i am biased toward WOW, and not afraid to post my mind about it. French owned,  upper management ran by the french, the original blizzard north crew a memory because of this, has left a sour outlook in anything blizzard does. As more and more mmo's come out WOW does one thing after another to keep its customers and that thing is Monty Hall it.

the things people bitched about but never got suddenly appeared, gear, gold, mounts, etc. Some call WOW the world of "daily" craft now, a monicker some hate, but true none the less.

Quality? i wouldnt go that far, its more giving into pressures from alot of the new and interesting mmo's that are forcing "quality", and trying to hold onto subs, at least thats what i see.

no comment on EA mythic.

having stated i am not buying for a few more months yet i am over at my brothers house (much his to wife's cooking chagrin, alot)  i constantly check the game out and see what goes on.

he recently was frozen out for a day, the 27th, then got funcom email unfreezing his account (and others i imagine) because of the cd key mishap with the CE editions, the reason they were pulled and the reason they were short, this via email from funcom, excerp below.

"the cd key problem was only with the ce editions and not the regular editions" 

the 30th is fast approaching, no ce edition from amazon yet (sent snaimail, why these morons didnt send it upgraded shipping because of their foulup is beyond me, est delivery the 30th to him) and funcom was/is giving this "minority" as they stated in the email till the 30th now to input a cd key or the account is frozen again. i will have to go over to his place tonight and watch as he get frozen again, the wife loves that part though (grin)

one, i am mixed that i waited, i like what i see, but because of this lack of customer service and contact/honesty between funcom the retailers and the consumers, i think i would have popped a top. he has more patience than i would and though i am still interested i am eyeing warhammer now with all this stuff going on. i am suggesting he make a complaint to the BBB also.

If your an engineer you need your credentials revoked at once with an excuse like that. since the typed language and all it's punctuation and proper form is needed in your plans, ideas or white papers you would publish/print. being misunderstood or having something not taken correctly would be disaster in your field of work.

recant is a simple world of daily craft fanboi. unable to give up time invested and quick to judge anything "they dont like" or that is not in keeping with their goals and desires. wierd how folks continue to do this.

simply put, opinionate posts like this do nothing but increase the fanbois post count. folks need to get a handle on their own lack of wisdom (in the bad sense) and before they post understand what it truly means to give an opinion and not be opinionated.

to date i have not seen a single competant review done by anyone or any mmorpg forum or site that isnt opinionated in some way. whatever happened to unbiased reporting? "i have done this, i have done that", who cares! make a simple factual report that doesnt include your life history or what you like or dislike. As dull as it is, this type of reporting is needed. havent seen any in years, litteraly.

reading these threads about disparages in either cd keys not working AND the lack of product being sent out i have an asumption, keep in mind only a very very small portion use any type of forum to report this problem.

they (funcom) screwed up and have had to recall alot of boxes based on the hundreds if not thousands of incorrect cd key issues. its not that amazon or whatever retailer didnt have them , its that the keys were found to be bad and yanked, now they are busy fixing this and getting orders refilled.

whatcha think, sound plausable?

Heh, my brother got an email earlier today from amazon, stating :

"although funcom is suspending all subs without a retail cd key may 27th your progress will still be saved so when you do get your retail box you can add the key and continue"

it just keeps getting better, bahahaha

..........words just dont describe my bro's face upon reading that, he is one that hasnt got and looks like wont get till after the 27th, (giggle)

no, really i find this quite funny. and to think i was giving second thoughts to waiting. those are now gone.

i can just see the funcom meetings and the finger pointing..................ahhh, chuckle.

recently i *cough* played this game at the behest of a niece, and her experiance upon........(guess the mother unit accidently cancelled the sub) restarting the game..............*grin* such that it is.

the cartoony stuff is great for kids, looks like lots of quests, but meh my play time amounted to 2 hours and change before i wanted to gouge my eyes out. this thread is to address the eula and disney customer service, which i read and eventually explained to the young one why they do what they do, its all about money, disney doesnt like children, they like people that make money and can give it to them.

the first mistake i found with a "disney" product like this was pretty brutal. not only can you cancel early, but the bonus is you lose all play time, even if you paid for that month, close the sub the 5th, lose the rest of the month, explain that to a kid!! (grin) the second fault i saw with a "disney" product was the time invested aspect, (of which i dont condone) but again the kid............everything she had worked up to was locked out until a new sub was started, again,losing all money and play time in this instance.

again i explained things and talked to the disney email guru's and they simply sent me the eula which i promptly told them to shove up their (bleep) and told them to explain to the child in terms they would understand, what had happened and why......they refused. cowards.

so to disney i say this..............your just like sony.

It's looking very good for WAR, the more I look at it, the more I feel WAR will be a huge succes, I mean by the milions, maybe a few milions but that's a lot, maybe really hurting WOW if it is good enough. Sadly by good I mean appealing to the masses, this is the only fear I have.

have you seen this guy trolling the forums?!! i never though things would look so bad for him. i bet this has alot to do with the recent hillary clinton interview on cinnamon roll baking.

its looking very good for  making cinnamon rolls, the more i bake, the more folks look at my success at making them. maybe i will bake so many, millions will try them, maybe a few millions but that's alot, maybe really hurting WOW if they are good enough to make people stop and eat. sadly by good i mean appealing to the masses, this is the only fear i have....for cinnamon rolls that is.
