I paid full price for it at release and enjoyed it a lot... It's a bit short but i think it's worth the price if you enjoy Hitman serie.

[Column] World of Warcraft: The Best WoW Versions
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 9/21/12 2:51:35 PM
4.CATA (came back for two months) 3.WOTLK (made me quit) 2.Vanilla 1.BC
The raids and dungeons were really good in both Vanilla and BC. It became too easy in WOTLK and classes and stats started to changed a lot and i could not enjoy the game anymore after that. |

i'd say yes it is the wrong class if you want pure damage.

A lot of dynamic events don't appear on the map, you will trigger more by exploring areas. Also, i recommend doing some crafting, gathering, do the skill points challenges when you see them, find all the binding points, the points of interest, etc. I'm level 11 and i'm doing level 8-9 quest at the moment.

Seriously, i thought i was bored of MMOs but i just can't stop playing The Secret World. I played like 15 hours yesterday and the last time i did that was in vanilla Wow. I REALLY like this game! |

Will you be subscribing after the first month?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/23/11 7:54:08 PM
YES! I will be subscribing, i'm really enjoying the game.

I'm only level 28 so i can't speak for endgame, but i'm pretty sure i heard them say there was an endgame planet created for the solo players too with quests, dailies, etc. There are like 15 heroics dungeons, two raids, PVP zones and BGs, find the datacrons if you haven't while leveling, probably factions grind, crafting, etc. so there is plenty to do. |

I can play and i don't have my email yet, start the launcher and you might be able to play |

yes, if you sub you will get all the features without spending Turbine points, except the expansion packs and you'll get free points each month if you sub. The game is very solo friendly but you'll have some group quests and the game has a lot of dungeons. It's been almost a year since i played so i can't say if it's going to be easy finding group these days. |

When was the last time you were awed by a game?
General Gaming « General Discussion 7/05/11 3:57:45 PM
The last time i was awed by a game was on my Playstation 1 system for single player games. I used to buy any console with a Final Fantasy game on it since i was a huge fan and the Pplaystation 1 was THE system for RPGs (and the SNES of course). MMO wise, it was Wow in 2004-2005 back in vanilla and recently i'm really addicted to Terraria lol. I bought it last thursday and i have played about 40h since then. |

The fates don't want me to come back to this game...
General Discussion « Aion 6/07/11 6:15:19 AM
Yeah, i came back yesterday and had the same problem, i knew my password but was probably hacked or something and couldn't access my account anymore. I decided to give the trial a try but the download was so slow it would've took 2 days. I bought the game on steam in the past so i downloaded the game on it and it took like an hour and a half. You should try to download the game on another website since their downloader is ridiculous. |
|
|
Yes the game is a constant battle, but you can craft, relax, chat, etc in Meridian (defiant city) or sanctum (guardian city) |
|

Gold spamming is ok, i get a mail or two sometime and i saw maybe 2 spams in chat. You can easily solo all the way up...there are a few group quests. You can join group for Rift and invasion in a zone in a simple click. You press ''Join public group'' and youre set. You can do instances, Rifts/invasion, Warfront and quests while leveling and you can switch between them easily. They all give experience too. My favorite games were WOW ( played for 5 years) and GW (1 year) too and i'm loving Rift. I will suscribe when the initial 30 days is finished. I recommend this game. |

All the US servers were full last night and had 1 or more hour que. Trion added like 23 servers yesterday and when i stopped around 12pm EST, they were still full except maybe 6 that were High population. I think they did a wonderful job , people were complaining about server que but i played pretty much all MMO at launch and Rift was very good performance wise as well as how they handle everything. The only bad thing i could say is that they should've created more starting zones because everyone was doing the same quests.
The download is fast, took me about an hour and a half.. |
|
Originally posted by Mortemia Yeah, i played both factions up to 20 and 24 and the Defiant's starter zone is better in my opinion, but i prefered Silverwood over Freemarch later. |

I'm Sentinel/Warden/Purifier, my plan was to put more point into sentinel, but i discovered that my play style was leaning more toward the warden class. I was level 24 so that might change but i like the choices offered in the soul trees and i'm always wondering where i should put my points because i want everything. |
|
|
I started with the cabalist class too and until you get the purifier shield (if you take this class), the survivability is quite hard. I didn't like the starting areas because you move from camp to camps really fast and i like to stick around a town a bit and enjoy the scenery. When i reached Argent Glade and Sanctum and invasions/Rift started, then i really started to enjoy the game. You get more spells for your class, you run instances, do rifts, craft, etc. |

Rift: The Dungeon Finder Brouhaha
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 2/17/11 11:42:57 AM
I agree that a ''server only'' Dungeon finder would be the way to go because of the way people leave group in Wow. |

Rift: The Dungeon Finder Brouhaha
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 2/17/11 11:39:47 AM
Originally posted by carrie01 I ran Realm of the Fae this morning and me an a friend spammed L3M DPS/Support for ROTF. People whispered ''invite me, i'm X class''. The only moment we socialized was when people whispered us to get into the group. We ran the whole thing without saying anything except the strats for the bosses...so i don't see how different it is from grouping with the dungeon finder.... The only bad thing i see with a dungeon finder is that people tend to stay in major cities and click ''Queue for X dungeon''. But i think it would be better in this game because people will have to move to do the rifts and get gears. |
