I heard in the RP forum that theres an RP community on SWG still. I was wondering what the best server would be for it. I want to be on the rebel side of the war. Do people still do tuskan raider RP?

Every MMORPG dev out there seems to have no respect for the RP community of MMORPGs. They would rather implement instance after instance, raid boss after raid boss, so on and so forth than put in a few features to make the roleplayers happy. Seriously, all the '1337' gamers want to do is get some retarded pixilated items to show people on their retarded pixilated character and say "Oh look! I have the same thing 5,000 other people of my class have on this server so I'm better than everybody but the others who have it!".

As usual, when I'm posting here I'm posting to request any games that have an established RP community. EVE has an RP community but I just find the game not to my taste. I'm giving CoH a try -again-. Is there something out there for us RPers? I would like to give UO a try but to my knowledge the, Europa is the only server good for RP and I am not on the same time schedule as those people.

I played DAoC about 2 years ago, and I would like to see the game come back to life. Does anybody know if the game world is small enough to find people, and do people roleplay much on the North American RP servers?

If I ever get ingame, I'll be going a goblin shaman. I don't think I'll be getting a buddy key from any buddy key threads though.

If they make it, I beg of them to make it NOT so demanding, graphics wise.

Freeform doesn't involve using any RPG system, thus D&D can't be freeform unless it's a D&D based world that is true to the monsters and (freeform) spells and such.

Flight pack equipped storm troopers zipped across the water firing high-powered rocket guns into fragile hulls. Blasts of pure energy ripped through the night, leaving death and devastation in their wake.

The Freedom Phalanx roused itself to take on the Nazi attack, but by the time they organized a response the attack was nearly over. The Germans made a fighting retreat as the sea burned with flaming oil and thousands sank to watery graves. In the wake of such disaster, Congress was quick to declare war on both Axis powers. The first into the fight were those very heroes who had been burned during the raid on Paragon City. The Freedom Phalanx, its ranks swelling with new volunteers, made a harrowing journey across the Atlantic to help reinforce the Dawn Patrol in England.

Paragon City became the main recruiting ground for super powered soldiers. The US Army set up a special training facility in the city and amended the recruitment laws to allow costumed and anonymous heroes to enlist in the war effort. Heroes from across the country and throughout the Western Hemisphere came to the city and learned to not only use their powers and abilities but also how to fight as part of an army....."

I am curious about one matter of the story... Realistically, (ingame) are there really that many supers in the CoX universe? Heroes seem to make up quite the fraction of paragon city's population.

I am curious about freeform roleplaying, and want am looking for a freeform RP forum that is active, and has  one of the following concepts...

Sci-FI

Modern, fantasy, or sci fi horror (especially zombies)

Any D&D setting

Dune

Warhammer (The only generic fantasy concept I looking forward to free-form RPing)

Warhammer 40,000

Post apocalyptic

And any other non-generic fantasy concepts you can think of.

But because every such thread was met with hostility of dozens and dozens of socalled "It won't happend, we're good PvP'ers and you cant RP without PvP" peoples... Guess they won... They got their "Gank the RP'ers servers".

You seemingly read my post, unlike 90% of these people posting who have no idea about me saying that there is no RP on PVE servers, and that I'm an RPer.

Roleplaying on PVE servers doesn't exist. Go look at the roleplay question thread about cimmeria and wiccana (or whatever that PVE server was called).

I forgot to mention that I'm an RPer, so PVE servers are out of the question.

Whats your character name and what server do you play on?

I've been ganked repeatedly already. One time I was killed out of the blue, and than some asscrack killed me when I respawned. The whole white sands is a runescape wilderness.

It's just that pet classes in MMOs are seemingly about how 'cute and cuddly' animals are. I want savage animals, sorry. Also, petting a bear on the head shouldn't tame it.

I would like to add that with a pet class, from my understanding, most of the time you can solo through a whole game simply for having a pet class.
