I support this.

I can agree that their style is hard to get used to.

To me, it involves matching the sound of the music up to images in my mind. Hard to explain.

Does anybody here listen to Meshuggah?

They're one of my favorite bands. I also like Bolt Thrower, Gojira, Tool, and many many other bands.

That song's lyrics would go great in a Star Wars - Force Unleashed video, I think.

GM run events, by GMs that roleplay.

I'm looking for an instrument to practice playing. Particularly one whose sound appeals to me (maybe folk instrument, like a lute or a shamisen). Unfortunately, I've never played an instrument so I'm not sure where to start with either of those. Also, I can't find any place to buy a shamisen online in the united states.

To add to the list, a creepy game with creepy multiplayer would be sweet.

Maybe Doom 3 for coop, or Borderlands?

Tell me more about borderlands. Is the multiplayer gameplay kind of like that of Diablo 2?

Have you tried Dawn of War II? The campaign is really a lot of fun and incorporates RPG elements and squad based combat. The multiplayer is also not your typical Starcraft type of resource and unit management. It's essentially capture point where you don't build any buildings but you generate troops from an HQ, which is already built at the beginning of the round.

It's really alot of fun and both aspects are very different from C&C or Starcraft.

Edit: spelling error

Yeah, but the factions feel limited, and there aren't many maps as I recall. I still got owned there too.

Theres Warcraft 3, but I was hoping for a more timeline-correctness oriented game, since the timeline already progressed far past WC3 with WoW.

I got lots of christmas money to spend, and I'm looking for one of two things: a singleplayer RTS or MMORPG.

The MMORPG or MMOFPS has to be roleplay friendly, and something I haven't tried yet, which is unlikely. I considered darkfall but I hear the game is still in hell.

As for the RTS, I'm looking for something with multiplayer that isn't so insanely difficult at first. The ones I've tried were C&C Generals, Rome: TW, LoTR:BFME and Dawn of War. I always get owned on multiplayer because everybody seems to just build multiple barracks, produce a massive force, and than zerg the crap out of me before I can do anything.

Thanks in advance :)

You deserve a reward for stating it that way.

 Biblethumpers are retarded.

Thats all I'm going to say here, because theres only so much you can say to a retarded biblethumper before you finally give up on trying to instill some logic into their minds. All the points I would have put out have been made.

And I happen to support gay marriage.

IMA GOIN' TO HELL! YEAH!

I heard of an RP server recently called Wyrmrest Accord (I think) and it sounds new, and I heard the server's RP community is pretty good. I'm willing to play either alliance or horde, and pretty much any class (except warrior and deathknight). Does anybody agree with me going to this new RP server?

I hate to regrind back to a high level but I might as well find an MMO and stick with it.

No, almost though, as you can see:

Damn :[

Least I'm buying a D drive Thursday (I only got a C drive).

Does this game really take 20 GB of hard drive space?

 Fail.

Daoc has where you can Roleplay in it..and the kind of classes your looking for and also a free trial period...

Last time I checked DAoC, it was dead. I'm still trying to make a choice. I might pick Clan Lord but I'm still not sure.

Edit: Nevermind. Some people said roleplay isn't that common anymore there :(

(Sorry fory the late reply. I'm on a school PC.)

I remember playing FoM years ago before I knew what RP was but as I remember the game was pretty roleplay oriented (or at least a few of the players mentioned it was an RP game but I thought they meant RPG game mechanics than).

Clan Lord looks kinda cool, as its one of the only MMOs I haven't tried (EQ2, and WoW I've tried as well. FE looks okay but I'm not sure if I wanna spend $50 on it quite yet). I've played so many MMOs. Its just that I never really played any for more than a month to three months at most and I just wanna find one and stick with it.

Edit: People still RP on The Realm?

I'm looking for an MMO with a decent RP community (and preferably a trial of some sort).

As for other prerequisites, I'm also looking for...

1. Many classes. (optional)

2. Unique classes- monk, necromancer, etc (classes that don't fit the standard mage/warrior/healer/rogue/whatever description- optional)

3. Many races (or one or two odd ones like orcs, goblins, etc- optional).

4.  A game where my actions can make a difference (optional- probably a sandbox styled game.)

MMORTS?

I'm also kinda looking for a good MMO with an RP community too, and Darkfall might match that criteria IF they fixed the hacker problem and whatever else needs fixing.

Is that game doing better than it was during release?
