just readin the reviews for planetside and honestly the ratio from good reviews to bad reviews is 8:1 which is ridiculous for any game... so why isnt it is as popular as it should be? |

Haven't visited the site in awhile, not since right before AoC launched. Last i remembered was a lot of AoC fanbois boasting about the game and giving arguments like: "It's only beta! the lag and glitches and bugs are obv not gonna be in release its a diff client!" "its only beta! all this talk about the game not being finished and having no content in the upper levels is just doomsayers" "funcom isnt doin anything sneaky by capping the public beta, its just marketing lol1!lol" so since i have common sense, i avoided AoC like the plague and saved myself some $$$ because it was obvious this game was just unoriginal and was nothing but hype from day one. basically from what ive read and heard from friends who always buy the newest mmo was that the $50 or whatever would have been better spent if i hired a midget to punch me in the balls all day oh and with some irony, those same fanbois back then would bash WAR and Darkfall at every chance...of course darkfall verdict is still out but there is definite signs of life (but to be honest any sane person can read the info out there and know its a real game and is comming out, how good it will be is another story). And WAR would have to fail miserably to be worse than AoC. And now i am remembering why i stopped checking out this forum... Sheep. I see a lot of them around here....
How can you post such an extensive thread about something you have no first hand experience about? How can you hate a game you haven't tried? How do you know that hiring a midget to punch you in the balls all day only cost 50$?
I hope you realize that you are the sheep by not thinking for yourself and basing your decision to hate the game off of everybody else... completely contradictory to what you were saying. |

Actually believe it or not their is a bug that actually gives you worse FPS on low settings. So to increase your FPS substantially you turn all your settings on high and turn shadows off. You get very good fps doing that. Hope it helps! |

i recently resubscribed to planetside cus i just cant get away from this game it is so damn good if you like shooting games and you like mmos this game is def worth trying if i knew of any free trials i would give you guys a link but i dont know |

i haven't played TR yet... cant get a free trial before i buy it. But i played planetside and it is a very good game. It would be so much better if the population was higher... idk if there are vehicles in TR but u can fly vehicles and drive vehicles in PS and there are alot of different roles u can play in planetside just dont know how much variety there is in TR. also planetside gets a little bit repetetive |

yea u definetly need a better computer i was on a 2gb processor computer and it ran like crap. they added so much stuff since beta thats why u need better computer

the game is still definetly populated mostly because of reserves but I wouldnt recommend buying this game until after you try the reserves. Also if your computer isnt made for gaming dont bother with this game because it can be very frustrating with the lag that you get during battles of 10+ people

i'm not 100% sure on all this but its from what i hear around game.
1) of course they will 6 slots isnt enough for 3 games. i would expect 2 more slots just like factions. 2) judging from the PvP event i would say that nightfall would be based in an egyptian like place. 3) I guarentee that Anet will not make it so you can play anything but a human like character its either all human or maybe a dwarf at the most but i wouldnt get your hopes up |
