I can see why he compares it to WoW. Probably cus of all the "WoW killer" nonsence that's been cruising the web all theese years.

However it's right to compare it to WoW or not he definitly hit the right spot. That the game needs the specific "IT" which he described as "feel". It could be gruesomely ugly, bulky, imbalanced or crazy in many ways, but as long as it has the right "FEEL" it can still charm your heart. If they felt WAR lacked alot of that FEEL, it was definitly a good decision the game got delayed.

Also you guys can't seriously think that blizzard has announced all the features that will be in Wrath of the Lich King, they are adding more features to defuse little party popper that is WAR as we speak.

Lastly for the people with very limited understand of english, I didn't say all people just that the majority of people have put WAR as a 3rd of 6th game on their list, or perhaps I just don't talk to enough people that live in their cubes.

No the evidence is all there, mmorpg.com is just as shell of what it used to be and is now only serving special interest groups.

The answer to your question is that people LOOK FORWARD to WAR because they think it will be a good game.

I stated what they'd have to implement if they wanted to try and compete with AoC. Wether AoC has the things I listed or not.

The thing is, there is no AoC vs WAR to begin with. WAR's got their target locked onto WoW. And to try and make a better, richer game of it. If they were competing against AoC, they would make a sandbox game (real time city building, in-depth crafting and more of a world simulator with next gen graphics). But they don't. Cus they are not making that kind of game.

The thing I reacted upon was just the irrelevance of your post. You come here out of the blue saying WAR ain't a better game just cus it might sell more. But if you didn't understand a simple thing like that to begin with you are probably very immature and full of fanboy-ism to begin with and probably won't change one's ground out of reading a post like urs. Let theese threads belong where the fanboy wars are blooming the most (which is not here in the WAR forum) or do as you probably is better of doing, ignore them. Cus we all know they don't lead anywhere anyway.

What the heck? What's the point with this..? Are you sad AoC don't sell more than WAR? I bet all my money that WAR will sell x10 more than AoC after they have both had a fair time after both are released.

Many reasons, WAR is a simpler game, WARHAMMER franchise, computer hardware differences and commercial.

Still I think it's a pretty useless thread, what is there to discuss when you didn't bring up any subject?

I guess the strongest haters are just using flaming to get the info they need to hear about the game.

If they fear it being a WoW clone they make a post saying "This game is a wow clone!" to get people to post the reasons not.

It's painful to me not having a credit card. I'm running around trying to find a game shop where I can buy the game from! But there are only EB Games and Game in a radius of which I can get to without having to pay a fortune for the transport.

EB Games are all like "What? Uh... we don't know... or do we? Oh, come back tomorrow!" and then they'r still like "Oh well, still haven't heard anything... are you sure that .... uh ok well we don't know, come back tomorrow!". Game are kinda the same but I think they will get something untill the 10'th...

I'm deeply dissapointed by this stupid mechanic called stealth and I got the impression they would not add it to the game.

However the question is now how EFFECTIVE the stealth will be in PvP. I don't care 1% how good it's in PvE but if it is a stupid "WoW-peekaboo" type of stealth which rogues uses I will chase WAR with a hammer set on fire
