DC universe is comming out this year I wqonder if it will take the best parts from both games and roll them into one,I hope so

I have played both COH/COV from day one and I also played CO from day one. I stop playing COX around May of 2009 and most likely will  stop playing CO for awhile to play DC univeres online. I love the hero MMO games but  I think I would have to give the slight edge to COX. Now keep in mind that I really like both games but I'm not really feeling the art style that they went with for CO,now IDK if its just because I been playing COX for so long and got use to their art style or what but I just really like the look and feel of the  toons on COX. Now when it comes to powers,travel powers, and powers customization I think CO is head and shoulders above COX.I guess I wish that COX had all of CO powers and travel powers or that CO had COX art style and feel. 

This is kind of kool but at the same time abit dissapointing also. I mean they could have just rolled the Sith and Jedi into one class and just have skill trees once you pick Jedi or Sith and then pick what path you wanted to go down weahter it be the Sith Inquisitor or Sith warrior for the Sith side and Jedi Consular or Jedi Knight for the Jedi side and they could have save the last two spots for other class choice.

I'm ok with the art style as long as they let us customize our toon like how big or skinny he/she is or short or tall and give lots of hair options  for our toons, lots of facial hair options scars,battle scars and what not no matter if they are male or female and one last thing I had high hopes that they would give us another melee class so that Jedi and Sith would not be the only melee clas to pick from in the game because I myself love melee class and I intend on playing one for this game but I don't wanna have to be forced to play as a  Jedi or Sith to do so.

Just look at the different codes of the two orders.  First, the Sith:

The Jedi code is inherently evil, because it asks of it's followers that they be less than human, that they sacrifice in their own lives all of the aspects that make those lives worth living, to the point that the last line of their code becomes sad prophecy.  There truly is no death for a Jedi, because before something can die, it must first live, and for the Jedi there is no life, only the Force.  An order dedicated to the eradication of the soul and opposed to the very idea of the individual cannot be considered good.

The Jedi code is Flaw,I'll give you that but they were good guys following a outdated flawed code. If you read the books or better yet the movie Starwars, I forget which one its in its in either 4,5, or 6 that Yoda tells Luke that the old Jedi code was flaw and that its alright to feel love or passion or saddness but to use those feelings for good.  One other thing, in the later books Luke rewrites parts of the jedi code and says that there is no light or dark side of the force that the force is just the force and it depends on how those Individuals use it for good or evil or light & dark.  :)   Sorry that I could not give you exact book or movie but its been a long time since I read any or watched any.

I have something that I would like to add and this has been bugging me since I pre ordered the game. Oh why oh why can't I have a dark-skined  Barbarian or Conqueror and add more pants into the game as armor. I know that they had kilts and everything back then but I also know that they did were pants also I have seen the movies and looked at the pics from a few books  lol and I think pants would be more of heavey armor then a kilt would is all. I said this already in some other forum I think  but I forget which one.

Teras Kasi was oe of the classes that was in SWG pre CU and CU days. It was a bad ass class I might add also , they were like experts in hand to hand combat kind of like the Handmaiden was on KOTOR 2 she was an Echani warrior.  :)

There are only two things that really bug me about AOC so I will ask my two questions now.

1. Why when I'm in the charter creation part of the game I cannot make a black barbarian or Conqueror toon. Are they saying that there were no black  people that were Barbarains or Conquerors back then?

2. Why can't my Conqueror were pants for heavy armor? I know that the game takes place way back in the day when the men would wear that kind of stuff but from the two movies that I saw  Conan & the other guys on there had on pants. When I see skirts and kilts for heavey armor over pants that really bugs me alot because My thinking is that pants would provide more protection then a skirt or kilt could. I have four toons on AoC all of them are about level 45 but one , and that one is level 72 but I have not played the game since August of 2008 so I don't know what changes the game has made since my time.

Oh ok thanks man I really thought that was her but now I know :)  Now I'm wondering what the heck did happend to his paddy then?

I'm not for sure but I think she dies. If you have Epd. 3 just pop in that second dvd with all the extra stuff and it shows her been killed by General Grievous, now I'm not  sure but after watching the movie that is who I thought she was.

I have a hard time playing AoC and not because of my PC. Its the dam patches that get me every time,one patch will come out that makes it were I can't log in and the another one that comes out a week later fixes it. The C.S. is ok at best all they tell me is when I send  a email to C.S. is for my PC specs then bascily wait for the next patch to come out and hopefully that will fix my problem.

Last's week patch did that to me but they did says that I will be compensated for any game time missed so thats why I gave there C.S. and ok.  I just hope they get it togather is all.

The game will come out in 2009 unless it gets pushed back abit like most MMO's do for fine tuning and polishing. But they have been working on this game for some time now they just have done a very good job of keepping a lid on it is all.  :)

You are right on all points !  :)  But thats what so good about that timeframe :)

I hear people say that this game will be over before it begains if Jedi are  a playable in the game. Well the Jedi and the Sith is what KORTOR is all about man!  In that time frame they are a very big part of the wars and battles that took place. The other big faction were the Mandalorians I bet that they  will be a playable class also or least I hope they will they could hold there own vs Jedi or Sith but the point is in MHO they have to have Jedi and Sith in game because thats whats alot of players would want , now just because they are in the game don't mean that they have to  be unbeatable I trust that Bioware & LA will find a nice  balance of the classes for the game, if not it can't be any worse than SWG is right now.

hum monitor is 20 ich widescreen max  res on COH was 1400*1900 I think, It was something like that

it has 4 gigs of ram right now and Intel Core duo processor 1.87 GHz  But I do have it in SLi mode with two 8800 GTS video cards but the cards are only 320 mb ddr3 :(     But I do have a big hard drive 500 GB   680 SLi motherboard.   I don't know much about building  gamming  rigs yet, this was my first one. Just wanna know if I will be able to run AoC on max setting and if not what would you say I would need so that I can?  Thank You!
