There are people here who have been waiting and watching this game for literally, years.... it really bugs me when people like the ones that surface in this thread wait a couple of weeks and then moan because its not in beta or release yet.... If you want to play unfinished games, there are plenty on the market. *WE* however, want to see this one nurtured and developed properly.

Go back a few pages and see the amount of discussion about the game that took place before there was any info, back when newsletters had *gasp* CONCEPT ART (and it would be at least 4 months or more untill you got the next newsletter!)..... back before the website was redesigned with the new character designs and concepts. Back when we were looking at the same screenshots for 6 months and just talking about what we could see in them. And it wasn't anything compared to the screenies that come out now. Most of the old screenshots are said to not represent the game anymore.  Infact the majority of the talk was just dreaming and talking about what we'd want in the game......


That is why it is just silly to see people who've probably seen one video or one letter , waited a month and then moan that they haven't been given all the info about the game that will ever possibly be available. 

If you don't want to wait for it, fine? More room and oxygen in the vault for the rest of us.

The video wasn't released by them, remember, it was MOGArmy.

I think they deserve to slack off as much as they want. If they do, then they won't get any revenue from the game, so they lose. Seeing as they haven't stated they will even release the game means that we cannot expect anything from them.

Ok I went through all the threads on this quilt of destruction and I didn't see one on communication. Almost all mmo's out there used the small chat box at the bottom of the screen, and though I always used it to keep up with different conversations I have always LOVED the comicbook style chat windows that open above someones head when they speak. Seems like it was always easier to keep up with and I was in a town full of people selling different wares I could always find the one I want by watching what they say and not trying to play match the name with the vendor.

I hope this is they way FE is leaning though I havn't seen anything yet on the subject.

I agree with clive on this one. Maybe a snowballs chance in hell would best describe the odds but there should at least be those odds. I could never beat up Tito Ortiz on a man to man basis but I bet if me and a few friends found him drunk and sleeping we could do a number on him.

If not damage alot of the skills that an older player should be able to attain should be speed and agility so that there is a definate difference in the fighting style between some boot and a hardened killer.

Im caught at a fork in the road. Between the travelers and the enforcers, who both have some purdy bada$$ reasons to play as, its hard to really pick one right now. Guess I'll find out when I have my "Which character gets beatup the most" competition on beta/launch.

P.S. I was thinking of forcing my gf to play.

You know it doesn't matter how many times these topics keep comming up, everytime I read them I feel like Im learning it all for the first time again. DAMN YOU ICARUS!!!!!!

Though for the topic at hand I have been playing alot of shooters (every game in the battlefield series) and other rpg's but have yet to settle down on an mmo that remotely gets my attention like FE.

I noticed noone mentioned the most abundent natural weapon of all. "THE HUMAN CORPSE" It's got it ALL, the two lower ribs would make great shanks as well as the rib cage from a larger person could be used as addons for lining a jacket. Would be great for easing the trauma of a baseball bat. Sharpened phemors could put a nice hole in a gut. Even a rotting corpse could do a number on a small poputaion if dropped in the local watering hole. Human leather slings for launching knuckle bones.

The possibilities are endless. When the fall comes the true killers will rise.
