Good Edkenny, the game is already lacking people, but you rudely suggestion that they go elsewhere for a game that's better than this. (Which people have no problem finding) You're not doing Turbine any favor by getting rid of potential customers.

IMHO I think the game is pretty good. They added a lot more quest now over 120 I think with more each month. You can solo now to level 4 on some quest with more being added in a few days to level 6.  All I can say is take the free trial again and see if it is better then the last time you played. As to players on there are always people on and groups forming for all the quest.

Can you please post a link to the poll as I have looked all over that sight and not seen it. As to the other things you have said well I find it hard to believe Anyone in a compnay as turbine that has this kinf of info would one tell anyone and would let said info out  to the public. Guess we will find out in the comming year. As for the new cd comming out  those of us that play the game knew about it 5 months ago as they said as much on the sight and all you had to d oto go to a ebgames or game stop to pre order it.

I have plaied Wow, and still play SWG (I know) But grouping in DDO is great. I  find a lot of good groups and I group with most of the same people that I met on my first day. It is great we have a great time sometimes we just chat while we quest and just stand there while the npcs respawn and just talk about things going on in our lives.  One of my friends got his wife to play and she loves it. It is funy to hear her ask if she can have Item X  that he found in a chest  or as an end reward so she can use it.

Joker you hit the nail on the head, full on. This game has a lot of good and some bad, but that is life. Do not forget the built in voice chat that helps with groups, that is nice to have.

I think we will be getting both monks and druids with the up date around September. That is what they told me. If that is true or not will be seen. I do not trust to many people for this reason.

is there gold farming yes there is but not on the level I have seen in other games,as it is easier to get your own gold and sell off items you do not need. Right now you can solo only a few quest starting out , level 1 to 4 with  up yo level 6 in a week. I have a 12th level fighter that I solo a lot more with but I have more fun in a group. the game is gearded to groups more then solo play but there is solo play. There is a loot table for each chest in the game thart there will always something there for you. I sometimes just do loot runs when I can not find a group which is not offten. Take the trial and see if you like it. My toons name is Dieter I play on the Thelanis server and head a guild if you do want to try it look me up, I have a lot of friends both high and low level and we be glad to help you on quest and show you around.

Long dungons take any where from 45 mins. to over an hour. 

Yea I have the high res installed. yea you had to get the DVD version as my girl and friends have the CD-ROM version  and it shows.

I have faced the dragon 2 time and only beat him once in a group, but that is what made it fun. The group was the big point for me not the dragon which was great looking by the way. I have a high end machine and the graphics are great with DDO, on SWG which I did play they are dated and it shows. There is no new stuff in SWG but in DDO new stuff every month for FREE. Call me a fanboy all you want looks like I am in good company from what I see here.

DDO is comming out with an expansion pack in march. New lands, new classes, and new feats.

My Fighter has tumble and yes I wear =5 armor so it works out well for me. CaptainRpg get bent.

Most of the old and traditional players have left. When I played last October, the people who replace them were people the immature people from WoW or GW. You had idiots on never early server who didn't roleplay and they spent after their time swinging their swords at you while you in the inn. In otherwords, DDO is another WoW or GW clone depending on what angle you look at. They've done nothing original and the game is even less original now that add elements we've seen before in OTHER MMORPGs.

For me, I wouldn't get the game since it's obviously still imcomplete and the game is probably only being kept online until LOTR MMORPG comes out. I'm not suggesting, you don't buy the game, but I would just play the free trial before buying it to see if you are still interested.

BTW, if you think DDO graphics and gameplay are good then clearly, you haven't played many games. I just got finish playing NWN2 and if it weren't for the bugs and the constant crashing, I'd say you'd be better playing NWN2 because the gameplay is a lot more fun and the graphics are more appealing than the crap Turbine spewed out here. That and the game is free.

Ok captin rpg I read 90% of all your post and you have nothing nice to say about any mmorpg or anyone. Since you like to flame everything and everyone, for the season sake can you say one good thing about any game on here with out trying to flame someone. I mean you know so much why not make your own mmorpg and market it so we can all play it.  If you teach your students to think for themselves then why are you pushing the people on here to see things in your way and agree with you.  Aren't you being hypocritical.
