Relax will you?  These guys have been working hard on their product.  It will be released when it's released and should prove to be a good game.  And I am not a "fanbois".  So you can just quiet the cakehole there pal.  Pirates of the Carribean is being released very very soon, and is a rush job.  This game has only been worked on the past year.  Of course there was probably a lot more money pumped into it, because PoTBS wouldn't give Disney their game.  Now they are releasing pretty close to one another.  First out out wins, right?  Wrong.

Go play PotC if you want to run around in a big budget game.  I am going for quality, PotBS for me.

I have been watching and waiting for this game since the start.  Actually the game has been in development over 4 years... I think it was 2001 when I first started watching it.  So thats like 6 years.  They were just a bunch of people meshed together to make something good. 

I have no problem with them waiting another year to release as I have waited this long.  They even revamped the game engine and added some new eyecandy and areas like running around and fighting with your captain... something they said that would not be likely to happen 3 years ago.  Now they have it (granted the last videos I saw, doesn't look that good with the captain view) and the ships are beautiful.  They take player comments, content and critisism very seriously. 

Right now (as its been 5 months since I have checked back in) I am not sure they even have a publisher, and actually, I hope they never do.  These guys will do what no one has done before.  Start in a basement with a MMO and expand it with quality content that the gamers deserve with constant dev feedback.

These guys are doing right.  No need to bash em, and no way in hell will this be a Vanguard game.  So bite your tongue.

What may or not not have been justified in the punishments issued, coming back and trying again, publicly, might not be the best way to go about it.  The folks here at MMORPG are pretty cool at allowing us to post such comments about games that would get us banned on the official game boards.

Let sleeping dogs lie, dude.  If you have a problem, take it up with the staff, to go nuts out here without doing that is just slapping them in the nuts, cause you aren't even sure of what happend.

I don't remember SoE having me click on a payment key to re-activate my account on a free weekend special.  I know, I did the EQ, Planetside, SWG, EQ2, Matrix (I know, I am ashamed of this,,, beta was ok,, high hopes), etc.

Wow had a free comeback weekend? 

WoW had some trial where you enter your cc and you can play for like 14 days except you cant really use all the chat functions.

Look, PlayNC is a company, and I am sorry... You reactivated your account, you played, you didn't like what you saw, and you want them to give you your money back?  LOL, that's funny. 

I have been playing MMOs since UO, heck even MUDs.. and well, a "come back and try it again" promotion has never had you reactivating your account.  Ever.

The newsletter stated that you just log on and you will be able to play.  Your complaints show that you need to think about what the problem is, instead of coming here and blowing up when you are the one at fault.

Droid commander... there were several droid commanders in the Star Wars Universe (movie wise and expanded universe).

I am glad they finally realized of what myself and others in my circle came to know was a great idea.  I wonder who got fired for this to happen.

Pilot was the first inception of this system.  Now they are including the same deal, only it takes your total expertise points to actually be good at it.  And I love it.  It shows that your character pays more attention to the growing and maintaining of their beast (if that is the route you want to take) instead of being proficient at firing a carbine, or mastering Force Choke...

Droid commander would be an excellent addition, but they need to actually bring em in a similar line with beastmaster (and this is where SOE screwed up last time balancing between droids and critters with the Droid Engineer and Bio Engineer).  A LOT more droid types will have to be introduced in the SWG 'verse in order to make this work.  Cause I for one, do NOT want to see everyone running around with a droideka, because that's lame... no wait, I'm seeing it now.  There are tons of droid frames out there.  IG-88 , HK-47 type (already in game), and tons of others.  Give protocol droids guns... sheesh.

If the OP is on the ball with the information, I welcome it.... Finally give crafters something to do, but the whole Pokemon thing (still a deletable word on the SOE boards hehe) is a sad byproduct of this.  I can't wait to see what happens.

I am a Week 1 vet of SWG (takes a while to ship to Japan, dumb APO). 

I have played through the PreCU, CU, NGE and then I quit.  Just got old. Boring, dull.

The new crafter stuff,,, might be interesting to look at though.  This Pokemon stuff, eh... the "mini games" they mention will no doubt be pokemon battles.  I must admit though,,, so modify the game engine to be able to change the critters look on the fly is very awesome.

But SoE is notorious for having the crappiest Customer Support in the industry.  That irks the crap out of me.

I payed for a month just now and logged in with my Master Crafter... He is level 90 instead of 5 now and has a slew of options for expertise stuff... I think that is interesting.  Maybe I'll give it a full go around... or maybe I'll just stick with EVE.

I am upset as I remember having a couple of 100+ war mage and archer/item mage (quit around the time of the new portal "collection" area was made).

I have no intention of spending 20 bucks in addition to the 20 bucks needed for the game for a maybe LOL.  Although I am sure I have some nice gear on there, even though archers seem to suck now heh.

Darktide server is out for me, while I like to PvP, I really dont want someone camping me when I am too small to defend myself hehe.

Well, I played AC back in the day for about a yearish or so?  Can't remember why I stopped, probably the fact that SWG came out.  Anyways.  While I am currently in EVE... I am curious about AC as it is THE game of which I base all other games on.  Everything was inovative and new with it.

1.  Content Updates.  Does this happen often?  Are there still CSRs and Developers adding to the community?

2.  Player Population.  Is there one?  Or are there only a couple hundred people on?

3.  Dont have the CD, is there a place I can download the game or buy the expansion to get the full version of the game to re-open my account?  Or must I buy a new game with a new key just to re-activate my sub?

4.  Has  PvP been improved in game?  And the AMWAY style of guilds, this is still going on?

5.  Any other info would be appreciated.
