Yeah there all Sandfbox, made for people to stay within the lines and dare to read between them. Hey that dungeon is new let's run that, then another and another. Before you know you've beaten the same boss 20x's in one day you know the very next move he will make and what's going to drop next. I'm glad it's still the simple things that excite people. Give me a challenge or give me death, oh wait the challange is the same dungeon but my it's on elite. Oh wow bestill my beating heart.

I for one don't know if i should be that excited about this game. Is it going to be another grind fest where all we do is one dungeon after another... Seems to be the way the MMO's are going now and days.What's the world going to be like.. Is it going to be open or one big instance , is it going to play anything like the single player games? I know they have to make it MMO friendly, but to be honest if i wanted to play anything like that i'd play something like WOW or SWTOR. If they take one aspect after another and stay true to the games that have been releasing and that we all love, it'll be great. Things like being Evil, for say i go into a town and kill the gaurds and everyone hates you.Some of us preffer to be hated.. What i don't want is a fluffy cloud world where the gaurdrails are put up so you don't fall off the bed and hurt your pretty little head, and give me a OPEN world where you run up to a spot and there's already people there. What a concept! Untill i see what the nuts and bolts look like put together i'm not getting my hopes up. Rift was great untill it became one grind fest after another like most MMO's.I know each concept of a game is taken from another, and with each new game there goes the saying "simpson's did it", but i want what i've loved about The Elder Scrolls to rain true in this,. This is all pure opinion and observational comments don't take anything i say to heart just voicing what i've noticed over the years. I'd love to see what you all have to say.

I agree! Gone are the days that made MMO's even simi difficult. I believe the great MMO's (EQ,DAOC,VG) died because people got lazy, and the grind got too much. The killer of all games is of course the player base. Why play something that can be a slight pain, or dare to puch a challenge, when you can follow the masses to the prize at the end of the maze..  Where did working for something and then feeling that ultimate joy of getting it done go? I like leveling fast, but then you run into the redundancy and end up doing the same mission/quest over again not matter what race/class  you choose it really doesn't change much. The guesswork in my opinion is really being taken out of games for people. In the end i understand why there are games out there where you can get alot done in a short amount of time. People do have lives out side of the MMO world,but in the same instance i do wish they would make things harder and people would stop looking for the easy way out so that they would feel like  people would stay if they did so.  Easy Games get boring fast and if having a roster full of over powered max level derps is how you win the peeing contest then you  need to pull your pants back up and realize if that's the case then it wasn't that hard in the first place.

Wow alot of anger about this. In the wrighters defence, not that he can't defend himself. I don' t think it was a post about what will happen more of what he noticed. Don't get wrong i'm definitley on the side of all of you and am glad to see that there are more people that feel the way i do about consoles. I don't even own a console currently and the last one i did own eventually sat untouched for months at a time, till i pawned it for cash. I'm sure someone will reply to this in an even more angier/condesconding tone, but eh here goes. I think he meant this as an observation. Not to say that PC gaming or that the PC world will fall to way side, but i think  more of  a i hope it never comes to this and i agree. I say  there are alot of peple out there that don't know what there missing out on in playing games on PC's. I like to play some games with my M&K and others with my PC controller. I think it's come down to,"Whatever you can do i can do better", Speaking in  terms of the PC vs Console battle. I've looked at the specs of for say the Xbox 360 and PS3 , and they both have  PC parts. Infact are becomming more like a PC every year, but there not the same at all. They barely hold a candle to the customizing and hardware options of a PC. People who call themselves gamers or hardcore games that only play console games to me ( in my opinion) don't know what real gaming is. Yeah you went out and bought a machine that was prebuilt, and once it dies or the next version of consoles come out  it's time to put that old one up next to the  SNES, or SEGA console collectables. I hope PC gaming never dies and infact i don't think it is going to.With the way PC's and PC part prices drops are going, thanks too and if your smart you shop on Newegg, the PC is going no where fast. The world fan base is way to huge, and the people that  said something about it tanking or taking a back seat to consoles, where probably some console junky gamer wannabes, who's thumbs are the only digits that actually have cordination in there hand.

In the end i like this post some of the comments i found to be rather funny, but we are pc's and like it or not were not going anywhere.

EQ1 Cause the only reason i left after going back so many times, Is that there's no one left playing!! I mean yeah soloing is good when you wanna do it, but to have to do it is another story. Players do make the game what it is or great. I agree with one of the post i saw if i wanted to play a game by myself i would play single player games.

I played DCUO on my PC but with a controller and i loved it! I'd say it's how they set up the controlls. The consoles have the potential to do great things, as we have seen in many games. Unfortunitly for the gamming industry there will always be PC and console gamers. I'm a PC gamer and would rather use it then anything else.

Ok come on. This is sony! The makers of EQ, and Vangaurd. In my opinion the company knows what it is doing. But it's not the programers that want to rush the launch. it's the people forking the bill. My faith is in sony,this isn't there first rodeo.,And this isn't just any launch. I'm sure they'll cross there T's and dot there I's/

You don't go buying a NEW car , and then are told  .Well  the timing chain needs to be replaced, and the damper door doesn't close all the way, and not to mention the wiring is a little screwy. Yes us vets of MMO's are a little used to it. I dunno what game i've ever played that didn't  need a little more work.  But when you pay for the Game, and  Then a monthly. When you really  look at it your like WTF! But like everything else, nothing is perfect cause we aint.

What are you all who are complaining about the pvp aspect  thinking!!! It's Good Vs Evil!!! A comic book based MMO wouldn't be any kind of anything  if you where just running around Fighting NPC's

I mean god for bid you actually fight something that has a brain or any kind of actual genuine ideas of how to kick the crap out of you, and as far as bashing SOE obviousely none of you who did bash it never played EQ before they put all the new crap in. When it frist came out the game was great and yes it has changed over time but that's the way the world works things change. If your not that into comic books then don't play the game believe me you won't be missed. As for i i'm exstatic about this game. I've been waiting so long for a game that offers such realism you throw something and if your off it can bounce around and take out one of your friends or a sivilian. As for the PVP heck ya i wanna fight supervillians or super heros. Somebody who can think on there feet is much more of a challenge then a programmed NPC who's not going to be creative at all let alone give you a sporting fight and if your worried about being trampled by a more powerfull foe don't you think SOE has thought about this they are trying to make money and i think they know what there talking about many of there games have been around for a very long time and still have a decent amount of players. All i know is when it's released i'm kissin WOW good bye and starting my online life of crime! Watch out DC universe!!!
