I never play a game without first trying it in a free trial or beta before launch. I have been burned to many times to trust what is being said or shown. Id much rather get into a beta make my voice heard then also get a feel for if i want to play it or not.

I have been following this game since roumors where coming out of Austin and people where grabbing stuff from biowares garbage.  I have been waiting and watching and I'm quite pleased with this game and how it looks and plays.

Soon I will be enjoying this game with many others StarWars fans in Galaxy far far away from these negative fourms.

From all I've seen the Game is going to do well and have a very good fan base.

Sorry but there's nothing that can be done about that. This site is notorious for being filled with negative nancies who get all hot and bothered that the newest game isn't being catered to them. They haven't realized that the industry has changed since 2004 and players will no longer tolerate boring and tedious grind fests. So anything about this game no matter how small and insignificant  is going to get blown out of proportion. It doesn't matter that this game looks to be leaps and bounds better than any game from the past and is moving the genre to something more interesting. They don't care about voice overs, they don't care about player choice that affects your character and dismiss everything else that is bigger or better than what came before it. They are  like the old fans of silent pictures who fought tooth and nail to stop sound from getting into movies. Some people are just afraid of progress.

This game has really good graphics, but the Asthetics is AMAZING!

This proccess works alot like Amazon.com and google checkout. It might look like the vendros website but its really another site. In this case, its your banks own authentication.

When i pay a bill online using bank of america check card they actually pop-up a secure window directly from BOA to authenticate my info and then send the authentication code to the site, for example, Verizon Wireless.

The only information stored on Sony's server is a hash encryption of the banks authentication code to SOE.

Neither one are as good. look at specs. Not to mention they lack the software that allows great control over your headset.

1st one, I paid $99 for my wow wirless headset. Why would i pay for these at roughly same price. The ear peices dont fit over the ears 100% and the mic isnt detachable. The wireless doggle is large and has more wires.

2nd one. Same issues as the first. Its not over the ears. Mic isnt detachable.

The speacker size or driver size of the WoW headset is also larger than both.

To be honest im suprised your having these issues. Mine turn off after 3 mins of no sound. As far as laying them down the earpeices turn to allow a flat lay. Also as far as them breaking when your friend dropped them... well dont drop them.

Try and make sure you have the newest drivers installed.

Make sure to write down your authenticator code. If you do this you can wipe your authenticator much easier. Past that what i do is simply have a physical authenticator and move from my mobile one to my physical when i quit. So i ca remove the mobile one without fear and my wow account stays happy.

Apple has had big issues in the past with programs. The biggest one everyone is having problems with is Pandora. They sell your information widley known.

Past the apps that the Android Market has removed in its latest programs that were thought to have been malicious in nature the Android Market is way better than the App Store anyday.

Fact is both have had issues with certian apps being bad, the only reason u hear about android is because they are open source and open to the news about what they are doing.

LOL first time i have heard of to many quests being a problem.... Dont think it has that many. Take a chill, go pvp some levels up, or rift some levels up. You do have options.

I highly doubt that. The developers even admitted to it several times. Doing fortresses meant 5 fps and 5k+ ping, thats why they took them out of the game completely and permanently.

With the exception of fortresses you are right. That said, overall i dont get bad performance.

Its related to the FPS your system is putting out for it, and the DPI on your mouse.

As long as you have a mouse thats over 2000dpi (thats pretty standard now for entry level mice that can be used for gaming) and your FPS stay around 50+ you should not get hardly any notitcable lag at all.

Even if you have a 5800 DPI mouse you would still lag if your FPS drops below 50. And if your mouse if below 2000dpi do yourelf a favour and upgrade. Get a DPI switching mouse if you like the way it currently handles in other games and don't want to have to "relearn" he handling.

 

But saying all that, the game is still very menu driven. I have mapped the keyboard as well as possible. But it just feels natural on a gamepad - sadly so, as I realy don't like consol gaming. If you have played any of the PS2 FF's you will know how controls work almot straight away.

Again But, it was nice being able to step away from my PC and "occasionally" sit on Sofa and play it on 42" TV

 

I feel like im playing Last Remnant again, but that did keep me going to the end - even with a pad!

 Actually turn off Ambient Occlusion. This will solve the mouse lag.

The Controller is by far the better option and will indeed set a new standard on how other games think about incorperating it into future games. It also depends on the game on whether you should use keyboard mouse.

WEll i retract my last statment... if your crim and thought the NL-9 was bad you will hate the CCG now. Its worse than the Fin nl9 was it is no joke that all Enforcers are runnign with it. Game is a joke every time they fix something they break it again.

Yes, yes it was. It was a huge success. It had a HORRIBLE launch but the brand name pulled it through. The subs started dipping around 2004 or 5, so they tried the NGE and just made the whole thing collapse. 

 

No, it was not. The *game* itself may have been improving, but the sub numbers were *not*. Again, the number being thrown around at the time of the NGE was 200k. That is FAR less than expectations.

 200k is a big number there lol. Granted not wow good but wow is an exception.
