The question is:

Can I assume that the file I downloaded is patched up-to-date?  And therefore will not allow me past that point because there is nothing left until Sept 7th?

So everything is cool?

So I got my open beta client downloaded.

I installed it

I get a box that asks for username/password.

I put it in, enter..

And the box goes to a patching screen then flashes back to the box.

I try it 3 times and it tells me too many tries.

I'm sure i have the correct info.

Is it not letting me patch because the beta isn't open yet, or what?

If they deserved credit, they would still be gainfully employed.

Ok here's the deal:

I got a 1.8 Duel Core proccessor, and 2 gigs of ram.

That's what makes me wonder..

I can run EQ2, Tabula Rasa, and Quake Wars.

Will VG run well?

There's plenty of reasons not to want to play WoW at the moment.
