In all honesty, the game wont fail in the sense you are thinking...  CO and STO have very small populations compared to other MMO's and PW keeps them running.  If you want to hit them where it hurts, just keep playing for free and using up their server resources.

Im no fan of F2P games and would much rather pay a sub but NW isnt pay to win, if anything its pay to get to end game faster. Seems to be alot of 'cut of nose to spite your face' people in this thread, along with the ones who, if they play, HAVE to buy stuff and cant actually show some willpower.

You all carry on with your hate and rage against the game, personally im going to continiue playing the game, dropping no more than £9.99 a month (if that) into the cash shop, until I no longer enjoy it.

There were a few glaring exploits that were slow to be fixed, along with all the fish bots but these were addressed and i've found in general they are quick to fix genuine issues and only  ignore the 'my spec got pwnd in pvp so it must be xploitz/imbalance!' crybabies :)

If its an unknown IP then its not possible to look at it as a fan. If your asking would I be looking at it as a fan of the genre then yes I would, exactly as I do with every new or announced RPG, RTS, FPS, or MMO. I then decide based on the information availible if it has the GAMEPLAY im looking for to make it worth investing some time and less money than I spend in 2 hrs at a restaurant on.

Unfortunately theres a good reason the word fan is derived from fanatic (which is apparently acceptable in video games but not religion!!), to qoute one of the posters on page 1:

Just to point out, WoW didnt introduce endgame raiding or instanced dungeons - they were both in EQ quite a few years before WoW was released. As for GW2, personal story could be argued of for SW:Tor to name one, and semi action combat can be taken from AoC and TSW (if you count dodging).

Well i've been playing MMO's since the mid 90's and dial-up and I agree with him,  the majority of user comments on this site are either trash or elitism. I see the same posters bashing every new game that comes out, usually based on a preview or interview not on experience, and saying how eveything was sooooooo much better in their day, guess they forgot about all the kill stealing, camp stealing, cockblocking, constant grind etc etc.

Personally I would stop playing if it went F2P, as would many of the gamers I know. I hate the whole cash shop and paid content scheme and the arrogant little chavs it attracts. People who havent invested into a game through either extensive time and effort or through a monthly sub seem to be less interested in maintaining a good public profile, e.g not acting like asshats or ninja's.

It used to be that if someone acted like a large majority do nowadays they would quickly be guildless and barred from all decent groups/raids.

From what I have seen it does seem to be a minority posting requirements like this, and then only for nightmare mode dungeons. Is it elite/nightmare your trying to get into as a healer, without any healing experience, or normal mode dungeons? Personally I havent had any problems getting in groups yet but thats as dps where people are more forgiving, I am about to try a tanking build but intend to only do this with friends/cabal members.
