 Good for you. But most people does not agree with you. AoC lost about 90% of its subscriber base in a fast *poff*. By your standards, you will love AoC. Most people have higher standards than looking past a buggy, sticky and exploitable game. Thank god for that. The truth will always prevail in the end. That is what I love in this life. I agree with him, sieging is really fun in Age of conan.

I think that many people in this thread, have never been in a siege in AOC before.

Also try to do a, Verify / Repair on the client. Maybe you got a corrupt file or something.

You should also uppdate all your drivers ;)

My realm has a really healthy population but a game can only benefit from more players. And it might finally condemn the majority of the biased, hate-fuelled reviews to the trash. The nay-sayers are really stifling this game’s growth but actions speak a hell of a lot louder than words and if people could try AoC, I think it would help significantly.

I think FC will release a Free trial after patch 1.05 (itemization,revamped-gemcutting-TarantiaCommons etc)

I think that pretty much all concerns will be fixed with this patch, ( concerns people had at launch and quit because of them )

Well i dont play on the spanish servers, but i read a post on the AOC ( EU forum ) around 3 weeks ago.

A spanish guy sad that alot of people came back over the last months and that the spanish servers or server (dont remeber if he talked about 1 server or both) had now a much better population, and he was very happy about this.

So i guess the population is pretty ok now, atlest thats what i heard from this guy.

For PVE servers i would recommend either Set or Wiccana.

For PVP servers i would recommend Cimmeria-rp, Cimmeria is a rp server but you dont have to rp if you dont whant to, i heard it has a more friendly community then Tyranny. ( Cimmeria and Tyranny are the 2 most populated pvp-servers ).

Yes, Age of conan is a much better game now.

FC has improved / tweaked the game alot, in both / pve / pvp /class balance / new content etc etc.

FC will also launch another new huge patch in around 2.5 - 3 months ( 1.05 ).

1.05 will have Itemization, revamped Gemcutting, Tarantia commons ( new lvl 70-80 zone) , new high lvl dungeons, alot of new items etc etc. HUGE patch with alot of good stuff !

Aquilonia is a RP server but you dont have to RP if you dont whant to.

As for servers I agree with Dave, Crom, Fury or Aqua are my choices too.

As for easy classes to level, I say TOS, Guardian, Bear schaman and necro are the easiest ones but Guardians and POMs are the easiest to find groups for. Still, pick the class you think is most funny to play.

I am a ranger (but I just stopped playing for a while, waiting for Tarantia Common and will be back once it is online, or possibly before), not the easiest class to level since you have very little AoE but funny to play and popular in groups because the high DPS on a single target together with the CC makes it good against bosses.

 

Yeah, I agree that it still could use more endgame, but that will come with expansions further down the road. For a newly released game it is not half bad. When it comes to Tarantia Commons, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it will come to the test server together with the itemization patch, but time will tell..

It has also been hinted that Tarantia Commons will have new high lvl dungeons (lvl 80) ;)

FC will hopefully also launch T3 of black ring citadel / Thoth-amons stronghold.
