bully for you, but don't tell me what I should and should not get over. You're effectively, knowingly playing the equivelent of stolen goods and IMO that makes you no better the theives who "stole" it.

That's the main problem right there... there's maybe one game here worth playing. Sorry to say, SOE games just suck. But to be fair, I'm not playing anything at the moment because just about everything out there right now sucks... or at least I should say, not the game(s) for me.

See above for my comments on your SOE game break down.

Now as far as buying the game on left side of the store goto the bottom where it says Digital download and click Starwars, 29.99 for all the expansions or 24.99 for TooW and or RotW.

that is if your on a pvp server. Try a free for all game and see how you like that pvp. If your also good at pvp and think your awesome and the best at it try RF Online. Youll get owned hard. LOL youa ctually think wow is good for pvp..... dream on.

You and i have talked about this before and i know you ahve tried it. Honestly though with a few minor keymaps its the same game except you can now instantly play a jedi.

 

My next question is what happens theoretically speaking the KOTOR Online does come out in 2010, and its worse than NGE. And the game sucks. I mean yes BIOWARE is a great company. But if everything proves true, Jedi will be a starting class. And then most people will be so hung up on SWG style of play that everyone will be demanding BIOWARE release classic servers.

SWG didnt copy wow, WOW is the biggest SOE rip off there is, ever hear of Everquest? And i actually find wow to be a subpar game based on everyone is identicle and will be the same in end game. Im sure you will state the simularities between wow and SWG for me but before you do go look at other game with those same simularities that came out before WOW did. then you will see wow is a clone its self.

I say the way that vehicles were brought in were a bad not the vehicles themselves. In the sense they shouldnt be as fast as they are. I think mobs should be more responsive to those who are on bikes. and so on.

If mobs reacted more to vehicles and vehicles were slower than they are make them say 50-80% faster than running it would bring back that feel.
