I really like the greenskins maybe a orc choppa but it seems like the opposite is gonna happen with WoW and everyone is gonna be destruction, so if thats what happens ill go order and be a warrior priest or witch hunter. |

Well both games look great. SWG has player cities, its a ok feature nothing to impressive. What I dont like about player cities is that it creates ghost towns and would spread out the population to much. Only thing that worries me about AoC is if that lag will play a influence with pvp. I dont know about you but I would get pretty frustrated in pvp when my target is warping and rubberbanding across the map. Or chasing a target for a long time just to hit him. With WAR what has me interested is of course the massive pvp. You can lvl through pvp and pve whicjh is nice and the global quest feature seems cool. ill try both games each has its strong points and only time will tell how each game turns out. |

I dont mind waiting, I rather have a good soild game come out then playing bugged version of the game. Sure most mmo´s have bugs when released but i rather not pay for a beta version of a game on release day. It will hurt them more in the long run if they try to hurry and push PotBS when its not ready yet. |

Hopefully this lawsuit helps stop all the annyoing chat spam in WoW but I doubt it since theres allways a demand for it.

I was following swg since about 1 year before it came out when the oringal release date was in december then pushed back to june. I played in the last stage of beta testing. Then bought the game when it was released. I still remember when the game was released the servers were so overloaded no one could log in on the first day or just maybe log in for a couple of hours till the game crashed on you. My first server was Starsider because it was the unoffical rp server. My guild was the 2nd one on my server (1st rebel guild) to have there guild hall up. Was my fav mmorpg till cu then nge came out. I quit a few months later nge came out trying to give it a chance but all my friends left and the community changed. I played for about 4 yearsish.

I agree, I played swg for 4 years including beta till the nge emptied the servers of all the true vet players. It really bothered me when nge hit. I loved the feel and the atsmosphere prenge had or even precu. It was really different and unique. Sure it had its flaws at first like the holo grind and melee defence stackers but the community was awesome. I havnt played a mmorpg yet that had a better community (ive played a lot of them). It really did feel like a virtual chat room and pvp was awesome (Bestine/AH or Theed/Moe raids anyone?)
Maybe because this was my first mmorpg but I have many great memories of classic swg and made great friends its sad to see all that potential this game had wasted. I wasnt a SW fan till I played this game. I dont hate soe now just really really really disapointed at them for turning there back to the community. Owell I guess I just need to hope swgemu turns alright. |
