Woah buddy. You took the diary to a whole new level of paranoia. The whole point of the dev diary was stating that solo play would be in the game and that the story would progress at your speed. The reference to Boromir is "Ask Boromir -- soloing sucks when you are facing an army." That means you won't be able to solo giant groups of mobs or all of the quests. It does not mean soloers are getting the shaft. You need to read through the dev diary again and this time with an open mind.
And raiding will most definately be added later on. It is just not in at launch. The devs are working hard on the involving quests and story content. |

Yup they are all limited by race. Deosn't mean that certain classes aren't open to all races though. And we also don't know how each race is different within the classes. Champion - Guardian - Captain - Minstrel - Hunter - Burglar - Lore-master - |

It would pretty much turn it into SWG. Ghost towns everywhere. Not to mention destroy the lore. Turbine won't allow it for that reason. When housing is implemented, I expect it will be instanced in towns. |

Just lump the first 3 together. And that's all subjective because it's your opinion. Mounts will be put in with the Rohan expansion. Devs have said they want to get mounted combat right. I can see your reasons for being mad about only 4 races. I don't mind it but I can understand. And there are casters. The lore-master will use magic, just don't expect fireballs and lightning bolts. |
