Are you really surprised after the AoC debacle?

I played 1.2 for about an hour then hit the cancel button. I am now on the free month but have only logged in a few times say hello to guild mates. I too wish they would roll back to 1.1 but it will never happen.

After Funcom screwed everyone over with AoC, I'm surprised anyone would give them another chance and play TSW. I know I wont be giving them any of my $$$$.

They nerfed the hell out of sorc healers so bad that they are now completely useless in pvp. And for anyone who said they were op didnt know how to play their class. I tried 1.2 for 2 days and i couldnt even out heal 1 sorcs dps. I had all bm gear looking forward to the long gind for thewar hero gear. After those 2 days, I hit the cancel button.

The free 30 days is for active subs AND if you have a character at lvl 50. After patch 1.2 hit Thursday I hit the cancel button. 10 minutes after, they released the news on the free 30 days so I subscribed again. The 30 days kicks in on the next billing cycle (for me its the 18th) so once it kicks in, I will be hitting the cancel button again.

Im a sorc healer in full BM gear and I stopped playing Friday night. I tried the new system Thursday evening and couldnt stand the fact that they totally ruined my class. I went back Friday with a fresh outlook and tried to make it work. Sorc healers in its new state is total garbage. They nerfed our heals, made everyone else stronger and took away my dark infusion quick heal. I can now get stunned and get killed before the stun wears off. Due to the long cast times, I can no longer use dark infusion because I get stunned or interrupted. ToR was fun while it lasted but I will just spend my money on another company that has some sort of clue on how to run an mmo.

This patch is total fail. Pvp is now a complete joke. Sorc healers are now worthless. Alacrity is a total joke. No reason to stay in war zones any more. This patch broke stuff more than it fixed. I was a big fan of this game before this patch and was actually excited about it. After today, I have no reason to play this pos any longer. Cancel button here I come.

Many MMO veterans will say the game feels incomplete.  Sure, they can add all that stuff later on, but they should build a solid foundation first.  I've listed some examples in the past, as well as other people.
Bottom line: The game is incomplete, with missing, and broken important features

Long time MMO player here, and IMO this game is one of the more complete titles to release in the genre for a long time. I see very little to backtrack on, and many areas where they can hit the ground running.

All the gaming stores are opening at midnight to sell swtor. And yes, there are lines to purchase it. Lets hope that this maintenance period has something to do with upgrading their servers to allow more people on. If not, the ques are really gonna suck tomorrow.

QUES!!!!!!!!!

Tried to log into "The Fatman" yesterday at 3:30pm Had to wait an hour with over 600 people in the que. Got booted off a few hours later only to put back in a que with 1300 people in front of me. Now I know its free time right now so thats ok. But they better find a remedy before the 20th. Other than ques, this game is almost flawless. Best launch Ive ever been a part of.

There were around 19,000 pre orders in July. If you pre ordered in July, its a safe bet that you will be playing tomorrow.

The new modern warfare game just hit a BILLION dollars in sales today.

I just bought an imac about 3 months ago and I installed bootcamp running 32 bit windows 7 os. I played the beta with all the settings maxed out and I got zero lag and zero cdt's. The only problem I had was the mac got very hot and I had to install an app where I could over ride the fan speed to keep it cool.

Specs are 2.5GHz quad core, intel core i5 processor
4gb ddr3 ram
AMD HD6750M graphics card 512mb ram

I am also running the new mac os which is lion.

I also deleted and reinstalled. Didnt want to take the chance.

ToR will be in competition with WoW for the most subscribers for about a year after release. Blizzard will win in this war because they know better than anyone how to retain subs. Tor will be known as the second most successful mmo.

7/21/11 I preordered 3 hours after it started so I'm sure I will be on the first day.

Ran perfect on high settings on an Imac5 running bootcamp. Had to download a cooling fan app due to the imac getting very very hot after an hour of playing.
