In all fairness to op it is lacking any other chat mediums ie no zone , advice , lfg which would help considerably trying to find groupsor for passing intel on rvr attacks. When i first started i had like a million questions and non one to ask until i managed to find a guild

At the moment corruption as u can get massive damage output even form a sword and board without sacrificing survivability  however i have a feeling the damage on tanks wil be adjusted down (read nerfed) in the near future.  Ican take down 2h wielding chosen on my wh with not too many problems however most of the time i will lose to s corruption specced one.

I only played wp and indeed a dok to 11 howerever i have to say i found them one of the easier classes to play certainly compared to WH lol - then again i dont think im very good at games.  They do seem a pretty solid class though and its always good to see them in tier 4 groups although sadly theres not many

I have to say i do agree with quite alot of the op post , having dinged 40 on my WH and taken part in alot of pvp on the way i  cant help feeling a little disappointed in the pvp system.  The op does have a point in that it does pretty much boil down to numbers. Tactics can and do make a difference where the numbers are more finely balanced but so far it has been about numbers.  My other issue is the population imbalance again.  Esoecually at high end we are considerably outnumbered on my server and form what ive read and spoken to people is common through alot of the servers.  Maybe when they add the empire tank class back in things might even up a bit but by then the damage may be done and peeps will get sick and leave.

Btw im on the Euro realm so cant say what its like on the us servers

as for mythic daoc, quite frankly i think its dying on its arse now. Im on my last day of subs on classic and its just a bit dull now on the pvp side. The battlegorunds are getting more and more quiet and end game its the die hards that are still playing so to compete u have to be a very high rank to even have a look in. You also need to have some very good gear and actually getting groups for it is extremely dificult.

Maybe origins will change it however i think it will kill the other servers stone dead to be honest either that or WAR.

Reason more people dont play it is cos mythic completely borked the class balancing with the catacombs characters for one and also the way it went made it gear dependant and or on a bot (non classic of course)

As far as im aware all  the races will be in origins just not all the classes - (see previous post for list) but i might be wrong.

Im a  little worried on how the population numbers balance on this new server. I say this because i play on alb and hib on  classic and almost everyone i know or talk too say theyre gonna roll mid. I have a fear its gonna be completely one sided.

Personally ill be going hib as a bm

I always recommend a thane to new players , alot of fun get the best of both worlds by casting storms and then smahing heads with huge weapons

Yeah the bg are a total waste of time now with all the one button pressing bonedancers. Alot of peeps say oh well stealthers can kill them  , well let me  tell ya its very very hard to beat a bd  in particularly a temped one with pd  that doesnt take alot of effort to get. If an assasin can mange to pull off a crit pa then maybe they will and yes archers can take down an untemplated  one in 3 or 4 shots but lets face it whos not templated to the eyeballs. The pets are a friggin joke especially the healing ones who were supposed to have been nerfed who quite often have the bd healed back to full before i can draw my 3rd shot.

Ive also noticed a marked increase in their poxy pets resetting after being mezzed.

The dickheads who came up with the ridiculously overpowered bonedancer class and are to blind to see it are the ones who ruined rvr in the battlegrounds and for solo pvping.  The battlegorunds are full of talentless tarts playing them.

I was lucky?????? enough to win one of the 100 fileplanet subs that allowed one to take part  in the age of conan beta however was midweek when i got the mail and had a lot of work on so i left it until weekend  however when i signed up and tried to enter the beta it was sodding well closed. Great prize and prolly the only one ill ever win

Its a piiece of piss to level a class to level 34 anyway  to be honest so i wouldnt let that sway u, the harder part ids the last 10 and as a healer u might need some help to do it effectively.

I always recommend people try the classic purely and simply cos it removes the need to try and get top bollox gear before u can compete.

Try crimson crusaders in alb on classic  theyre always happy to have new healer types.

Frontiers still active at times however mainly guild and regular groups to be honest. Personally if u want to return u will have more fun levelling to 39 and going to molvik which id recommend anyway cos i wouldnt rvr in fromtier until rank 3 anyway. I had a blast in there just recently until i forgot to turn off my rp and capped out accidentally.

Scouts are still pretty good solo in particular against casters however the last patch and changes to the MOS ability hurt  them quite significantly in relation to how they did against assasin classes. Before patch more ofthen than not u could see one coming and be able to react before u ate a perf however now i cant. Have had to pretty much rethink my play style and respec from a sniper based to melee based scout that is of course if u dont want to run in a stealth group which of course is now much easier as u can now see all your stealthed group mates

And yes any archers are phenonominally fast to level now.

classic pvp is not so gear dependant as their are many options and not too hard to get however it is VERY rp dependant. You really need to be rank 3 to remotely compete when u get to 50.

BG are pretty active all the way through even the pre 24 ones which in some ways are better than thidranki zerg fest. Aim for molvik and stop off for a while there id say 8)

Was just about to fork out £300 to have my lapotp repaired when i came across a nice bit of info tucked away unobtrusively on the hp web site advising that for some models of hp and compaq laptops form the last 18 months or so there was a service enhancement where they have come across a bios issue affecting the fan control algorithms which has subsequently shortened the life of graphics and wirless adaptors and they will repair them up to 2 years form purchase so thats a year after the manufacturers warranty ends.

Lol lordy me that must of been a long time ago. Ive never ever seen a 1v1 fight that has been seen by another group finish 1v1, all too  damn rp horny.
