The 7770 is a good card for $100, however I would look into a 7850, you can get one with rebates for around $150 but it comes with 2 games currently that can sell for about 20-30 each without issue.

Ah I didn't know that about the OS.  I should have figured it wouldn't be that easy, after all you could just switch them around infinitely otherwise. 

I have DDR2, but I just remembered I'm waiting for some bids for DDR3 on ebay.  I'm not sure I trust ebay over newegg, etc., but the sellers have high ratings.  The PSU is a Rosewill 450w.  I'd imagine that's enough, but if I have to buy a new one, they won't break the bank.

But yeah.. I'm thinking more about the 7850 now.  Might as well go all out, as it were.  I mean I know there are better cards, but the odds of me ever spending upwards of 200 bucks on one aren't likely.

I'm assuming its a low end Rosewill PSU, if you're going to use anything above 7770 then you'd want to upgrade it aswell. Also don't buy PC parts off of ebay as most warranties are not transferable.

DDR2 memory is near useless for any modern system.

What kind of budget are you looking at, I just posted a build for someone that is in the $700 range not including rebates and games.

Total with discounts is $598 unless you live in TN/CA/NJ. This doesn't include the $45 in rebate or the two new games. Also this does not include an OS, that is $100 oddly there are no deals right now. So you can spend $700 now, get rebate money and sell the games. Also I'd prefer an SSD but fitting one into your budget is tight unless you want to make sacrifices.

Now deals change all the time these prices are likely to change within 1-2 days. Sometimes better or worse comes along.

I remember being a puller in FFXI on my ranger.. was fun and took alot of skill then. WoW had hunters for primarly pulling until wrath then it just turn into tank charges in and shit gets aoe'd killed.

Alot of new and returning players with MoP.

All I know is that on my server, stormwind has more people in it than most games have subs.
