You have some good points. I however, feel that for once we are thrown into the fun of the world created right away and that so many moments revolve around you specifically as you play that it makes it enjoyable every time I log in.

I think the world may feel a bit linear to you due to the pairings and limited land mass for release. In truth, the game is larger in size than WoW. I love the thought that in the future updates and expansions, we will see the world expand and make it feel VERY mmorpg. I mean, the size of the War's lore world is the size of our own world, I think that leaves it open for some pretty big expansions. Each area gets bigger than the last and I like that.

Sure it could use a bit more rpg element but I think that's mostly due to the fact that at release, the game is escentially a pvp/rvr game, let expansions fill in some of the PVE desire. PVE is actually pretty decent in this game, it's just that ht is dwarfed by the fun factor of scenarios, rvr and PQ's. I believe that this game has enough different gamestyle options that when combined, it makes for an overall amazing experience. I don't see it as an amusement park, but I can see where you might think that. I play on a RP server so I dont get the feeling that its just a big fun house for gamers, theres more depth.  Anyway, enjoy whatever game you play, even if its quite a few years old and more of the same old. Like you said, if Tetris is fun, it's fun..

Common sense Should have told you to move from the low population server to one of the more popular and balanced ones. I really don't see how your so called issues are anything but your own problem. People have no common sense at all these days..

The only thing overated is your opinion that we care. Who the hell is honestly going to not play Warhammer because of you? Certainly not all the people having a blast all this month in it.

The game pretty much speaks for itself. It's the most fun I've had gaming in a long long time. I havn't even logged into EQ2 or SWG which are still active till early October. I'm just absolutely loving this game.

Looks great with the tweaks mentioned. If anyone has further tweaking that would benefit the game post how to do so. I love it so far. You can find alot of screenshots in my previous posts and here are a few more showing how the graphics look for me. Love them.

 Im going to cancel my Warhammer subscription and uninstall the game, burn the discs and stand outside my house with a picket sign protesting the game, all because then, I will finally be convinced, that you are right and I am wrong.. I will never play the game again.. because your opinion has been hammered into me so many times times, that It must be correct. 

The original poster is clearly trying to get a rise out of people. Thing is, the game is pretty damn good for having just released. You're not going to find too many people seeing massive flaws in it simply because they dont exist on any major level. I've had nothing but fun playing this game and the one texture bug i did have, righted itself out after zoning a few times to other places. I have the settings tweaked to be amazingly detailed and graphically pleasing and it doesnt stutter one damn bit. I even have a fairly old rig compared to most people these days.

After I did that I logged in and my textures were fading in and out of higher resolution at random. People around me were blurry and I myself woudl shift as I moved into VERY low res textures. its crazy.. I reverted back to the old settings incase it was that. But I cant get rid of this. Why retards insist on posting new threads titled the 'graffics suxxorz!" is beyond me. It's only going to be proven wrong again and again. There is a fantasy book quality to the art in Warhammer, and it is far more gritty than WoW. Armor shines in the moonlight, fog rolls heavy above the Phoenix Gate in its huge sweeping arch of a hallway. Trolls hurl bolders from mountain tops. Dragons fly down from citidaels. I dont know how any of Warhammer can be concieved as poor art or graphics. I sure as hell optimized my settings by putting on AA and AF and installing the overall polish added with the installation discs over beta. I guess Ill just post some more screenshots for the Troll to gasp at.  Hmn..

All you're doing is creating good publicity for this game when you have false claims about it.

Install from the discs, there's a thread on here about how the discs have sharper textures and all around smoothness, and it's true.

I use the simple but effective escape key.

That's great, this is one post that confirms my suspicion that many people who try the game will love it regardless of negative people on any forums. The game just speaks for itself in volumes. I do believe logic and reason and facts overpower delusions and hate and propaganda. I learned that from the Sword of Truth series *grins*

Holy crap.. it's defintely up a notch or ten when you hit 12th and go to Tier 2 and the new senarios. I can't believe how progressively better this game gets and starts out great. I thought I would miss Khaine's and Norden's, but not after laying waste to an order keep and it's lord in a warband and my first time at Troll's Crossing with all those huge lumbering trolls hurling boulders from hilltops and mountains. Talk about your fantasy epic wars!

What you do on the battle field DOES have an effect. You take out their bright wizards, your vanguard host can then push through safely to kill the healers without being incinerated. You strategically face your foe and think who's death would give your side some time to advance forward. With the healers now dead and the bright wizards returning, its time to slaughter the lot of them while they are waiting for their healers to return swiftly. The sorcerers battle the bright wizards and soon its becoming harder and harder to keep pushing through. That dwarf is now recieving constant healing and becomes an imovable barrier, so the chosen keep them busy as they are the ones strong enough to take them head to head. It takes ten people sometimes to slay the immovable tank and it's all very fast and deadly and strategic. I don't know what the hell you're talking about by boring pvp?
