For anyone thinking of trying this game avoid it like the fuking plague. Its probably the worst run game ive ever had the misfortune to see full of gold sellers who spam every second making it impossible to chat, full of complete assholes who try to steal your xp or drops every chance they get. Its got one server so the main areas people level in are ridiculously overcrowded making it impossible to level or very slow to level after level 25 or so

The so call ed company running thisgame are utter amateurs who say theyre cracking down on the likes of gold farmers but do absolutely bot all.

I used to play mir around 10 years ago when it had a good community , this is just utter sh1te!!!
 

The screen where u have to enter your authentication key for registering appears to be down and has been for 2 or 3 days now
As i can t get authenticated i cant log in to tghe web site and report the report the problem to tech support/customer services
can any of u guys already playing pls report it for me  Thanks
 

try a different email mate , i had the same problem on my main isp email address at ntlworld and waited several days , i then tried regostering with my hotmail one and got it within an hour allbeit it flagged up as a junk mail for some reason

been unable to access wow europe this afternoon both the game log in server, game news or the main europe web site inc forums ect

Is there any maintenance going on that would be causing this ??

For the record i have no connection problems with any other sites or games

Time has come to upgrade from my trusty old laptop so was wanting some advice on any uk based retailers i can get a gaming rig from (including monitor) and also some suggested spec that will play most games well. My budget is around £1000

I know it would be cheaper to make myslef however im partially sighted and find it a bit fiddly. I have had a brief lookaround and mesh seem to have some good deals however frankyl the horror stories on people waiting on orders and theire appaling customer service has put me off.  Also found one or 2 at overclockers however im still not sure what spec i should try and get  on my budget. Any help would be appreicated.

Found this from mesh which on paper looks quite good (I think) however i welcome opinions on this spec machine for a cool £800 (may go for the sli mode mobo for an extra £60 but unsure)

Great rundown on the skills however i didnt really see this as much of an rvr guide to be honest.

WE & WH are about on par it comes down to the plater skill then, its just if you can stand running round in your undercrackers for 40 levels go WE

Warhammer not that good, they also need a server that doesnt fall over when u have more than 10 people fighting, the worst game for optimising hardware ive ever seen

If they had a trial i dont think that many would subscribe after it

5 out of 10  - ok for a coupleof weeks but gets boring fast

will resub long enough to try out the new classes for a month and thats it - very disappointed in the game

Well i guess it must depend on what server u r on but on karak izor and on karak norn despite playing for 3-4 hours a session it popped twice at with a tier one character. Despite having tried in 3 different tiers if i have to ffin hang around for 4 hours just to get in that still kinda sucks

PS I might add one of the times it let me in it was half way through and i had leess than 5 minutes in there

war doesnt even compare with daoc - ive quit war feeling dreadfully disppointed now and dont feel i will ever pick up again , daoc on the other hand keeps calling me back every few months - just needs a few more players

Game is still very poorly optimised for most peoples standard settings - ive had to play around for more than i cared to just to try and get a a semi decent standard. Gamers shouldnt have to do that especially if developers are competing with the console markets.

I still havent got over the massive memory leak but ive given up on that one

I think you missed the point mate, theyre not blaming the players per se - they actually recognise thats its  game design flaw by not logically pointing the players to content that is being overlooked

Have to agree with it and OP's comments - im dreadfully bored already which really pains me as warhammer has been part of my life for so long i hate to think of it putting its name next to what ultimately is going to be a failure
