World of Warcraft: Editorial: The Burning Crusade

Well I am agreeing with the masses. TBC wil most likely not be anything that shocks or amazes any of us. However, as I loathe raiding, I am excited about the revamp of the honor system. A small Guild can pwn the arena and actually have gear equal to those that raid forsaking all other aspects of life. Of course seeing new dungeons and areas will have it's cool moments, but the honor system is why I will definitely be reactivating my account when TBC is released.
P.S. Am I the only one that gets a certain sick satisfaction from all the raiders crying about how lvl 68 greens are going to be better than their Tier 2? |

I love how everyone reads these articles and suddenly become grammar, content, paragraph design, editorial expert critics... in their own mind. Yea Yea, I know a flaming is coming. Seriously people, these articles are meant to be entertaining and stir the pot a bit. Read 'em, Enjoy 'em or Not, and then go read something else. Personally I love reading someone's opinions who is as sarcastic and cynical as me. This guy is not going to rate games with the number scale, he's going say the game is fun, or it blows. I can apreciate that. I may not always agree with this guy, but I hope he keeps writing. As for the whole Mourning topic, ask yourself: Does a company's history matter to you when you buy a game? If, say, SOE hired a totally new staff and decided to run a game would you play it? |

Aside from the few brave souls, most of the SF (pvp flagged) peeps will be lvl 90 well geared vets. You CAN attack them and unless they are afk, you most likely die. Once you get to 90, find some gear and THEN start going after player bounties. Also try finding a BH Buddy and team up on the same contract. It will make it more fun, and greatly inrease your chances against the jedi (who complain all the time about getting teamed up on). |

Worst Idea Ever -----> 0/10 So besides the already low population to interact with, why don't we make it so I can't communicate with half of them? There will always be little kiddies talking trash when they win. It's annoying but after playing WoW, you become immune to it. The worst thing that really happened to you is a trip to the cloning facitlity. Big deal. Not to mention the fact that it doesn't make any physical sense. Imps and Rebs don't have their own secret language. Plus I'm an Imp and rebs have all the hot wookie chicks. |

Hey Folks, I played SWG from launch to right before the NGE (Couldn't stand the village). I picked up the "new" game and finished the legacy quests but then started the grinding wookies trying to level up--->Got sick or it--->left. Has the game gotten any better? or is it still a -grinding clickfest that makes you wonder if this is how Han Solo leveled up- piece of crap of a game? I am a Star Wars buff and I love the community and would love to come back, but I have a low tollerance for paying a monthly fee for p00p. Thanks in advance. |
