In general the only multi-box runners I had a problem with were the zerg gold farmers (thinking specifically of L2 here). Overall, if someone wants to play a multi-box rig, let them. In WAR I don't think it will be easy. I didn't find a follow command (I was looking for a way to tag onto the leader in some of the Scenarios so I could protect them easier). If you have a healer/buff bot sitting over in the corner, they MIGHT be able to level, but in general I don't think it will work. They will pull aggro or you will get far enough out of range so they don't get XP. While it might be done, I don't see it as a workable solution over time. |

Perhaps if you (OP) decided which side (Order or Chaos) you preferred versus which class..the decision would be someone easier? |

Crafting is more of a 'bonus' for the game. Not something to make or break the play but items will give you a helping hand. I worked the apothecary after I had gotten a stack of general items for the craft. I am most interested in Talisman making because I had quite a few gray items which has open slots for upgrades. These often had better armor bonuses than the greens which I was wearing but the greens had stats to offset the minor + to the armor the grays had. I am wondering if some of the gray items with a class specific talisman might end up being better overall to certain areas of the game, i.e. carry a set of gray 'talisman' items for PvE and have a set of greens/blues etc for PvP. *shrug* Time will tell.

I think some folks have already said it but take the OPs' comments as 'IMO' versus 'hard fact'. It is unlikely the OP played ANY of the classes up to a break point where each diverge in their specialties from the others. Everyone is pretty much equal if you play them right. Will some be a bit overpowered in some areas? Sure. Work a char within it's own specialty and it should be. Just play what you like/enjoy and have fun. |

After playing the WP, RP and Archmage I came to the conclusion that RP was the purest healer. The WP was a good healer for front line in the thick of combat type-healer (as you mentioned) and the Archmage was more of a mage/healer (RP+BW=Archmage). I wasn't fond of the balance (offensive and defensive casting required to get balance/max effectiveness) thing with the Archmage, personally but that's just because of the way I play. |

GO buy more ram and quit being a PC noob.
Or set up a Readyboost flash drive to bolster your RAM. Not as good as adding actual RAM, of course but a lot better than constant paging. |

I didn't tell my wife that WAR was closed for two weeks. I figured I'd earn some good-will points whenever she asks 'You going to play your game?' and I reply with 'No. Lots to do around the house'...or..'No I just want to spend the time with you.' (Of course I'll be working out gameplay/tactics in my head but she'll never know! HAHA!) |

One thing to consider in comparing WAR to AoC in terms of the betas. AoC was very limited. Only to Tortage for the FP subs and then that fiasco with the open PK bloodbath weekend. There wasn't enough of a sample to get a god taste. And more importantly, they 'hid' issues they knew were in the system. WAR gave the CE testers (which means 60K potential customers) a good ten days and the Standard pre-orders (who knows how many hundreds of thousands of potential customers) 3 days this round and probably a week when the OB starts. Most importantly, WAR stated very plainly. 'THESE things are broken. We know. We broke them! (Thinking specifically of the pathing/aggro issues) We're making them number 1 TO-DO items!' No hiding. Fully embracing the issues and beginning the address them now wit a couple weeks to go before even the OB hits. Mythic is pretty sure of what it can accomplish and AoC just shoveled things under the rug hoping people wouldn't find out before it was too late. |

You have to have PvP to get RvR. Think of all the scenarios, mixed PQs (where PCs of both sides interact with each other and NPCS) and standard Open PvP 'Keep Warfare' each as one instance of PvP that add up to the RvR total. So they are not interchangeable but in WAR, they are intertwined. You can lose the battle (PvP) but still win the WAR (RvR)! (Of course in this case the winners will be the Order side..damn Chaos scum!) |

In general it's pretty even across the board. And if you figure at least 300K (A lot more I am sure but just to pick a number) these votes only equal 1% of the total votes. ...so far. Go WAR! |

Okay, I know it might be a bit much to ask (it isn't really but in general it tends to be) but I would ask some of the folks who absolutely MUST rule in scenarios to go a little easier on new folks. I was in the same Scenario repeatedly on day 1 of the PW. I already knew the scenario from being in the CB last week. A lot of new folks who didn't know also joined. Khaine's Discipline is a hard one to get for new folks. Let's face it. Grab both flags, easy right? Not when Khaine levees his Discipline. People want to know why 'God' kills them. Then we have the 'OMG. This is the worst we've ever done' and ' Geez. WTF you people don't F'ing...etc'. Okay those folks knew exactly what they were doing the first time they ever entered a Scenario. They are UBER. No Question. But please be a bit more polite to newcomers. Stop running around for a minute and explain. Folks WILL get it and that ends up helping everyone in the long/short runs. All on the same side, right? Also, especially in the early (1st Tier) scenario, you get a lot of new players who jump in based on a quest they get early on. At least 3 times I ran Khaines and I was the highest level at a whopping 7. All my team mates in those instances topped out at .........WOOHOO 4. Sure we got steamrolled. They were new, didn't have the skills the opposing side did (at least 4 of the Chaos team were 7 or 8 in level). What the heck do the UBER LEET players expect? It was fun watching some of the same people queue up with me and after running it once or twice, getting the hang of it. Of having a healer stay back with me at the flag with maybe a tank to guard (I was running an SW). Of having people follow out to the edge of the blast radius and then figure how to run back up and tap the flag before Chaos did etc. When Casters figured how to tap an enemy at range to break them from getting our local flag. FUN STUFF FOLKS! Enjoy it! End Summary. Be polite and don't knock someone because they are new. Tomorrow, when they aren't so new, they may save your life.

If you don't like and know you won't like it with no reservation, then it's best take yourself out of the running. For me, I find it rather amazing primarily because I never used to PvP and now I just can't get enough. Once I got my first character to 5 or 6 and jumped into my first Scenario (admittedly, I was lost when I did. I just started killing red guys figuring that was safe) I just could not get enough! Unless I have some quests that I have decided to cap first, I queue up ASAP and jump right in (I don't leave groups if I'm in a PQ, of course). I love it! |

In all honesty, this sort of thing evens out the score for folks that can't do as much. There will always be folks with 'better' gear 'hogging the show' so to speak. This more or less gives folks a chance to still 'win' if they contribute something. |
