First of all, there is a third faction that will attack the dominate one to balance things out, second NCsoft has tried to keep servers as balanced as possible, you can see this on their website under servers. They even have locked a few to keep the balance. Clearly most of you don't actually look into the game and just came to this topic to bitch about a game you clearly know little about. I find it surprising how quickly this entire site went right to hell. I honestly will be trying AION out myself because you never know till you try. Also for those of you that are not looking forward to this game I have one question. Why the hell are you posting about it?

It's called sexism, and I doubt it will disappear from the western world for a long time. Like you stated it makes money, and making money seems to be the main goal of most things today. Be that big corporation or individual person.

I remember reading on the new update that they increased the xp or something, how much easier is it to level? Because when I played the main turn off was the level grind. Like has it changed that much?

I loved the game but the bugs were just terrible :-S. I do agree thought that it is one of the last immersive MMOs to come out recently, it reminded me of everquest 1, except with a bunch of problems...

The game looks fine to me. It's a bit dated but the textures and game in general looks amazing.

It will die out with age, age is one thing that no mmorpg will ever be able to out live. I'm concerned though because since WoW has become so popular many other companies will just copy it, trying to gain it's success and I believe this will end up ruining the genre for a long time.

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy XI. I enjoy this mmorpg because it has a main story line and cut sences, a very good job system, and it's the right pace for me, it doesn't have like row of skills i have to click like every second that all the new mmo's seem to enjoy making me do.

They do have a huge asian player base but i believe they only have about 4 million players or so, and i believe that lineage 1 is still more popular in asia as well and still have millions of players.

i heard it was one of the most popular mmo's in korea because its not just about the combat.

i get groups easy as pie it's just in lotro people aren't screaming the channels "LFG LFG LFG" most people keep to their small niches so normal i just do i search in the area and ask a person if they want to group or if a person is in the same area as the quest I'm doing i just as if he wants to work together. 90% of the time it works the reason it might not seem like there are many people play is because the big chat channels like ooc or zone ones are rarely ever used in lotro.

sort of like lotro's looks like vanguards and vanguard's looks like wow? All mmo's copy shit from other mmos its how the genre works.

there is great looking armor in the game but its not always the best thats why they added the appearance tab, which is somthing i hope all mmos adopt.

vanguard in my personal opinion is the only game to get the bard right :-). If you choose to play one you'll enjoy it trust me!

well since it was reduced down to only a few servers the servers are greatly populated and i love it :-)

Forced raiding? Everquest is a RAID game. Plus i like everquest 1,2 and vanguard to much to hate them
