I think you downloaded the NA client instead of the EU client.

Am I the only one laughing at statements like this?   Polish.  Let's see.   Water is for looking at only basically.   Can't swim in it at all.   Useless areas means wasted resource.   The linear path you have to take to level via quest is worse than WoW and forget grinding MOB's - I do not do that anymore in MMORPG's - that is worse than getting a root canal.   It is a grind when it takes for frakking ever to kill a mob - a simple mob. A grind is a grind. I can't imagine what it will be like to get to 50! Forget it. Been there and done that in L2. 

Each side has one starter area.   One!  OMG.   Seriosuly flawed imbalances to classes, also - like Rangers.   OMG can the Ranger class be designed worse than this?  I do not think so.   Forgive me for thinking this, but seriously.   Does anyone honestly think the classes are balanced in this game?  Cleric's, I truly feel for them.   Those first 20 levels are a bitch.  Forget soloing.   Best find a Templar and stick to them like glue.    This game needs some serious class balancing.  

Don't get me talking about the gimmicky wings they added.   Why give players wings with such limited use?   Seriously.  Can anyone answer me this?  What purpose does it serve?   

Abyss is the only place  for good PvP.   That will get old.    Fighting in the same zone, night after night.    ::shakes her head::   Even we that played Planetside had more maps to choose from.   If I wished to fight for the same zone over and over again I'll play BF2 Strike at Karkand.   At least it is fun.

A prediction.   3 months max after release people will be bitching about the lameness of this game and how poorly it was designed.   Just like they did for AoC, WAR and DFO.    ^_^   My opinion.

1. The linear zones from 1-20 although it does get better 20+

2. World textures are lacking in some areas..but Aion is a mass PVP game and I understand why they had to skimp on some textures.

3.The ability to make your character extremely tiny when you create it...I just think it looks retarded as all hell.

 [EDIT] 4. Swimming we should have it...maybe in a later patch I hope.

Other than that I love Aion and enjoyed playing in China's OB.

I don't even go to Aionsource anymore..I joined the site in November of 2006 and lets just say ever since Mark got canned and the preview events started the community there went to shit.

How big is the loss of xp when you die? Do you also lose xp from dying in PvP? Can you lose so much xp that you lose a lvl? And would that mean, that if your at max level and pvping and dying, you can decrease in lvls if you die enough?

5% exp loss dying from mobs or falling to your death from flying.(buy most of it back from soul healer)

You can't delvl and there is no exp loss for pvp, but you do loose abyss points dying from pvp.
