I'm curious to see if Gwen asks a single energy policy question....

Biden voted NO on the pipeline from alaska...  she'll kill him on that alone.   Today in TN, gas lines are STILL blocks long in some places due to the shortages.

drill baby drill...

Go Palin Go!!!

Are you serious bud? Everyone, including even Fox News, have all stated that the bar is set very very low for Palin. You have it ass-backwards. It means she has to show up, not pass out, not cry, and they might call this thing a tie. You must close your eyes and hum during the boring parts of the news huh? If there aren't explosions or car chases it's all a blur right? Don't worry, you aren't alone.

Can you even imagine if Palin was the one saying FDR was on the TV in the great depression trying to calm nerves...  give me a break.  You'd be leading the charge to call her incompetent and YOU KNOW IT.

The lady is gonna have to walk on the edge of a razor and one slip and everyone points and gets all in a tizzy...  when biden fubars up you all laugh and say "love that joe! ha aha ha"   YOU are a perfect example of the double standard of liberalism.

and just to set the record clear...  a TIE is a win for Palin since she's got the higher standard to uphold.

my god if she dares to mention God you're all gonna fall off your couches and scream like demons aren't you? lol.

I'll just add this..   Liberalism is as much a religion as Palin's church is.  At least her religion is based on a moral code.

Heh, I thought about adding that due to the recent debate but I had already clicked "post message".

Oh, and same goes for almost all desserts including cake, pie, brownies, and cobbler. I even throw twinkies and candy bars in the freezer before eating them.

mmmmmmm...cake.  man why did u have to go and say that!!!  LOL.

very fascinating quotes from hitler.  gosh, alot of what he said had to be "reasonable" at first or he'd never have been made the leader of that nation no?   So was it subtle or hidden deception?  or what else could it have been?  I just think that the left walks a very dangerous road towards things they often claim to hate...this is one example.

http://facethestate.com/articles/democracy-alliance-memo-details-dem-plan-educate-idiots-and-target-minorities

This site is heavy with traffic, took me 3 times to get through.

but...for brevity..

""""

In a confidential internal memorandum obtained by Face The State (PDF), the Colorado Democracy Alliance outlines a roster of "operatives" who worked for Democratic victory in the 2006 general election. The document outlines specific tasks for various members of the state's liberal infrastructure, including a campaign to "educate the idiots," assigned to the state's AFL-CIO union. Among the operation's intended targets: "minorities, GED's, drop-outs."

Individuals named in the document, marked "CONFIDENTIAL," "for internal use only," and "DO NOT DISTRIBUTE," are high-level elected Democrats including House Speaker Andrew Romanoff, former Senate President Joan Fitz-Gerald, as well as Gov. Bill Ritter's press aide and former campaign chief Evan Dreyer. All are specially marked as "off-the-record or covert."

Mentioned as a "critical contact" was Dominic DelPapa, a partner at Ikon Public Affairs. DelPapa was at the center of recent controversy stemming from the February leak of a confidential memo he authored detailing a multi-million dollar "foot on throat" attack on Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Schaffer, among others.

CoDA is one of 18 state-based versions of the nationally focused Democracy Alliance, a self-described "investment partnership of business and philanthropic leaders" funding liberal infrastructure nationwide. For more information about the Democracy Alliance in Colorado, see day one and two of Face The State's week-long series on the group.

In a podcast released by the DNC Host Committee Tuesday, national Democracy Alliance founder Rob Stein explains the need for large, secretive donor networks. "We do not have the infrastructure that the right has built, yet," he said. "But there has never in the history of progressivedom (sic) been a clearer, more strategic, more focused, more disciplined, better financed group of institutions operating at the state and national level."

In the same podcast, Laurie Hirschfeld Zeller, the newly installed executive director of CoDA, explains her organization's mission. "Our job is to build a long-term progressive infrastructure in Colorado while we're conceding nothing in the short term in terms of progressive goals at the ballot box."

"""""""  end quote

"educate the idiots"   can you imagine if there was an internal memo found by republicans that even JOKED like that?  you libs would be calling for impeachments, prosecuting attorneys, and kitchen sinks.

Another example of their elitist agenda and what they really think of even their own voters.

Glad I can be of service cause you won't get this on CNN.

I tried to download the PDF, but it is overrun with traffic atm.

Fair enough. I wonder where McCain stands on the issue. . .?

it's true i don't like his position either, but he'll cave to the fence crowd and give us a strong boarder in time.

What I've always found disconcerting is how this situation is pretty much our fault to begin with. Why must we always meddle..

"or engineer something so that they can have a justified retaliation."   < care to show us an example of this in the past?  don't bother quoting hammas either.

America is flat broke. So they won't either.

If I was a betting man, I'd be betting Iran joins the nuclear club and then we all start talking nicely to them again.

LOL...we're flat broke.  LOL.

I promise you my friend...  the ONLY thing our constitution provides dollars expense for is nat'l defense...and we got PLENTY of that sitting and READY to go.

The day everyone thinks the US can't defend herself is the day WWIII starts...and the day we will win yet another war. It's the U.S. military might that holds back the evil in most of this planet.  Without us North korea invades the south,   then Iran, syria, and prolly a couple others attack Israel....  WW III...make no mistake.  India and pakistan would go to war...  you libs think the danger is made up to make repubs look good....that's why your ideology is so far messed up and the American people know who to trust in times of danger.

I hope they do attack election week.  you libs will say it's to try and sway the election, but the american voter knows better.

If she was trying to influence the election, she would be going to print now, as opposed to waiting until inauguration day.

How about we play a game with it. You post a list of questions you think should be off the table, and we'll see if she asks them. Likewise, add a list of questions you think should be mandatory and we'll check on those as well. I just want to gauge to what extent her obvious bias is supposed to be persuasive in this debate. This should be fun.

This is one of the same reporters who actually said that Palin could not be a mother of 5 and vp at the same time, lest you forgot already.

this book she's writing...  makes her have a vested interest in Obama winning the election.  and YOU are trying to tell me she's not biased?  Are you shitting me?

Oh maybe you think she wrote the book for charity?   get a clue.

Sure is. It would be like Rush doing the VP debates. I can not fathom why you don't see this. Are you so far into Obama that you can't see the bias? She is clueless on conservative ideas so the debate will definatly lean to Obama's marxist ideas.

I actually had to think about whether or not to dignify your comment with response. Do you really intend to compare Gwen Ifill and Rush Limabaugh? I mean, I seriously hope it's just for effect, and you don't really plan to use that as your rationale opposing her as a moderator.

Conservative ideas? She's not a judge, and she won't be announcing a winner. She's merely going to ask questions. Besides, the bar is set so low for Palin that all she needs to do is show up without a booger hanging from her nose and she wins. That shouldn't be too tough.

You need more proof?

I will see it too.  Though I am not a huge fan of political hit pieces, such as movies like 'W' and others.

one other movie desertfox that came out on the "right" side was "expelled: no intelligence allowed" by ben stein.... I went to see that one at the theater, it was eye opening.  It's not political per se, but it is if you look at the larger picture involved ...in my opinion.
