As for why it would reasonably work even though you're putting less in the fuel has less attraction with itself so it ends up filling a wider space/mixing better inside the piston optimizing the fuel to O2 mix. _________________________________________________________________ As for being 20% it's the law of massive numbers. 20% on one semi isn't much but 20% running on a good number of semi's in the US is massive(technically the test semi's reported 12-16% though). Now lets say you can get 10% on trains that get 150 to 250 Miles on a gallon of fuel that adds up a lot faster as well, the fact that you're drawing from the battery is deffiantly no issue there as well since they generate more electricity than battery storage. The device is pretty simple looks like a bunch of copper coil and maybe some electronics which most likely falls under compacitors only. |

Well techincally it actually involves putting an electical device around your fuel hose that 'thins' it out so that less is put into the pistons. giving you around a 20% increase in how far you can travel on the same tank. The creator is working on getting a patent actually licensed right now to one company. It'll be a big sucess since it can be put on current and old cars, and works for gas/diesel/biodiesal/(probably ethonal), and has the potential of being able to get better efficencies with more R&D hours pumped into it(bad pun I'm wondering how much that company will be selling it for. They're literally going to lining their pockets with cash since it would be able to save billions upon billions dollars of diesel money in the trucking industry. www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/09/080925111836.htm

You need to think about Obama saying if you need me call along the lines of: "Hey it's my job to represent the people(of Illinois), but hey who cares I have better stuff do do"... That's not what I want in a president.
both the canidates are soo messed up that you're litterally stuck having to decide who would be the least worse. |

Dungeons and dragons (RL). While it's not a grind because of it's medium, trying to turn it into a video game makes it so. |

They're being perfectly loyal to the fan base. It's not much of an MMO if the playerbase stays goes slack. |

Q:What about caves/mines where I can gather resources and which have always been PvP zones?
Not being able to loot in a game will hardly kill it. There's still the areanas as well. You still get the resource node from the person since they obviously won't be able to harvest it any further. Dieing also makes someone lose their built up/charged stats so depending you could have someone lose up to 3 levels worth of earned stat bonuses. As for not being skill based every class gets every base skill everyone has healing, archery, swords, and magic. The classes are just what you specilize in.
TCoS isn't and never was aiming at being a sandbox game. |

Form an utterly basic MMO like WoW/Everquest add whatever focus you want to (PvP, raiding, PvP-raid, territory control). Now think about what the traditional expansion does add 10 levels and eventually reduce leveling rate of lower levels so people can catch up with 'the crowd'.
Now lets just go over what I'd rather see: bring back the classic remort. starting your character over again at level 1 but with some new abilities/honor skills. Basically at the expansion you add some high level content that people can go through after beating it they get the ability to remort their character. The content is repeatable it has some nice gear drops but you can only get 1 remort per expansion. After using the remort your character is set back to level 1 but at the reset screen(which also lets you change appearance or whatever) you're givin the ability to change your attribute growth a little bit (along the lines of increase the growth rate of a characteristic or two) and are given some honor skills attributed to that same attribute. (if you take strength as a mage/warrior/whatever you get the ability to use some unique skills related to choosing that 'honor' and a few dupicates to warrior skills. If you take spirit you get some healing and defense skills some unique others not. pretty much you get the picture).
Now lets look at what this does. This means your level cap doesn't increase, it also means that that there isn't a 'the crowd' you need to catch in order to do stuff with other people, makes it so there's a distrubution of players through out the whole world(ease of load balancing), and provides a way so that old players can go back and enjoy the company of friends if they get someone new to join. You also make it so that the 'endgame' isn't as relevant and can adjust your focus away from it and to other mehcanics.
So who thinks this is worse/better than current expansion mechanics. Obviously you can tie other stuff to it instead of just skills and stat growth, something like unlock being able to use ceremonial weapons, RP abilities(change your teleport portal to a portal made of vines), or just about anything else. Also what do people think that would be best to make it so that a remort is worth remorting without making it so worth it that it becomes a grind just so you get to the remort location so you can start over again. |
