File a petition for hacked account. This kind of petitions usually take priority. But you must write it formally and with as much information as you can; nothing as your flame post here. If you don't get an answer in a few days, call them.

Also make sure to identify and cleanse the trojan/keylogger in your computer, or you won't solve anything. Identify the source, where you got the trojan from, and patch that whole. This part of the end is your own responsibility.

Only if it was ffa or clan vs. clan, I would sub right now. Unfortunately, no matter how much housing, pets, skills, gfx they code in, the focus of the game is pvp and I cannot stand forced faction pvp anymore.

Just for the housing it deserves a subscription, imo...

Let the arguments begin!!

Oxymoron? O:-)

Ver. 1.5 in the Eur/NA release is very good news. No, it was a necessity indeed.

Following the reports by Chinese players, AION-CN (v1.0) is on the verge of fail. From lv. 30 onwards it's a mob grind and player burnout looks very heavy. Even with WoW-CN out of combat for more than one month due to distributor change, Aion-CN future looks grey.

But I fear this version upgrade won't be enough to make Aion successful in Eur/NA. If active measures are not taken against farmers and bots, it will be all for nothing. Even the old Lineage 2 players may not be disposed to encounter and fight against such controversial situation again. The reports about Abyss Point farming also sound very discouraging. Any mindless farming for the sake of farming is discouraging in general :p

I can see the game a big success, depending on the value and effectiveness of NCSoft support.

Probably Lineage2's. It's some kind of boring minigame where you pull and loose, using different baits, poles and fish-shots. At least more well thought and complex than the simple and usual 'click when the bouble moves' in wow and others.

Edit: I wonder how is Aion's fishing...

Just trying to clean face for the upcoming Aion.

BTW, http://www.aionsource.com/forum/general-discussion/9340-first-bots-aion.html

Only time will tell if NCsoft NA will behave the same way with Aion regarding bots that they did with Lineage. The Korean branch has always been far more competent; it's the NA area the problem here...

You all know Korea, China, and more countries every year, have laws that limit the online gaming usage in multiple ways. It's not a communist threat. It's a measure for health, based on of multiple cases of death and irresponsibility related to online game addiction.

I think 300h/month (10h/day) can be seen as something acceptable that only disrupts the people's life as 1)the farmers' who will get less adenas and anyway should be banned by the EULA if ncsoft did his job right -maybe Buddha shows in front of the GMs and illuminates them-, 2)the rl addicts', who would play more.

Now while I understand this view, I would prefer for these limits to _not_ exist, because it's not that *uncommon* 10h longer gaming sessions -with breaks in the middle, duh- when in vacation, game release, etc. But because of a few addicts who need rl help, we all pay for it, just like the rest of addictions.

GTC prices

You cannot be ruler and player at the same time. CCP is there for the money. Also, the so boasted 'free market' of Eve isn't so free. It's an artificial market made and controlled by CCP. Ask yourself, who gets the money from all this isk trading?

It's a too shady business when the same company supports and encourages item/gold trading for real money. As intended I suppose. I just hope all the people who agree with it, never try to bash those asian games with item mall, ever.

What I see from all that is EA launched WAR too early and compromised its future (WAR's) in order to get a not-so-bad quarterly result.

Well, I suppose it's OK if a few more people could continue working in EA thanks to that. Or maybe the sacrifice has been too big.

There ends the sandbox and player self regulated game model.

Way to confuse real life with virtual life.

Dont know if its been mentioned already but they beat the kid up and tortured him to force him to give them the items...

This makes the story completely different, doesn't it?

The good part is that it's very good to run some 'online' applications from google and others which are very heavy on javascript, like Reader. It will help to consolidate them.

The bad part is if you're using msexplorer by now then you won't bother for chrome or firefox, probably. It will go more against firefox than against microsoft. Also, I'm very spoiled with addons like Adblock Plus, and NoScript, that I consider necessary, so I'll be staying with firefox.

Would be even cooler if MrT did one for Warhammer.

I think you're trying to imply he's a noob who bought the ISK and what happened to him is divine retribution for that.

About this 1) he buying ISK cannot be logically deduced from the text. It's a comparison he makes so people who cannot play (or new to) EVE can understand the reach of the losses, which is appropriate since 2) ISK trading -through time cards and that crap- is well within the rules of the game so pls realize what kind of game really is what you play.

Only left is that 3) the bugs he speaks about are well known since years ago, as well as the 4) refined customer service of this company. Which makes him some kind of masochist person.

Edit: this is an answer to a closed thread :) Forum bug :))

Even if it has the best quests, it's not much to talk about...

AOE Mage parties in Forge of Gods.

The Zip file they loaded into the different download sites is corrupted :/ Bugger. Use the direct download from their site. It provides you a EXE downloader which works fine and fast.

Don't wait a week. Phone them tomorrow morning. Make the GM explain what happened and repair the error. Be direct and clear when you explain. If he gives problems, ask for his superior.

It may look impressive, but in reality it's quite sad. In Lineage2 (retail) I got in 3-4 hour raids, along with other 400 ally players.

But it's basically a kite and spank fest. There is no strategy. Just kite the boss whoever got aggro until the beast one shots you down and It goes after somebody else. Then the ressers will rise you up, buff you, and so on.

Ol' WoW raids (the scripted ones, not the tank-n-spank ones, of course) are far more interesting and entertaining with just 40ppl, or 25 ppl now.

Same could be said about the sieges with 1000+ people (yes, more than a thousand people fighting on a map). It may look magestic and impressive at first, but this zerging style gets boring fast. Even ganking with your party looking for lonely targets is more interesting.

I smell bullshit. Could you give us the email headers, please?
