I love swtor to bits and its been alot of fun for me but also alot of frustration. My biggest bug bear is the lack of effort thats gone into the various classes armour sets. Quite frankly the artists who designed them should be publicly flogged for some of the travestys they have produced. Prime example is the inquisitor end gane set. My inquisitor looks like a cross between a drag artist and  a las vegas showgirl with pink flmingo feathers coming out their arse. what on earth where they thinking.

I seriously hope they are adding new armour sets to the game going forward.  Its such a disappint ment to get to the level cap and see these monstrous creations.

Bah still no invite, would of been in by now if these clowns hadnt screwed up my early access code. Now i am forced to go on the lash with my fire crew mates to the dog track for our shift xmas night out so theres always a silver lining 8)

Just a quick question to anyone who knows this, are the names u can choose only specific to that server ie, if you choose a name already taken on ANOTHER server is that name still available on the one u want to play on?

Also when u create aname can it be a combinaiton of two words or is it only one?

Thanks for the suggestions i went ahead with making a new account , the pre order code game gave me went in ok so i entered my standard edition product registration code and its all gone in smoothly.

I just hope none of u have any account issues cos they are an absolue nightmare to deal with - make sure u make a note of your account details and security words etc

I know their customer support is staggeringly bad. If you dont have any issues then it is farly smooth however god help u if u have an account issue.

Thanks for the suggesitons guys tried them al and the only number that works os the 0203 number which is chargeable and just get a message saying call back later anyway. Theres got to be an 0800 fre number.

That did cross my mind to make a new account but then i wont get the pre order items as the code is already registered

YeS but what am i meant to dial from within the UK ? is it an 0800 number? whats the bit on the end saying 8000 bioware? thats what im trying to get at.

I have no idea where they drahhed this shower form but frankly the support so far is awful.

I have been unable to preload the game as after I entered my preorder code it seemed to accept it howeber it doesnt show up in my code history nor is the pre load option available. I thought it might have been a bad code so contacted the support. After been stonewalled at every turn, 14 emails later i was no further forward so i went back to Game Uk who within 2 minutes of me calling them gave me another pre order code. I try this and i get an error 'You already have the game and items associated with this Product Registration Code' which oibviously shows its my account thats the problem not the code.

I have since tried the telephone numbers on the support site well aware i will probably be in a huge queue however i just get a dead line signal. I dont even know what the UK number is supposed to be , is it 0800 0246 9274?? Can someone confirm what number im meant to ring as whats written below means nothing to me.

I have jjust ordered the MSI GT780 DX from the US (its over £600 cheaper from US than the UK  even after import duty and shipping and comes with the backlit keyboard which the uk model doesnt) after a friend bought one. They are retailing at $1549 from BTOTech and they have an excellent reputation and very fast fulfilment times. Works out £1280 for a good gamin laptop and u get far better bang for your buck than an alienware. The sounds system , keyboard and the matte finish screen are a sight to behold.

No disrespect to anyone but its getting a little tiring reading all these 'im not playing' , 'the game is rubbish' blah blah. Whatever anyone thinks of the game is personal opinion , its subjective.

If i dont like a game after playing it i just move on and forget it . I wouldnt bother haning around in the said game forum posting negative comments about it every chance  i get.

Why people feel the need to go and rip the game is beyond me , Noone cares,  if anything its just less lag on opening day. As my esteemed colleague puts it aove Good bye  and dont let the door hit u on the way out.

Thoughts?

 I dont think you will see any difference upgrading your video card in this game. I use the radeon 5870 which is still an excellent top end card. I havent played SWTOR but i play skyrim on ultra with all the options cranked up and i get bautiful performance and the graphics on SWTOR dont look like theyre as sophisticated as Skyrim.
