To be completely honest, I find people that are able to kill an animal (for no good reason other than 'fun') quite worrying. If you can go to Africa for the soul purpose of invading another animals habbitat and murdering it unfairly, what's to stop you shooting a fellow human? If you lack the compassion to understand why it's such a cruel thing to do, then I really do wonder if you can understand why it's wrong to shoot people.

It's just rediculous to hunt animals with bloody great rifles, where the hell is the skill or excitement in that? I could shoot a bloody elephant dead if I were given an elephant rifle for god sakes, theres nothing 'skillful' or 'courageous' about it AT ALL. IF you were wrestling the lion to death with your bear hands, I might show a morsel of respect, but until then I'm afraid people that hunters are are nothing more than cowardly murderers.

It falls into the same category as bull fighting. I can't believe the spanyards think it's courageous to sedate, injure and bleed a bull for hours on end until it's so weak it can bearly stand, only to shove some greasy TWAT in a gay looking costume into the ring to dodge it's charges a few times before plunging a sword through it's spinal cord. It actually makes me feel sick to even think about.

I totally agree with this, killing animals in this way is like cheating, theres not much skill involved, the odds are so unfairly placed.

However give a single man a spear or sword and if he beats the creature he has my respect, and more cudoes for using it for food like our ancestors did, hunting with rifles is so much unecessary death.

A hunter could average a number of kills per day with a rifle, whereas if he used a spear or other hand weapon, one hunt would bugger him for the rest of the day unless hes truly skilled.

Evenly matched fights I respect (teeth/horns - spear, as an example), I hate cheats.

PS: At least bulls get a chance for revenge when they unleash them on people annually in that Spanish festival lol.

Does anyone know if they will implement Oceanic or Asian servers?

I am Aussie and unfortunately American (never tried Euro) servers generally dont cut it in my experience of gaming due to the terrible lag that can often arise.

So far ive only heard of American and Euro servers being used for this game, anyone heard otherwise?

lol who said it was an army of Tzeentch... I'm aware their mount would most likely be discs. (yeah so I forgot that one too :P)

In other words, 'why would Chaos get Discs, when it's an army of Khorne' :P, get the picture hehe.

PS: while im on the topic. Slannesh - Demonette mounts, those weird looking things with the long tongues and skinny snout.

After putting a little thought into this I came up with a possibility for dwarves, although it may seem a little too wild:

A palanquin carried by four little dwarves, though admittedly its gonna be a lot slower than any other sorta mount, but then again its just an idea, (perhaps it can be magical) I got this idea from the warhammer boardgame with the rune priest dude.

As for the other races:

Chaos - Chaos steeds (demonic), Khorne hounds

Elves: Horses, Unicorns???

Dark Elves: Horses, Cold Ones

Humans: Horses

Orcs/Goblins: Wolves, Squigs

I also had another idea that could be implemented, with possibility of 2 man Mounts: Chariots , one person drives, the other shoots.

If they ever introuduced flying mounts, I could think of heaps more examples

One must ask what does Chaos do in their spare time aside from slaughtering and pillaging?

Not much really! lol

Orcs? - Fight eachother and eat pigs.

Elves? - Prance around like little girls.

Humans? - Definitely hot dog suits and kicking poodles.

Dark Elves - Pr0n

Dwarves - Drinking, drinking and drinking, oh and drinking.

On a serious note, I dont think things such as houses and clothing will be implemented to a large extent (or at all), as the game will be very pvp-centric.

And I cant seem to think of any roleplaying sorta stuff that could be implemented.

However what I would like see implemented is a Arena for guilds of the same faction and individuals to fight it out and win prizes (tournaments )

Auctioning, (Auction houses) and a crafting system which branches beyond mere items but also siege equipment, etc.

Actually Orcs refer to themselves as Orks (as is this spelling used in all Warhammer lore), and shaman may have been trying to get into the context of Warhammer lore. Learntolore.

Firstly thanks for the comments, not a single troll, cept some guy with a dark elf fetish.

It was insightful, as one must remember that upon release race balance could become totally different to what was expected, and a few other good points were raised.

However concern is still there , especially with the release of that finished trailer, its generated even more Chaos

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I have a growing concern that Chaos will become too popular and therefore inbalance the game.

After reading a number of threads and posts on this forum, which I have been following for a while, including the large 'race poll' that was conducted it's become apparent that chaos is dwarfing the other races (except greenskins).

Now im not sure if this is correct on the whole, as im only going off this community, but I was wondering if other forums/communities seemed the same, and if perhaps any other large or official polls have been conducted.

As it stands I myself am keen on playing Chaos, as its the only race that truly appeals to me, unless they can make Dark Elf look just as badass.

Im just praying that the game doesnt become inbalanced, as I've personally seen the effects of faction inbalance in WoW. I just wonder how the devs will combat Chaos popularity.

Someone please prove me wrong.

You can visit the caverns of time you know, theres an 'exploit', (trust me I know ) however you cant go into any of the instances, just the 'staging' area.

The place looks pretty cool and pretty weird, I was impressed. However I stopped playing WoW cos you simply ran out of things to do, doesnt look like the expansion is gonna bring anything new either.

WoW PVP was fun while it lasted.

Reccomending WoW to anyone is extremely irresponsible!
