Lol, we have never ever allied to fight the balaur. The balaur is nothing more than dumb cannon fodders. The top people that thought a 3rd faction controlled by the computer which can mimic the action of a 3rd human faction, obviously does not know how the real world works. I myself am going to The Secret World. Now there's a true 3 faction game for you.

I was actually in the beta. It was only a server stressed test beta so we saw no mobs, no npc, no items, no nothing. All I can say was, even with the graphics and control it had, the mechanic was clearly not smoothly enough. I'm sad for all the people that worked on the project but clearly this was going to fail if it had launched. At least they had the sensibility and courage to admit when they see a dead horse, instead of being stubborn, releasing the game and wasting even more millions on it. Trust me, you would NOT pay sub to play this game. I'm not even sure you would even play it if it was free.

This whole pre-order thing is stupid. We all know they're going to do free trial play level 1 to 20, just like Rift. So why don't they just do that instead of this stupid open beta thing and potentially confusing people and pushing them away. In any case I don't think this game will survive even when it goes free to play (which it will) in the future. Not that it benefits me or that I take any particular pleasure in seeing this game fail. Just saying my prediction, with heavy weights like GW2 and The Secret World releasing in about 2 months time and that's also not including non-mmo games like Bioshock Infinite and Starcraft 2:Heart of the Swarm. Tera offers nothing "new" or "unique". But then again, kids care more about the graphics than anything else. |

So regarding the EU aion, is the game not "Truly Free" now? Because while you can access EVERY instance in the game, the cooldown on some instances is up to 4 days while if you "buy" their 30-days gold pack then the cooldown on instances is the normal time. And @3:08 did they really trademark the words "Truly Free" ?! o.O |

A fair warning about the grind: 19 Hours from level 44 to 45.

I thought grinding was because of two reasons: 1) To slow down the top guilds and guilds with mass members in their rank, from consuming the whole entire content in 3-6 months. Imagine that, 3-4 years of hardcore development and people finishes it in a few months! Kind of insulting... 2) To give those solo players and people who's too shy to join a guild/group (in case they have to "chat" to other "real" people), a chance to catch up... somewhat. Everyone knows it's much more easier to level up when you're low than when you're high level. Hence a bigger population in the middle than in the end. And wasn't Aion made for social people? You don't "have" to be in a guild or even a "community" but you should at least be willing to group up quite eagerly, you know, otherwise play go play your Final Fantasy games. And on that note, I heard FF14 will be made specifically for the Hikimori.... ~ cue mass googling of the word "hikimori" ~ My tip: Do those repeatable quests that requires you to "only" kill, and not collect. If you were In a full group of six, you would have to kill about 3-4 mobs each (if the quests required about 20 kills), and then turn in the quest. And how long does it take to kill 3-4 mobs? You can do it in like 5 mins, probably less and even if you don't get as much xp from those quests per turn in, the rate of turn in will still be faster than if you try to solo high level mobs and you'll also get LOADS of money! Easily get over 100k. Anyway, there's a saying: "The ties of friendship and bonds of brotherhood are formed Strongest in the midst of battle." Thats why I LOVE PARTIES not just to grind, but for protection and making friends. 19 hours from 44 to 45 huh... I could solo that in one day or one weekend day, but I'll probably be to busy ganking the opposing race and stopping them from leveling up Peace out/ |

Man, if only they had set this game in space... We could have had, like, Space Marines and Legion of Chaos! Man I would LOVE to have played them, and Tyranids and all those other COOL races!!! We could even maybe have awesome jetpacks! And anti-gravity battles! Yeah awesome! pew pew. Is there a WoW game set in space? No? Man, they could have totally capitalised and monopolise that theme. No competition!!! People wanna play fantasy, they play WoW. People wanna play hardcore Space Marines, then they have to play WAR cause there's no other game like it out there.... Man, that idea alone was worth all their developers high paid salaries. All they had to do was copy an idea and they failed at that. I say fire the lot of them and hire me. |

"This drastic change in leveling is due to several factors." Um... 1) Like the fact that Warhammer Online is coming out soon? Or is it... 2) Games like WoW has stolen all your subscriptions? Or is it... 3) That Games like Guild Wars exist where you don't have to grind 24 hours for 1 year to access high lvl content e.g castle siege without dieing from a 1 hit kill? Or is it... 4) There are thousands of games where you can grind for free anyway e.g. RF Online, Rose Online, Florensia, Sword of the New World and thousands of other translated MMO. Or is it... 5) Because people who buy your game play for 1 month and don't come back so you're not getting any new subscriptions anyway? Or is it... 6) People in the Western world prefer real girls and a life out in the Sun rather than spend their life in the dark, in front of a PC, Masturbating.... Who knows....
