And no, I am not thinking about playing it regularly, I was merely making the point that this game actually has made significant improvements. It is still no where near what I would call "wort the time" and much less "worth to pay money for" but it is certainly not as abysmal as it was when the Settlers of Ganareth event went down.

There is also one thing you guys who try to convince everybody that this game has actually gotten any better in any REAL sense since SOG (which remember wasnt really DNL according to Farlan) that you guys arent even thinking about or perhaps are forgetting......A few of us who post here STILL HAVE ACCOUNTS with the game and DO CHECK IN periodically, especially whenever a new round of these so-called 'new" player posts jam the boards.

So! When some of us, and dont just single me out - you got 10 others here who arent even regular "usual suspects' whom all appear to agree with the "usual suspects" --- state the plain facts, find blaringly false statements made by the fanboi kamakazi league (as further evidenced by the post made on the farlan dnl boards regarding coming here and doing what you are doing -- ) we are only telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth

The game has NOT made any significant improvements since SOG. There is still unstability, no content, broken quests, broken terrain and allllllll the other problems that Farlan ADMITTED that they cant fix...coming on here now and saying it is fixed is a flat out lie. period.

Opinions are one thing....blatant false posts are yet another. But I guess thats all DNL and apparently its fanbois are all about anyway.

Thank you Indira. Agh seems to think that simply because I state the facts, that these are only "opinions". The OP stated the game is fun. The OP, it was also pointed by out by yet another member/poster here at mmorpg.com, had made only 3 posts -- 2 saying how good DNL is and one about Fury. I think that says alot. Yes,that was an opinion of mine. Anyone who comes on here and has only 3 posts, and those posts are bald-faced shill posts -- shill whether the poster is paid or not -- then its my opinion, as well as that of others as you can see in this thread. Opinion based on reasonable circumstances.

The circumstances here in this "game" DNL are not what the OP stated.

People are free to do as they wish. Nothing I say can or will hold them back from doing what they wish. Pretty freakin kewl some people think that I wield as much influence as to be able to accomplish that!! LMAO.

The OP's "opinion" would have had more weight if he was indeed a regular here at mmorpg and not just someone that comes on to try to bury a hot topic with ridiculous claims about this game.

Yes, October indeed. Strange to see how the Court system is some cases seems to be moving at a snail pace. But not realy suprising considering the Defense parties did (and still do) everything they could to delay the proceedings. Well at least now, we've got the begining of an answer on their part, the first one I get in 4 years... But who cares, DnL is a big free to play game now, isn'it?

My personal treatment of any who express idiotic, outlandish and absolute candy coated bs is exactly as I treat any other person who posts. Thier "views" include such propaganda its an insult to any reader who bothers to read this forum. Most of the recent (within the past year that is) posts that claim this game is anything other than an abysmal failure are indeed insulting to the entire mmo community.

I do believe that your accusations against me personally and any other regular and informed poster here are in fact what you are doing yourself. Insulting the intelligence of the general mmo community with the sugar coated view of DNL. The "shills" for lack of a better word, post here to get people to play it. What you arent realizing is that the word is and has been out about this game. Trying to get unsuspecting people to try it is simply a baldfaced attempt at sugar coated horrible truths and most end up frustrated and disillusioned even more with the entire mmo industry.

Telling the truth isnt insulting anybody. Sugar coating the truth indeed is.

Agh and other shills -- you claim that in our arrogance we prevent people from playing this game. That, however, is incorrect.

In your own, I must say 'eloquence", you yourself have stated the abysmal performance and content in this game. You yourself have acknowledged the shananigans played out by the sleazy team of Farceland and NPFleece. You yourself have testimony of the problems with this game from the download to the actual play to the content to the bugs riddled throughout.

With that, any post that claims this game is the bomb, its fantastic, its fun, its enjoyable is complete and utter candy coated bs.

All we arrogant people do is tell them the truth. Period.

These posts that claim how "fun" the world is, how "big" the world is......its all candy coated bs. There are INDEED OTHER GAMES with a massive world -- there are INDEED OTHER GAMES with flying -- there are INDEED OTHER GAMES with the "ideas" and "visions" of DNL. DNL is not a revolutionary game nor even 'the next big thing in mmo".....they blew it. It's old hat now - blase' and DNL's debut was a complete failure.

You can definitely believe when it is said that NO ONE will be inspired by the "vision" of DNL. Hold up, I take that back. They will indeed be inspired by it, by the simple fact of HOW NOT TO PRODUCE A GAME as well as HOW NOT TO MARKET a game, as well as HOW NOT TO TREAT YOUR FANS, as well as HOW NOT TO LIE TO CUSTOMERS and finally, DNL is indeed a useful tool for learning HOW NOT TO RIP CUSTOMERS, COLLEAGUES and the MMO INDUSTRY off.

Farceland and NPFleece still have an obtrustive and abnormal view of the truth and what exactly it is. This game is horrible. There are no "miracle" patches -- that story has been around for years and is STILL not produced -- there are no stable servers, content, decent working quests or even a fixed launcher.  We tell people before they waste their time, energy and puter space. We tell the truth.
