Yeah it was tough just trying to figure out what I could say, but if I lose my beta spot over that paragraph well then its my own fault but hopefully Mythic would give me a break since I didnt say anything that gives out too much detail...lol.

I took a chance of posting just because I had to say something with all the doomsday posts and to hopefully ease some peoples minds and if it did that then I guess I wouldnt be too pissed about losing my spot.

This has got to be one of the toughest things I have had to do in these forums for a long time and some of you people make it even harder.

What is so tough you ask? Reading these posts and not being able to say anything. Why can I not say anything? Well, I am in the Beta and I am seeing first hand what is going on in the game and you can pretty much see by me not breakin the NDA that the game is pretty damn good in my opinion.

Trust me I know its tough, I was sitting on the outside looking in myself waiting for any type of news or leak to the game and now seeing the game first hand and then looking at some of these posts you want to scream all over the place but unfortunately we can't.

Be patient peeps War is coming and it is coming hard. Will it be the next big thing? I cannot say for sure since there are many gamers with different styles of play but I do know I have finally found my new home in gaming for a while.

Playing Vanguard but not sure for how much longer since I am testing another game atm.

Think at the Baltimore Gamesday they said they could run the game on 3 or 4 year old computers but they still do not have any requirements set yet.

As long as the other character is on the same server and same side (allince or horde) then you just send it to the other character in the mail, it happens instantly.

I actually subscribed before the free month.., though I missed out on the free month I am very happy with what I have seen with the game and will continue to subscribe for now.

Because I had just checked my beta account last week and nothing, I read this post and figured what the hell just check my account even though I never recieved an email. Well, I check my account BAM! Beta Account slaps me upside the head and says wake up boy, War is coming!

Good reads. Even though the gaming trend is put out shit and hope you keep enough players to help pay to finish the game, I am still gonna take a chance on this game. Will I get burnt? I could but something just tells me this will be a good game IF the parts that are finished are actually finished.

Can we trust Dev's nowadays? Honestly I would say no, but in this case the Dev team has been forth coming about anything negative and I think deserving a little respect for doing it. Could this all be a marketing ploy? Sure, anything is possible but you know what, I am willing to take that chance because of the way this Dev team has been.

I could get burnt but I am willing to take that chance because I need and want a new long time game, a new home. This game has a lot of things I am interested in, I just hope it comes through. If not, well, it may be time for me to walk away from MMO's for a while until someone finally figures out how to do it right the first time.

LBP was definately an interesting watch, love the photo finish. Spore looks interesting as well.

It wasnt too bad community wise until after they gave the free month away. There are quite a few good peeps out there that try to help as much as they can, but there are definately those that just want to come in the game to be asshats.

This happens in any game unfortunately, there are times I see veterans argue in chat because someone acted like an ass towards someone who asked a question so there are good ones out there, just have to weed out the garden so the flowers can bloom.

I figured the instant casts you could move it was more of the timed spells I was wondering about which I should of clarified in the original post.

Thanks for the replies and glad you all agree with me so far, was beginning to wonder if I was the only one who prefered this type of casting. I hope we will be allowed to move but I guess we will have to wait until NDA is lifted and hope a beta tester can answer this for us.

Without breaking NDA, has anyone seen or read anything about casters being able to move while casting?

One thing that I always loved in Vanguard was that we can actually move around while spell casting, we moved much slower during the cast but it was still a very enjoyable feature. I hate having to stand still while casting a spell so I was hoping someone might have seen or read something.

could be simply get a idea of what everyone is thinking. Iv really had nothing to do today besides talking to some friends on vent and play tf2, been prty un eventfull when ya have plans that fall through.

I voted to play this fall, but I wont say I am not concerned about the changes. This is the first game I have EVER bought a CE to, I just hope it turns out to be the great game I was hoping it would be.
